I called his number- Instead of texting me back saying hell call back he just wouldnt answer the phone. All their charges are too high compared to any American company offering the same for accredited investors. I wish I had an option of 0 star. Hiring them has been worst mistake. I contacted Sanjay in Feb end for my taxes. He quoted a price promptly and since it seemed ok I agreed. He asked me to make the payment which I did. Once he received the payment, I stopped getting any reply for numerous mails I sent him. I also couldn't reach him on phone. Everytime I called his office, I was told he is in a meeting. He didn't file my taxes before the final date and ended up taking an extension. Its June now and still my taxes have not been filed. When I tried to follow up, he has sent me calculations showing I need to pay more taxes when all other online tools including turbotax shows I should be getting a refund. Had to opt for SanjayTax as I was in hurry for an approaching deadline. Good thing was he completed my returns in few hours. However, he didnt get me more returns and didnt make use of wife's F1 status and tution fees paid. He just filed as a join return. Later, I got a IRS later for a mistake I had done with my W4. sanjaytax pro is very unprofessional in their services, he uses cheap labour, the guys who file taxes look & dress shady, they don't look like professionals, even if you experiment to go to this place once, and if you bounce back not to go again, he will use collecion agency behind you to get money from you for his cheap trash services. Even my friend went once with appointment, but sanjay was not on time & shady, so my friend immediately dumped him. Not sure why is he still doing this business, when so many bad reviews are on yelp already, this guy will use collection agency behind you & he will bite your credit history, which is such a pain for others. Yet again after trying to tell them to not draw the cheque issued as they don't deserve it. First thing the tax returns filed was wrong, it was 200% extra charges and 35% extra I have to pay for IRS for simple tax filing. I have called at least 10 times, emails about 30 times. Sanjay has lost touch with his customer since he cleared his CPA and got busy. Which I could understand considering that he needs to expand his business. But what I didn't expect was the amount of miscommunication, misunderstanding which will ensue after that. He has brought on sort of temporary people who help him in the tax season and sometimes Hima represents him. When I took appointment I was promised the entire tax filing for around $300 and without any change from my side, I kept getting invoice for balance payment for $450. On asking he started giving me break up of the fees, which I had no way of confirming or denying since they not posted anywhere on his website (they basically tell the price when you visit them). I had worked on J1 visa the previous year . I was asked to pay almost 2000$ , but found we found mistakes in the filing. I went again and asked Sanjay to verify and he found mistake in the taxes . First time I went to Sanjay tax pro they seemed very nice at the first instance. They took all my documents and the $110 payment too and told me that they would update me with the quote soon. Next day they gave me quote of $7000 as federal tax returns and told me that someone from their team will review it. After couple of days they gave me the quote of $995 directly from $7000. And said they had mistaken in calculating the taxes.How can someone make such huge mistake? The first time I waked in their office I told them that I had donated certain amount of money and they said it would not matter as I am on F1. Out of curiosity I went to a different tax agent to verify the amount. To my surprise they gave me a much higher quotes then $995. I verified both the tax returns and found out they Sanjay tax did not add the donation amount as well as dependent exemptions in one of the forms. When I called them and asked them to change it, first of all they took couple of days to reply. After three four days they did reply and said they had reviewed it and they don't think they were wrong. I also asked them for refund as I did not want to proceed with them anymore. They never replied to my emails. I wish I can give them 0 stars. Extremely disappointing and waste of time. Also they give you discount if you review them on yelp. Just now he sent us a vindictive email threatening to sue us because we gave our frank opinion. Unless you are in market for lawsuits, don't ever get near this business!! Where to start, Went once, decided never to go back again. Thats enough to say. Unprofessional and Unethical . College going Kids file your returns, We can do better than them using Turbo Tax. Appointments are farce. Very inefficient , takes long time even after some Kid picks up your Job. I call them unethical because they are not transperant with their prices and billing. They charge for every dam detail they fill.Please make sure you know the estimate of how much your returns filing cost. I hope they dont ask money to estimate the cost. I saw some customers asking how much Tax refund they get before they file with them , i think thats too much to ask for free. Sanjay can easily improve his business by conducting the business ethically and professionally.
