The only shop like this in Encinitas. You can pay with debit card, for a fee. Shelves were well stocked, staff was friendly and place was cleaned. Large tv screens were on and so was the music. Currently there is 30% discount on everything. They do not have permit for delivery (yet). They thought my ID was fake simply because it's a 5 year old ID and the lamination is peeling up a bit, so they proceeded to peel up the lamination on my ID even worse AND denied me after all of that. Grew up in the industry and have been club hopping around California for the last 15+ years. ("clubs" is what us bay people refer to as a dispensaries) When i moved to san diego, i was stunned with how far I would have to drive to pick up some local live resin, while also realizing looking for ice wax around here was out of the questions Even down town, it's incredibly hard to find good quality hash. Once cake house finally open, not only was I beyond grateful to finally have a spot to pick up in my city but it also had all of my homies extracts from back home!! Bottom line - The options are endless here, with incredible, CLEAN brands to chose from. The service here is awful. The hours plainly state that they close at 9. It shows that time everywhere online. I showed up at 8:51 and they closed the doors in my face. Through the window I showed two employees that they close at 9 according to every public site. They shrugged and said it wasn't their problem. This is customer service 101 and they don't care. Liars. I bought 3 products for amount $100 to relieve pain. NONE of them helped. Not one. When I explained this to the manager and asked for credit or a refund, she said everyone is different. This is the worst dispensary I've ever been to all their products are organized by brand, and not by what they are, i.e. flour, wax, pre-roll, the staff has no idea what deals are going on very unhelpful stay behind the counter and stare at you. I never had issues until my last visit when the security guard at the front desk decided to take my drivers license. He suspected it was fake and when I told him that I had my dog waiting on n the car he told me that I would still have to wait for the police to show up. They waisted hours of my time to find out that my drivers license was real. The manager had no sympathy and could not have been less rude during the encounter. Do not recommend coming if you look under 30 and are in a time crunch. read more
