This is a great pub with a good staff. I visit often when in town for work and my hotel is close. Iykyk. What prompted me to write was an encounter I had today with a staff member. I was sitting outside and he came out and asked if I needed another drink, when I said yes please, I followed it up with I have had a rough day. Don't know why I said it, maybe because I needed to vent. He returned with my drink and a kind gesture from the heart. I saw it as a quintessential part of the hospitality business. He saw a customer who needed to be heard and lifted up in the moment and delivered with kindness and empathy. Merci beaucoup; Viva la France! read more

We were staying down the street at the Marriott Meridian and looking for an easy place to eat dinner. We stopped in this pub and had a very nice meal. My husband had a barbecue sandwich plate which he said was very good. I was in the mood for a hamburger so got the bacon cheeseburger with fries. Very good sized portion. Our server was attentive and checked on us. This place isn't fancy, it's a place to come and feel comfortable. And how great was it for us who live in greater Tampa Bay, FL that there was a signed Steven Stamkos TB Lightning jersey on the wall right next to our table. An English speaking staff, from the US, Australia, & England who manage to stay friendly and helpful even when they're slammed. A decent choice of bottled and tap beers and a menu that runs the gamut of salads, burgers, nachos, wings, chili, and poutine. Outstanding food? Fine spot to gather for a drink before going elsewhere. The bartenders are friendly and multilingual (like many in Europe). The TV show various sporting events. Just what's available at the time. I don't eat here becasue I get plenty of American//Canadian bar food at home. sound seems to compund here, it gets loud with nly a few visitors. i see it as more of a bar than pub. read more

This really shouldn't be posted as a sports bar. Only a few TVs. All playing rugby. No premiere league soccer games. Very limited food menu. No cider. Server didn't know how to make a French 75... even tho it was the "cocktail of the week" (I heard him tell another customer). Server was nice, which is the only reason I have it more than 1 star. read more

The IPA beer was great. If you just want that ok. Food was gross and I couldn't eat. At $18 a burger, I hated to leave hungry. Smoky, beery smell just gross for the price. Try Beer Station for good beer and burger. read more

All you need from a British style pub. I get here each time I visit Paris since it's next door to the Meridien Etoile Hotel. Good assortment of beer on tap. It's also a local hangout for expats. Always sports on the many TVs. Soccer, cycling, hockey, etc. I've eaten twice and the food is also decent pub food. Last time I had the chicken masala with rice. This time I had the blue cheese burger. Excellent. Done to perfection with good fries too. Great ambiance and a really nice waitress. I had the pastrami sandwich and it was nothing like I expected based on the reviews of the place. It was made of thinly sliced dry pieces of meat that looked like store bought pastrami as opposed to thick juicy succulent slices of homemade pastrami. This pub was absolutely wonderful. The owners and staff are very personable and welcoming, they will take care of your needs very well. This was one of the very few places I was able to get ranch dressing on my salad! They obviously serve any drink imaginable, even hot tea! Conveniently located near the convention center. The Canadaian Embassy pub had the typical pub atmosphere. They have Ciney, Murphy's, Sam Adams, Heineken, and a few others on tap. They have two extra cold taps kept at -2 degrees. You can see frost on the taps. Plenty of TVs to watch events. read more

This place is SPOT ON. The food (maple bacon chicken wings and pulled pork purine) was amazing. The service was great (especially considering that a mad rush of people came in for the PSG-Lyon game). Upper level is a full-size, open and relaxing space. And it's easily accessible via périphérique, Hyatt Recency Paris Étoile, and Boulevard Pereire.
