Stopped by The Canadian Brewhouse and tried the lemon pepper wings--they were fire! Not huge, but worth every bite. If you go during happy hour or wing days, you can score some really good deals. I also tried the fried pickles, and they were decent. The place itself is pretty big, so it's easy to find a spot to hang out. Overall, solid food and a good time if you're in the area. read more

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. There's plenty of parking. I've been trying different Canadian Brewhouse's around the city so it was great to visit this one. Staff was friendly and drinks were flowing. We had about 20 of us and service was efficient. Food was excellent - had the prime rib special and it was good. I saw others eating nachos and wings and burgers and they all looked really good. Would definitely come back here if I'm in the neighbourhood again. read more

We came here for Sunday brunch. We picked where we wanted to sit. Our waiter came over and took our Caesar drink orders, that's the Sunday special by the way!! We ordered 2 steak and eggs, 1 Eggs Benny. The waiter was very entertaining that made the wait for our food seem short. When the food arrived it was hot and Yummy!! Great service last night during flames game! I reserved a table the night before for our softball team. They give you free nachos , if you are part of CSSC. It was also cinco de mayo, but they didnt have any corona or tequila specials. Only Bud light, so they could improve on that. Went to "The Canadian Brewhouse" tonight with my family, and I will never dine there again. They messed up my order once by bringing me a regular size poutine, which is the size of a side dish. I ordered a large. (And for people who don't know, poutine is a Canadian classic, fries and cheese curds, smothered in gravy.) However once they brought me my actual order, I figured all would be good, oh how I was so wrong. The fries were luke-warm at best, the gravy was gross, and also luke-warm, and to top it all off, the cheese curds tasted as if you cut up a block of cheese you just took out from the fridge and just tossed it in there. It was terrible, and I will never return. The only reason this is two stars, is because the staff was nice. read more

I have visited this location 2 times and ordered through Skip as well. The 3 strikes you're out flag has now been thrown. In person, drinks are forgotten and in delivery, food items are forgotten or are half-assed. With 20 years in the hospitality industry and being someone who has owned my own restaurant, I get it when something is missed now and then...we're human and it happens. When negative experience after negative experience after negative experience occurs, I'd be a glutton for punishment to return. Dry Eggs Benedict with no hollandaise and an order of 2 bags of Iced tea on a hot day...and then only getting 2 cans for $6.00...unfortunate mistakes but ones that affect the customer. Cost of dining out is high these days and your consumer works hard for the money that they spend...the experience is everything. Good bye Brewhouse, not that it will mean much...there's others to take my place but please train your team to pay attention to detail or you may find more customers will not be returning. It's a shame too as you do have a good menu. ADDED 15 minutes later: I should have checked my remaining order prior to my review as I have never had a Quesadilla with no cheese. The falling apart of each piece was epic as there was 0 cheese holding the ingredients together. What a mess...off to get a spoon. read more

I am very pleased to report that the manager at this location has been corresponding with me and has gone overboard to resolve my complaint! He got back to me in a very timely manner and sorted all the issues I complained about. I will return to the Brewhouse - there will be one opening in my city next summer. I'm so sporty lady, love their sport decorations, and I saw the wall of pennies, I'd guess it may be $10,000! The food, I'd say Star 4.9. I had a small bowl of poutine and regular size of Caesar salad. Poutine is so yummy, and Caesar salad is good but a little watery. My husband had buffalo boneless wings and a Canadian burger. He enjoyed his meal, he love the wings, I took a piece of his wings... so delicious! We will come back, and I will try their burger or prime rib dinner. Yummy! read more

I order from here and the food was a little pricey but i thought whatever my work is expensive but its great food, until i received my food. The food was all frozen store bought products with no quality what so ever and it tasted so badly that my wife and i couldnt even eat it anymore. $58 for a over cooked steak sandwich that wasnt a sandwich and a burger that looked like it was run over by a car 4 times before they fired it on the grill and tasted like the gravel that it probably came off of before they received it. i definitely will never recommend this place to anyone and i advise you to stay away unless you want to have your stomach turning at every bite. read more

So apparently the waitresses must walk to the Bow River to get your water. Love the Brewhouse but this is my third time at the new location on 36st NE Service SUCKS !!! Waited 27 minutes to get our water when it finally came they only brought one when two were ordered. If your going to ask people to seat themselves have menus on the table cause it takes them 15 minutes to realize you are even there then another 15 minutes to take your order this is NOT the place to come on a 60 minute lunch break.. I must say I will NOT be back to this location anytime soon :( faster to drive to harvest hills location and back then fo wait for water and food at Northgate location.. read more
