It was such a vibe, the staff was great, and the food was incredible! I ordered the caprese sammy and asked if they'd mind putting some of the blackberry balsamic from a different dish on it, and they were happy to try my weird request. It was fantastic! Though I'm sure it would have been just as good, as intended. The coffees and the treat from the bakery case were incredible also. They were super busy but the staff handled it with grace. I didn't see a single customer get upset about the wait either. They obviously knew what I just figured out, totally worth the wait! The place has an awesome global vibe, something I usually have to travel for but the way the staff greated us, and every other person, you'd think we were regulars. If you are in Soap Lake, or just driving by, you should absolutely check it out!

If there was some other option, it wasn't offered to us. The carrot cake cupcake was pretty good; the icing was better than the cake, which was on the dry side. The employees were interesting. They were overly friendly to the locals, and a bit cool and indifferent to everyone else. We had plenty of time to observe this pattern. Also, they all moved at the pace of a Siberian snail. But they do warn you about their lack of expediency both verbally, and by way of multiple signs that urge patrons to exercise patience. If I had to sum up the ambiance, I would say that it's eclectic, somewhat hippy-ish, and clean. If you have time in your hands, this is a good place to get a darn good sandwich!

Everything I ate was very delicious and really hit the stop in preparation for long days outside hiking and camping. Both mornings I ate the breakfast burrito with sausage. Very well prepared and filling, with some very yummy salsa on the side. I also tried two of their muffins, both were fantastic and came with optional icing. Very tasty sweet treat. Their coffee is also great! I had an iced latte one morning and a hot latte the next morning. Both were great. The workers inside were super friendly and welcoming. It's clearly popular with locals, as there were lines inside and at the drive thru. But service was very fast! The vibes inside were nice and cozy. After growing frustrated with the other coffee shop on the main drag, we searched for nearby options and were relieved to find this one open. Overall, Voltage Coffee House was a much better experience. You could actually taste the coffee in the drinks, which was a nice change. The gal who took our order was friendly and greeted us with a smile, which added a welcoming touch. The two baristas preparing the drinks seemed a bit disoriented and unsure with some of the orders, so I was pleasantly surprised when the drinks came out just right. The ambiance of the café felt a little scattered--it didn't seem like there was a consistent theme--but the space definitely has good bones and the potential to be something special. One small thing I appreciated was that they don't put the lids or straws on your drinks for you. It's a simple but thoughtful touch that I personally prefer. We'll definitely be back.
