Decent place. Some of the food is excellent and some average. Their burgers and tuna poke are excellent. Great selection of mass produced beers and they are cold. Not a lot of craft beer though. The service is usually pretty good. I find later at night has more of a night club feel than a sports pub. Later at night it is usually a lot of fun but noisy. I would go here more for the lively atmosphere later at night rather than coming here for supper. They also have lots of screens to watch the game on. read more

This is normally a decent place to go. However it does depend on who is cooking and mixing drinks to your experience as it's not always the same. Burgers are the best here. I would not recommend the Fish and chips. Seems to be super over fried and over cooked both times I have tried. Drinks. I would stick to beer. The mix drinks are a coin flip. Usually great food and pretty good service. Today we got our drinks and I finished a schooner and the waitress still hadn't taken our order. I watched get trot around and ring through nine people. Bad luck for her that they all paid separate, but she wasn't even hanging around those tables either, she kept going back into the kitchen. Pretty sure she could have taken our order at some point. Due to a bad experience before we were invited to give it a second chance by the manager (TY) at the Canadian brew house ..we were sitting at a great spot were we could see all tvs..they even change one of the sports for us ..Amanda our waitress was excellent and did not miss a beat our appetizer was steak bites,alapeno poppers,cactus chips , supreme tatters...and we're all excellent...we order 3 prime rib dinners with the sides we requested and were cook to perfection 2 burgers one with mac&cheese..and one with the donaire poutine ..they even Catter to us regarding the non alcoholic beer which was really important for us ..I have to say this experience was amazing this time around..they went above and beyond..very happy with my experience will defenily be returning ..thank you to TY (manager) and to all your staff to make our evening a Great one read more

We had heard about the brunch there, so we went in and had the chicken n waffles. It was FANTASTIC! The service was really great too. The chicken was amazing all in its own, the you add the waffle Awesome! It comes with an egg on top and bacon a hash browns too! WOW IMPRESSED! read more

I wish I could give the place four stars. SO many tv's, seemingly decent service (I would say sometimes above average), very interesting and diverse menu. Enjoyed the food each time I was there (though the pizza was overhyped - I make a far superior pizza from scratch at home). However, that fourth star will remain off the table until the owners of this franchise understand that the goal horn they set off during Flames/Oilers games (that is, if they score), is WAY too loud. It's easily too loud to pass any OH&S inspections. There is a decibel limit that cannot be exceeded without people in the general area requiring hearing protection. Every single staff member I have talked to has mirrored my concern. I will be back, but I will ensure it's not on an Oilers/Flames game day. I have edited this to update the fact that they have changed their parking lot entrance so it's WAY more safe now. I imagine the City of Red Deer had something to do with it as well, but anyway, that's a good move. read more

Brother and I went here for supper. The lasgne bites apitizer were recommend and we're good. After them our meals were a bit disapointing. The brothers steak was OK, but it the stuff that came with it was oddly done. The salad was mainly iceberg lettuce packed tightly into a bowl with a few other items layered on top. The mushrooms were also in there own little bowl. Which along with the steaksause and the salad dressing means he has a plate with 4 individual bowls on it. My butter chicken was bland and came in a large tower of bowls. The Nan bread that came with it was dry and tasteless. My fiancé was really excited to take me here as he had come earlier closer to when it opened for drinks after work with his buddies. We came on a Friday night and sat at a booth by the bar. It was really busy which was great. The menu items are written so hilariously! We ordered a greek salad to split and I had the house salad and he has pizza. Everything tasted good and we had a couple drinks. The only bad side is that the whole night we were rolling around feeling like death. Figured it must have been from the greek salad as that was the only thing we both had together. Maybe the greens weren't fully washed :S read more

