Sarah was the only one on site this day August '22, but welcomed me in and offered me a drink of water. She had a few pieces she was finishing up at the end of her workday, worked as we just chatted. Learning i also worked in clay, she handed me a pinch to play with. (its a potter thing) The studio clay is a rich red. A mostly local clay from the area. The work is outstanding yet humble (like she is) with several color schemes. The place is out in the rural...a rocky drive back and forth up a hill. a great little shop and studio. please visit.

Beautiful pottery teapots, ornaments and decorative dishes. Exquisitely hand-dyed silk wraps and tunics. Hand-carved wood items and pretty quilts. This place even had a vault door open which made it interesting. After asking, the story was told that it used to be a bank until the man who ran it, took all the money and left town never to be seen again. If you want to buy a pampered gift for a friend or yourself, this is the place to go.

He then was offended I would use it actually for cooking, And proceeded to call me a glutton because I'm not slim like my friend. Wow! We were both taken aback ...Amazing ! I'm still offended. I'm overweight but really, it was out of the blue, uncalled for and highly offensive.
