I wanted to get a custom pendant for a wedding gift but the jewelry designer I wanted to work with had a 30-day turnaround time (it was a week before the wedding). I was scrambling to find a 3d printing or laser-cutting shop until I got on the phone with John who said that he could get it done within a couple days. I also was able to get an incredibly quick turnaround(about a day once finalized) and flexibility as I needed my own design etched on a box I already had, not just a standard flat board. As an artist myself, I see this as a great medium to display work, and the level of fidelity captured in wood is truly amazing.
