It was such a fun and memorable way to spend the evening together. The ambiance was beautiful, the cocktails were great, and the candle-making experience was so much fun. There were definitely a few moments of decision overload as I was trying to figure out exactly what I wanted, and the team did such a great job stepping right in to help and guide us. They were so welcoming and attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. My boyfriend was so impressed with the experience that he was telling his family about it afterward, and I was just as impressed. We both had such a great time, and I'm really glad we chose Glassnote for our anniversary. I would absolutely recommend it for a date night or special occasion!

When you arrive, you are greeted by a cocktail menu with many great options that make it hard to choose. They also had a build your own old fashioned menu which we obviously had to try and ended up being a highlight. For the candle making itself, you start by going to a wall full of different scents. The staff tell you the proper way to smell it and what you should be looking for in a candle. I honestly learned so much. Once we picked our scents, our server then walked us through the candle making process. She was very attentive and explained everything, making it really easy to follow. After the candles were made, we had to wait about 30 minutes to let them settle, which gave us time to chat and try another cocktail. In total it took about 2 hours. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to cost. It was pretty pricey to make a single candle, which you are paying for the experience as well. However, something to keep in mind when planning your next date night. Overall, we had a fun time making the candles (and cocktails) and I will be recommending Glassnote to my friends for a unique night out.

I am not even talking about the AI bot, the chat is a biggest joke. I love candles. And,…read morehaving been pretty much inside my own home for over a year now (with boys and dogs), I'm using scented candles in my home daily. I purchase local candles; I have a candle subscription that delivers candles from small, local candle shops throughout the country; I sometimes pick up a candle or two when I'm grocery shopping. Again, I love candles. So, when I received a buy 3, get 3 coupon as well as a 40% off coupon for Yankee Candle, I decided to venture to the mall for the first time in over a year. Masks are required at the mall and for the most part were being used properly. Yankee Candle is a small store but it also wasn't busy when we were in, so we felt entirely comfortable. They have many, many varieties of candles from seasonal scents to year long lovelies. Their large, single wick, jar candles have a burn time of 110-150 hours and are roughly $30/each. Between the two coupons, I was able to get 7 large jar candles for just over $100. Which definitely felt like a deal given the long burn time. They also have room sprays, scented hand sanitizer, fragrance spheres (jars you put in a room which will add fragrance to the room, no burning necessary), and all sorts of cute seasonal accessories. They even have a personalized label printer, where you are able to simply bring in your phone with the image you'd like to have placed on the candle and they'll print it out for a personalized candle. I'm currently enjoying a Garden Hideaway scent (lovely and floral) while I type this and dream of spring. While I prefer local, soy candles. My trip to Yankee Candle made for a fun change of pace and I can't say I'm disappointed with the resulting scents swirling in my home!

It was intimidating walking in and seeing all the gorgeous works but everyone there was incredibly welcoming and that extended into the Hand Building I class that I took. The instructor, Lila, was engaging, exciting, and incredibly knowledgeable (and she brought in fresh bread one week!). The class was a touch more free-range and self-directed than I expected but in the end I think that was really for the best - it pushed me to dive into my own creativity (what little there is) and in the end I will be walking away with a handful of fun pieces. I absolutely intend to come back for more classes and potentially signing up for a membership. Highly, highly recommend stopping by - check out the wares, support local, and maybe even sign up for your own class!
