Do you renovate and raise the prices to cover the costs or do try to keep costs down and keep the prices down? For this location it's starting to feel really worn. I contacted the company that hosts the trivia, PubStumpers, but they seemed more concerned with persuading me that the pay-to-win mechanic was acceptable, rather than listening to my objection. The trivia IS fun, but now it is only fun if you don't mind that a game of skill and chance is now about skill, chance, and how much extra money you are willing to pay. Very disappointing for trivia enthusiasts.
