Fries are not included, so each meal ended up costing about $16 for a burger and fries without a drink. We ordered the regular cheeseburger, the Cowboy with bacon, BBQ sauce, and American cheese, the Cobra Kai with cream cheese, pickled jalapeños, and jalapeño jelly, and the Classic Jack with caramelized onions, JB sauce, and dill pickles. Everything tasted solid, but nothing really stood out compared to other burgers I have had. I was also confused by the "dill pickles" topping since every burger already came with a pickle on the side. One downside was the limited menu. There were no chicken tenders or ranch options for others in our group who wanted something simpler. The restaurant itself is very small and does not seem ideal for larger groups. We had five people and needed an extra stool added to our table to fit everyone. Another group of seven ended up leaving because they could not sit together. That said, I would still come back if I were in the area since I did enjoy the meal for what it was . A special shoutout to the waitress with the bridge piercing. She was friendly, accommodating, and quick with service, which really stood out.

I chose the Becca Burger, without mushrooms and their Steak Diablo Fries. They make everything fresh, to order with fresh ingredients. The burger was clearly freshly hand-packed, the jalapeños were freshly sliced, not pickled. Since they make it all fresh, you might wait a few minutes longer than the typical burger joint, but that's fine considering the amazing eats you're about to enjoy. My burger came out looking beautiful and it was definitely sitting tall! The flavor was excellent! Meat was great too!! I definitely liked having their chipotle mayo on it!! Those steak Diablo fries were incredibly tasty, with a nice kick, but sooo much more flavor than heat! The fries themselves were great, perfectly crispy and tasty, but adding all those toppings truly made it special! Service was nice... I had a few questions and she was helpful with the answers. Lastly, they have birch beer here, which I loved! Highly recommend stopping in for a great burger and fries experience!!

I've been coming here for a long time and didn't even realize that I never reviewed it. Fish n chips, burgers, fries- -you can't go wrong. Everything is seasoned well, cooked right and served up hot! And the to go bags aren't skimpy either and I love that! The parking lot is small but you can park on the side street if needed and walk up to the corner. Ambience inside is Buffalo to the max! If you're a Buffalo sports fan you'll love it, if you're not you can respect it! Now that you're done reading go get a burger!!

Great gourmet burger options! I had the French Dip, which was divine!…read more Fries are crispy and fantastic. Everyone was vey happy, especially those in the party who ordered the spiciest burger on the menu. (MAYBE it had Reaper or Ghost, but I don't recall. ) Definitely a pub feel, but not obnoxious and still great for non-drinkers like me. Excellent option for non-chain burgers. Everyone plays on their phones through a QR code, so the room stays pretty calm. No shouting answers or chaos, just a lot of people quietly locked into trivia. I was seated immediately and ordered The Big Cheese burger. At first glance, it looked promising. The beef seemed like quality meat and not a frozen hockey puck. The vegetables were also very fresh. No sad, limp lettuce or those weird mushy tomato slices some places try to pass off as fresh. But here's where things went sideways: the patty had almost no flavor. I'm honestly not convinced it met salt at any point during its journey to the plate. It wasn't bad, just noticeably under-seasoned. For a place that positions itself as a serious burger spot, seasoning the meat feels like Burger 101. The fries were good. They offer different seasoning options, but I kept it simple with salt and pepper. I also ordered the Cheerwine sangria, which sounded like it would be something special. In reality, it mostly tasted like regular sangria that someone carbonated. Not bad, just not particularly interesting. Service was friendly and quick, which I appreciated. Overall, the meal was fine. But when your whole mission is basically "we're the burger experts," it's a little surprising when the burger tastes like the seasoning got left in the kitchen.

The restaurant has a modern, industrial style: concrete floors and benches along the walls. The restaurant was fairly busy when we there with only one server working. The waitress and bar tender were super nice and helpful with menu recommendations. I order their fried shrimp appetizer which came with 8 large shrimp and a side of tater tots. It was tasty but lacked seasoning. When I sat down, I noticed a lot of salt on the table....i understood why haha as I found myself sprinkling salt throughout out. They were crunchy and tender on the inside. Getting to this location was super easy and they own their own parking lot which is free for patrons. If you're not able to find parking, they have plenty of paid street parking. I also want to add that they do offer discounts but to service members who are in uniform. Service members rarely ever wear their uniforms just to dine out unless they are on official orders or are working full time. I find that a bit unfortunate because the value veterans and military service members bring should be honored while they are and are not in uniform so I hope that the management changes that policy someday. They offer no other forms of discounts as I asked about teachers and emergency personnel too just to give people something additional when seeking this place out. It's still a good lunch spot tho.

Do you like fries that are limp and doused in salt, or a wait staff that doesn't care. Then McDonald's is the place for you! But if you want a burger that tastes great, fresh fries full of flavor, and staff that clearly love their job, then go to Smashers! Easily the best burger in the 757 (no offense to Frank & Patty's or Jack Brown's - you're good, but this is just better). Prices are reasonable, even if you're ordering from their food truck going around the area. And the burgers themselves are amazing - wonderfully smashed, perfect balance of meat flavor and seasoning, cooked to perfection. The burgers themselves are always juicy, but not overly so - a problem I've always had with places like Shake Shack. I love the owner's story and will always support this small business. Keep up the great work!

At $18, I expected a high-quality smash burger and hot, well-executed fries, but both were underwhelming. The burger lacked the crispy sear you expect from a smash style and wasn't notably flavorful, and the fries were overcooked, under-salted, and flavorless. Service was also slower than expected for a simple order; there were barely that many of us waiting. This used to be a well-revered food truck. I almost gave this a 2-star review because the price point of $18 (that's the price WITHOUT a drink), but I'm not trying to tank this joint's average. Maybe it was an off day. I truly just want to give an honest review to temper all the glowing reviews that led me to this place today. I will not be returning.
