My husband (and basically all of his family and friends) have been going to Dawood or Sullu Khan for as long as they can remember. We married in 2016 and started filing jointly so our tax preparation with him is almost a decade now. About 2 years now, Dawood has been making careless mistakes. It's typos here and there. We didn't put a lot of emphasis but did point them out when we caught them. Well, now we've received a bill from IRS saying we owe more than $5,000 for unreported income from 2022. We've contacted Dawood about it and he said we never gave him the papers for it (we did as I still have all copies of documents). We then asked what should we do and if he can contact them on our behalf to either lower the amount owed or give us options. It's been months and crickets. He's been very unprofessional about this whole ordeal. We pay for his services but the services have been half-assed and his work has definitely gone down-hill. We will definitely no longer use him and I suggest you don't either. Or if you do, definitely go through your taxes with a fine tooth comb. Because I can almost guarantee you there are mistakes. After being referred to see Dawood and his team at TBC, by both my parents...I was excited to see what the tax process was all about. It's highly recommended that you schedule an appointment to see Dawood as he is a very busy and in demand tax preparer. Our appointment was 1 week out which gave my hubby and I just enough time to gather all of our tax documents. Once our appointment day arrived, it was interesting to the crowd in the waiting area of the small office. It goes to show how busy TBC truly is, which is a good sign. Dawood is so welcoming he feels like an old Uncle that you see once a year. He offered us coffee, water and refreshments, then started our process. I have been going to Mr. Khan for years. I was previously owning taxes the every year and I was very frustrated with filing my taxes. I always waited for the last minute. Now I look forward to doing my taxes. Mr. Khan is always professional, polite and quick and even gives some Sulaiman swag.. I am usually out of there within 30 minutes. Should deserve 0 stars. Got my taxes done here last year and received a notice from the State that it was done incorrectly and I am being assessed a penalty of over 1700.00. Took it back to Sulaiman Khan who said he'd take care of it but never did. Met with the manager Dawood Khan who said he would pay if it was their fault and he would be getting it resolved ASAP. Weeks pass and no response. When my father took the paperwork back to Sulaiman Khan, he threw it on the ground and threatened to call the cops. I wouldn't trust these unprofessional people with any of my finances...oh and Dawood of course will not pay the 1700.00 that is coming out of my hard earned paycheck. read more

I was a loyal customer for 5 years until I got a letter from the IRS. Apparently, even though I TOOK Sullu all my paperwork, he didn't include some of my earnings on my tax forms. When I took him the letter from the IRS to ask him what happened, he said he "thought it wasn't taxable income". Now I have to pay the IRS almost $1,000! Thank you sullu for your expertise! NOT!!!! You are NOT trustworthy! Find somewhere else to do your taxes, with someone who actually knows what they are doing and will stand behind their work. read more
