Cold Lobster Roll $21 - no sides

The food was pretty good, for the price, there wasn't much of it, unfortunately. Everything seems to be a la carte and lunch for two people was $70. The lobster rolls were absolutely delicious but really pricey and for a sandwich that small, a side of Cole slaw or chips or fries should be included. The person who took our order was friendly and the food came out quickly. No public restroom and advised to go across the street to CVS definitely not what you expect for a $70 lunch. Comfortable lunch counter under cover outside to eat your food, would return again.

A business worth supporting! Ryan and the rest of the staff were so friendly and accommodating, even though we came in about half an hour before closing. They never made us feel rushed or like we were inconveniencing them. Great service! Standouts were the dock fries and the clam chowder. The fries were better than we expected and I would go back even just for that. There are a few stools outside at a counter if you want to eat in. Small parking lot so you don't have to worry about where to park. Great place to have/pick up a quick meal or other market items. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Picked up takeout here 3 times during our week long stay. Tons of options, fresh seafood, quick friendly service. Highlights were the cheesesteak, shrimp and steak sandwich .

Was looking for something quick, not a traditional sit down. The name of restaurant caught my attention, as we list our Dave back in October after a short battle with cancer. Our last family vacation down here was our last time of "normal" so I thought this would be a fitting tribute to him. We ordered clam strips and crab cakes sandwiches. Clam strips were tender and delicious the best I have ever had. And the crab cakes were filled with crab meat, not filler. We ate right in their porch and enjoyed every bite the young man at the counter was so nice. We can't wait to back next year!

I'm surprised that there was no reviews about this place. It's definitely a hidden gem in Cape May. It's basically a seafood market, but it sells produce, chips, and other grocery products. They have lunch menu. Not expansive but the star of the menu is definitely the lobster roll. My husband said it was better than the one in the main eatery in Cape May. The brioche was soft and nicely toasted, good amount of lobster. You can also buy just the lobster salad by the pound. Fried calamari is highly recommended. Great breading, so crunchy and the breading didn't fall apart. It's a family business. Everyone there were so friendly and welcoming. They had huge scallops and big uncooked crab cakes with no filler. Also salmon, shrimps, tuna, and other fish. The gentleman explained the best way to cook it. In the freezer on the right you can find frozen king crab and dungenese crabs. They were very accommodating to my request for putting the scallops in a plastic container instead of plastic bag. You can follow their instagram for the food truck schedule. I recommend this place for seafood, also to support local business. It closes on Mondays

Stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The place had a nice vibe and everything was well put together. My order came out pretty fast, and it tasted great. Not sure it's a go-to spot for me yet, but I'd definitely come back and try more from the menu.

Great seafood and service. Lobster roll and jumbo lump crab sandwich are well worth the money! Fresh!

I walked over and asked them if there was dairy in the sauce. A girl nicely said yes, it's sour cream. I responded nicely explaing that I only asked because my husband is allergic to dairy. Before I could finish speaking, the guy, maybe the owner? snapped at me telling me that "I wont refund you for that. We cant just know everyones allergies" and the girl nastily said "it says it on the menu so.." Okay, thats on me for not reading the fine print. I didnt ask for a new one or a refund or anything, just needed to know if he could eat his food or not. But in what world is it okay to be nasty to someone for asking a question? I responded with "okay" and walked away. I used our napkins to wipe off the sauce from some of the scallops, but his mouth got itchy so he couldnt eat the rest. We were having a great time at Cussers, but that nasty experience made my night go sour quick. I was so caught off guard, did not expect to be spoken to that way.

There's only ONE thing that pissed me off here, and I'll blame the employee, not the establishment…read more I'll save that for last because, more importantly, this place is fantastic for breakfast or lunch. We arrived around 1:45pm, waited about 30 minutes and were sat shortly before 2:30pm. Had to order in a hurry if we wanted breakfast. I got a Goat Cheese Salad that was FANTASTIC. Wife ordered Beet Salad with pepitas (pumpkin seeds) that was boring, so I got a side of warm goat cheese for her and that made it better. Daughter got the Lobster Grilled Cheese. I liked it but she felt it was a little boring... I think maybe the bread was too thick for the amount of lobster on the sandwich. For my main, I had the Fish Reuben. It was spectacular. My daughter liked it more than her grilled cheese... it was great. Dessert was the Blueberry Lemon Cheese Cake, which I saw a great looking picture of here on Yelp. Man, that blew us away. I got a Lychee Martini drink from the menu... two whole leechee in there. It was good but I think a little heavy on the sour mix. Not worth $22. We were super lucky that it was nice outside and I so appreciated the umbrella. The waiter was really good. Asfor the hostess that led us to the outside table... she showed me to one with some shade, and she was thinking that maybe they could move the table, which would have been great. Instead, she showed me to a table in the back of that area. She noticed a black thing on the tablecloth that she tried to brush off, but it only moved... she left it alone. She walked away, and I saw the black thing and thought it was a piece of fuzz. When I flicked it, it was moist and some stuck to my finger... which immediately told me it was BIRD SHIT. I told them about it and thankfully they changed the table cloth as I went to wash my hands. Regardless, I would definitely return.