Hmmm I actually really enjoy my visits here. Not much in the way of entertainment but an abundance of tables and tvs can keep you occupied on game nights. I've had good luck with my meals and steaks have been cooked great as well. I like that they also have my sesame steak sauce as well. I personally have not had a poor service issue. Sat at bar once and had amazing service and other times in booths I could complain either. Hopefully they keep it up! Dec. 15/17. It's been a while since I was here and today I ordered the special prime rib medium rare. Mashed spuds were good. Veggies ok but cooked good. Prime rib was below par indeed. Both in cut and it was over cooked. Waitress was friendly but it took a while to take my order and a long while to get the bill. She did check on the meal but I neglected to voice my opinion. This was in all honestly the WORST BURGER I had in my entire life. I wish I would have taken a picture of the black puck that got delivered to my door. I honestly was laughing because I thought I it was a joke. I ordered the Canadian burger last night for my birthday. And legit was laughing at this black patty delivered to me. In awe I was shook and thought of course. Happy birthday kid. Covid birthday. Black puck burger seems to fit right into the mix. I honestly thought That whoever is packaging skip the dishes at Canadian brew house seen this black patty and thought "hell ya. This is totally fine this is gunna be so fricken good ...They won't even notice". LOL have some pride in your jobs. covid 19 has impacted every single one of us. Been here a few times. I've liked everything I've had with the exception of the burger. It tastes, to me, like the spray the meat with a smoke flavor or something. It is very overpowering. The other menu items I've had have been great. The club sandwich was real good. The pulled pork one is also tasty. Service has been good but I'm usually there with a large group. read more

This restaurant just opened in this location and we've been there twice so far and it was very busy both times. It's a sports bar slash pub atmosphere. The service was great both times and speedy. Our only disappointment stems from the fact that on both occasions our food was excessively greasy, to the point that we almost felt sick afterwards. This was especially true of the starter calamari and fish and chips main. We also tried their signature Halifax Donair and the sauce was very runny so the sandwich was on the dry side overall. We'd like to try this place again so we might update this review accordingly but as of right now, unless you're really hungry and craving a little grease, I'd say skip this place. read more

The food is usually good and the beer is really great on tap... if you can get one. Basically most of the servers here shouldn't be working in a job that requires them to interact with people. There are a couple of good servers/bartenders but most of them are slow, forgetful and rude. I would come here more often but it seems like it's more catered to kids who don't care about the service. read more

Went to their lobster-fest today. It was to start at 6:PM so I called at 5 to see what time would be good to show up. I was told the sooner the better. They can seat 150 and sold 130 tickets. When I inquired if there was a section for the lobster-fest I was told no, you need to show up asap....they wouldn't be turning away people showing up for drinks after work. WTF???? You've basically sold out your restaurant and haven't reserved seating? So we show up shortly after 5 to see some "reserved signs" on some tables. I assumed they were for the lobster-fest and was quickly told no, some people called ahead to reserve seating. Again, WTF. So just before 5:30 our waitress shows up to say that her manager said it was okay to serve us before 6. Do you think they were worried about 130 disgruntled lobster-fest ticket-holders? We said okay and were promptly brought our Caesar salad along with the 2 free "Alexander Keith's beer". Since we showed up at 5 and my hubby ordered a beer and I ordered some wine, I asked the waitress to put the beer in the fridge "so it would be cold" when we were ready to drink it. Really, did I have to ask her that? So our lobster arrives (nice presentation) and I ask for some lemon. I love lemon in the butter. Well the kitchen staff went way overboard with the garlic in the butter. I got about a 1/4 cup of butter with about 3 cloves of garlic. Unfortunately all I could taste was the garlic, not the lobster. Good idea with the lobster-fest, but the kitchen definitely needs to tone down the garlic. read more

We usually have a great time when we come here. However the last wing night we went to, the bouncer at the door was a total dick. There was lots of tables but they all said reserved on them. We put our name on the waiting list and then were told we could have 2 of the tables because they were reserved for people getting there At 9pm... It was 6:10. So we got our table and waited for our friends to show up. 3 of them got there and were told by Mr. I take my job way too seriously, that only 1 person could go in to see if we had a table, the other 2 would have to wait outside. Obviously we already told them we had a table in the back. Anyways, service was pretty slow and we witnessed a guy running to the bathroom with his hand over his mouth, problem was he was running to the woman's bathroom. So he threw up in the hall way and then took off outside. 10 minutes later he was sitting back at the bar drinking. Maybe the worlds greatest door man should have caught a guy booking outside with vomit on his face, or maybe stopped homtrying to come back in.
