Went into the office to be helped by a woman who was very professional and helped me choose what I wanted for the engraving. We went over a few fonts and also provided a vector image. During the setup we exchanged messages to revise. I liked that they showed an image of what the AirPod pro case would look like. The mockup provided was dead center. But the actual product was not. I was told that after I received the finalize product that the mockup won't look like the actual product. What's the point of doing revisions if it's not gonna come out exactly as you want? I wish they let me know that ahead of time. I received the AirPod pro Case and the box had small dents in the corner as well as black finger print marks on the box. They assured me that the box would be in pristine condition. Initially I didn't want to give it to them because of this. I should've just trusted my gut. Bought a pair of fine glass wedding champagne flutes, including 4 lines of custom engraving, likely etching, for $60. This shop has a big selection of glasswares, vases and plaques to choose from first hand, more convenient and assured than ordering on line, not knowing exactly how the products will turn out. Prices are better than average, may be 50-60% lower than comparable on-line shops. Ours is one off order, but looks like they can do very good deals on large-volume orders. Finished products were delivered in a gift paper bag. They could do more and better business selling fancy gift-wrapped boxes, so we don't have to look for them. The shop is on Tustin Ave in Santa Ana, off Fwy 55. Personnel are polite, helpful and professional. Horrible product & even worse service: Run from this place! There are plenty of other options. I initially called asking if they could do a very basic project which required two steps. They confirmed they could and asked me to take pictures of the item from both sides and email it to them. Through email, they again confirmed they could do the basic request, gave me a price, and told me to drop it off to them. It was a 90 minute roundtrip drive. When I arrived, the only person working said they couldn't do one of the two parts of the job. I explained that I called and emailed them, both times, resulting in them confirming they could do it. He claimed it was a "miscommunication" between us. No, it wasn't. It was as very simple project with a very basic explanation, including pictures, and they simply messed up saying they could do it. There was no miscommunication at all, so it wasted 90 minutes of my time and gas money, since I would have to find another place to do the second part. While there, they measured the plate size I needed, charged me for the project, and said they could have it sent out within three business days. 10 days past with no response from them, so I called to inquire. They didn't call me back. Three days later, I received a text saying it was ready for my to pick it up. I explained that since it was about 10 days later than they said, I needed it mailed since I wasn't in the area now. When I received it, the piece was far, far bigger than what was needed to fit the project. Even though they measured it in front of me, they somehow entirely messed up the size. More, what they sent was entirely different than what they claimed it would be: their "plastic laser engraving" was a sticker. I am not joking; the plaque they tried passing off was an adhesive that looks as cheap as it sounds. They then told me to measure it, and they would send out another sticker (which is all they did). This "product" they produce can only be a few dollars. I called them out for: 1) Wasting my time and gas money originally with their false confirmation they can do the project 2) Claiming it would be sent out within three business days (which didn't happen) 3) Me having to call them for an updated 4) Waiting another three days before I heard back 5) The item being entirely wrong in size compared to what they measured when I was there I explained that an ethical place would refund my charge and send the proper item (again, their cost has to be very, very low for it) to me immediately. They refused to do that. To show their true character and lack of ethics, at no time during any of their errors did they apologize, accept fault, explain why they kept messing up, or have basic business ethics. The product was bad enough. Their handling of their numerous errors was even worse. Update: The merchant responded to my review and even their response is not accurate. The merchant claimed "Your work order was reviewed and the information pertaining to the size and material needed for your project was stated there and acknowledged by our staff and yourself." That is entirely false. The measurement was taken by their staff in their office. They did not send a work order with the measurements, since the measurements were taken in front of me. However, the actual product they sent was a significantly different size than what they measured in front of me. Only after they had made numerous errors and had delays did they then send a new work order that actually included the measurements, after I had to do their work and measure the item since they dropped the ball on that, too. So no, besides all of the other issues, the size wasn't acknowledged by me via a work order like they claimed. Only after they made numerous errors and sent me the wrong sized item did they send yet another work order with measurements on them (after I had to provide the measurements to them). I called this store ahead of time and told them this would be my first time engraving something. I spoke with a gentleman that ask me some questions about the watches I wanted to engrave. At the end of the conversation he stated that it could be done and to come to the store for his services. This place is not near where I live so I left work early to bring the watches and drop them off for engraving. Unfortunately, I was great by a lady who turned me away because she said I needed to go to a jeweler to pull the pins out to remove the bands... Why didn't you tell me that over the phone?! Her attitude was very dismissive as she slid my my watches back toward me, without even putting them back in the box I brought them in. I ended up going to a jeweler who, to my surprise, also engraves! This new jeweler laughed when I told him what happened to me at OC Engraving. Did engravings for some time for our FF trophies. Trophies were always awesome looking. Last trophy (mug) I brought in they could not do the black etching on stainless like before. They attempted to do it on the mug anyways but the text was not visible. They refunded the money and I got it done elsewhere. I purchased nice martini glasses that I wanted to get engraved for a gift. I called a few engraving places, and not all could do martini glasses. I found Orange County engraving online, and stuck with them because of their location (on my way home from work), but more importantly because of their hours! They are open till 6pm and even on Saturday. Other places all closed at 5pm, which made it impossible to get this completed on time while working. I dropped off my glasses at the office, and in 3 days they were done. They allowed me to pick a font and sent me a digital proof before I approved the order. I loved how the glasses turned out. If you're looking for a place to help you add that personalized touch a gift or any item, and you want it done through the power of laser engraving, look no further. I had an especially tough time finding the right place to engrave my products since not a lot of places are willing to engrave on leather. (Disclaimer: I mean real, full-grain, skin-from-the-cow leather. NOT vinyl, or that cheap, prone-to-cracking-, fake-leather.) Real leather is expensive, and I just bought a few things to get me ready for my new job, and I needed to find a great place to hopefully deliver something special. I wanted to add a personal touch to my new briefcase and portfolio, and that extra personalization on my Dad's new wallet since his birthday was coming soon. Lots of places turned me away because leather is tricky when it comes to laser engraving. HOWEVER, OC Engraving was proactive, helpful, and delivered a finished product I am proud to take into my first day in the office. I called ahead and spoke to Danielle, who was very helpful in answering all my questions and emailed her some more information to get a rough quote. All in all, it took 2 days between getting my quote, approving emailed proofs of what my engraved products would look, and walking out with my finished products.
