The staff tell you the proper way to smell it and what you should be looking for in a candle. I honestly learned so much. Once we picked our scents, our server then walked us through the candle making process. She was very attentive and explained everything, making it really easy to follow. After the candles were made, we had to wait about 30 minutes to let them settle, which gave us time to chat and try another cocktail. In total it took about 2 hours. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to cost. It was pretty pricey to make a single candle, which you are paying for the experience as well. However, something to keep in mind when planning your next date night. Overall, we had a fun time making the candles (and cocktails) and I will be recommending Glassnote to my friends for a unique night out.

I purchase local candles; I have a candle subscription that delivers candles from small, local candle shops throughout the country; I sometimes pick up a candle or two when I'm grocery shopping. Again, I love candles. So, when I received a buy 3, get 3 coupon as well as a 40% off coupon for Yankee Candle, I decided to venture to the mall for the first time in over a year. Masks are required at the mall and for the most part were being used properly. Yankee Candle is a small store but it also wasn't busy when we were in, so we felt entirely comfortable. They have many, many varieties of candles from seasonal scents to year long lovelies. Their large, single wick, jar candles have a burn time of 110-150 hours and are roughly $30/each. Between the two coupons, I was able to get 7 large jar candles for just over $100. Which definitely felt like a deal given the long burn time. They also have room sprays, scented hand sanitizer, fragrance spheres (jars you put in a room which will add fragrance to the room, no burning necessary), and all sorts of cute seasonal accessories. They even have a personalized label printer, where you are able to simply bring in your phone with the image you'd like to have placed on the candle and they'll print it out for a personalized candle. I'm currently enjoying a Garden Hideaway scent (lovely and floral) while I type this and dream of spring. While I prefer local, soy candles. My trip to Yankee Candle made for a fun change of pace and I can't say I'm disappointed with the resulting scents swirling in my home!

On Christmas week. I got it done, it had been a stressful month for me personally and you throw that on top of it it was just a lot.. but no complaints on the sectional, I love it. I just wish they gave you more time for pick up. I had to wait 3 months, and they gave me 3 days. Don't choose delivery unless you're all for the convenience. They charge based on how expensive your order is. My sectional was over $2000 and they wanted $270 for delivery...pass. I rented a uhaul and picked it up no problem. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when I went into the store to checkout counter stools. I found some that I liked but went home to make sure that's what I wanted. I ordered them online the next day. Then I got a text saying I could call about my order details. I called (this was Sunday) and they told me I could pickup anytime next week Monday after 2pm. I went there that next week Monday at 3pm to pick them up and they told me the stools weren't there and that they aren't even in the truck yet. I told them that someone over the phone told me I could get them today. She said no, you'll get a text saying they're ready for pickup and have to schedule a time. I was real irritated. Waste of my time. Blew off 2 separate plans to go do that after work. Then of course 2 days later is when I get that text. I went back in there, pickup was no issue. We got home and had to assemble the chair legs etc and one of the legs was missing a "foot". It sucked but we had a quick solution. Then I notice the feet are scratching my floor so bad. So... we pried all the feet out of the legs and put pads on instead. Problem solved. I rate a 3 because the stuff I've bought from them is nice quality- I love both the stools and sectional. But the foot issue with the stool really irked me and so did the pickup miscommunication. I plan to order a new area rug from them too soon so I hope I don't have any more issues.

I paid the $100 for delivery and the day before delivery I was told it was not ready and I had to schedule out another 1-2 weeks. I requested a refund to my delivery fee as their part of the deal was not upheld. I was told to call customer service where they went back and fourth with me for 20 minutes saying all they could give me was $23 off. I've never dealt with such poor customer service.
