Terrible service at this bushel stop! I will never ever go to this nursery again! Terrible service with a horrible attitude, from the cashier to the man who loaded plants in my car and was trying to steal 2 plants from the 10 I had bought, telling me over and over again that he had loaded 10 plants with me inside of my car counting only 8! The guy not only was rude but he seemed intoxicated! Ridiculous, I certainly didn't bother to give him a tip! The cashier answered me nasty and with terrible attitude when I asked how big was a bag of rubber mulch so I could tell how many to buy, he said: "pay first and then you can see the size of the bag when u pick it up!" Today I went in to buy 40 pounds of fire glass.. Their science as 40 pounds of fire glass is $54 They currently do not have 40 pound bags and they know that.. So I repeated I want 40 pounds I guess that means we're gonna be breaking it into the 20 poem bags.. When being rung up I paid $76 because they charged me for the 20 pound bag price times 2 Where I Told him the price for 40 pounds and he said that's not how it works you have 2 bags... I got paralyzed in my pocket book because they can't keep their shit straight.. It's gonna sell 40 pounds 40 pounds 40 pounds no matter how it is packaged.. When I was managing a Complex in Ft. Lauderdale, in the 1980's, into the 2000's, my Landscaper, Ted Connor, put me on to the Bushel Stop. They sell wholesale to the Trades and to the Public. They do a super job with mulch, stones, plants and trees, etc. In the last few weeks, I needed a lot of mulch and Liriope plants. The guys, at the counter, were very helpful and sent me out to the pickup area. There, a young man, by the name of Anton, loaded the heavy bags of mulch into my car and off I went. My experiences with the Bushel Stop have always been excellent, even though they know that the Philadelphia Eagles are my team. Heck, maybe I should get a discount, lol. Ordered 2 pallets of St. Augustine sod and had it delivered. Sod was full of massive amount of wild bermuda which is a huge problem to control. It is choking the St Aug grass bad and looks aweful in many spots. Will require a ton of work to fix it. The sod they sell as others mention is full of grubs. Lool elesewhere for sod. Pros and homeowners alike avoid this place at all costs. read more

Don't get sod here. I've had neighbors tell me about their bad experiences with Bushel Stop sod but I didn't listen and paid the price. Had a whole pallet die on me even though I followed the watering directions to the letter. They said it was floratam but I'm convinced they lied and gave me palmetto. Went inside ordered a dump truck load delivered to my home for the next day. The driver was a real pro. He put 3/4 up in the front yard and 1/4 in the circle just as I asked. Beautiful job. Can I give a business zero stars? My Lawn/Landscape company purchased 8 pallets of sod from this place in early June. Guess what? Dead. 75+ percentage of it already gone and it just keeps dieing. The bushel stop told my lawn guy if had died within the first week he might replace. What f&^%(*g sod is going to fully die in one week unless I sprayed it with total kill the day after installation? $2400 dollars down the drain. And, I have grubs. Prior to installation of sod it was nothing but dry dirt while my pool was being installed. Do grubs survive for 6 months in completely dry dirt? I wish I had seen these reviews before my sod installation...but I didn't know where my lawn service was going to buy the sod. Today he's installing pallets of new sod from a different company and it looks 100 times healthier than the crap sod Bushel Stop provided back in June. DO NOT. DO NOT. DO NOT purchase sod from the Bushel Stop. If you do, trust me....you will regret it. Both the lawn company and I got screwed by them......big time. read more

I purchased 7 cu yds of top soil. When I ordered it I was very clear it was the base for my new seed grass lawn. When it was delivered it looked ok, but as I shoveled it around the garden it became apparent this was approx. 2 cu yds of soil with 5 cu yds of fill; rocks, big and small, sea shells, used mulch, tin cans, cigarette butts, glass, house tiles, smashed cement blocks, shredded clothing, plastic bags, used zip ties, but probably the most disgusting ingredient in the fill was the large clumps of feces (yes people - poop)? Flies were surrounding the pile for the two days it took me to spread the fill in my garden. Five weeks on since I planted my grass seed, I spend hours every week picking rocks and shells out of the garden. The most frustrating issue is the weeds. Prior to me spreading the top soil, I used total kill and waited the recommended four weeks. The top soil that was delivered came with yellow sedge, spurge grass and crabgrass spores in it. I have had to spray herbacide twice since planting my grass seed. The Bushel stop top soil did seem like a good price for 7 cu yds, but buyer beware, if you are using it as a base to a new lawn give it a wide berth. One positive note, the delivery driver for was pleasant. read more

Saturday 5/18/19 10:50 am My fiancé and I walk in to check out some rocks for our yard. This place was referred to us by a friend so we came to check out the "one stop shop" and it was a waste of time! It was stupid from the time I got out of our truck! Some worker just starred at us in the parking lot like we owed him money! It got worse from there....we started walking towards the rock and soil area and I could feel someone starring at me so I turned to look left and some guy at the counter just sized me up so hard and it was super awkward because he kept starring and didn't say anything!?! You work here and you and I lock eyes and I look at you confused and I give you the universal shoulder shrug and hand gesture of "what's up?" And you still stare without even a smile, hello or goodmorning can I help you find something????? I was heated the whole time and I feel bad because my fiancé was like " hey don't let them ruin your morning" but it was well beyond that! I was going to give them a piece of my mind but he coaxed me into just walking away. We checked out their rock prices and they are soooooo jacked up it's unbelievable! Tooooo high so we left and getting our rocks from Nu Turf! It's sad they treated us like nothing and even worse there were three jacka$$es at the counter babbling as we left without even caring to offer assistance! Booooooooooo shame on you!!!!! I ordered gravel to fill my swale parking area a while back and paid for 3 yrds of rock. The area to fill is about 8 x 25 ft. 3 yrds should've covered this area 3 in deep. Unfortunately I wasn't home the afternoon they delivered, so imagine my surprise when I came home to find only about half the load I paid for. Took pics and sent to them when I called to complain. They couldn't have been less concerned. Kept my money and never delivered the rest. Tried to say the 4x5ft x 2.5ft high pile was 3 yrds. Not even close! read more

I had 2 - yes just 2 bags of sand. I was not asking for a refund but credit towards the plants I was buying. When I was told no receipt I can't help you.
