GG is extremely kind, conscientious, detailed, and trustworthy. I recently hired her to visit my two adult male cats while I was gone for a weekend. She came over for an introduction a few days prior and took very detailed notes including what temperature I'd like to keep the home at, vet information, emergency contact, etc. She even offers services to check the mail, adjust blinds, and/or clean the cat box. Even though I was out of cell service for my trip, she consistently and reliably sent me pictures and updates with every visit. GG loves animals. It was clear from the moment I met her and she met our cat. She is very trustworthy and conscientious, in addition to being responsive and professional in her interactions with her clients. She does a great job caring for our senior kitty, Charlie, who requires daily medication. Charlie is a very social cat who thrives on human interaction and affection. The average cat sitter spends about 10 minutes feeding, watering, and scooping poop before leaving for the next house. If kitty is lucky he may get a couple of pats on the head. That's not enough for Charlie. I love that GG takes the time to cuddle and play with him, so that his needs for attention are closer to being met and we come home to a relaxed, happy kitty instead of a traumatized, neurotic one. After doing quite a bit of research on pet sitters, and ultimately being dismayed at what I found, I was giving up on who or what company would watch my 4 cats while my family and I were out of the country for a week. The top recommend companies for pet sitting were a joke. The cost for a quick visit to feed, water and clean the litter boxes was ridiculous, especially so when the visit was only 15min. That seems to be the competitions agreed upon alloted time when providing these services. I was not happy to have to pay a company 2-3 times per day, to come out and ensure all my cats were safe, happy and loved on. This was our first trip away from the pets and it's tough picking and trusting someone to properly care for ones pets. I saw GG's yelp ad, and it was bare of all reviews, bare of customers testimonials and that didn't put me off because about her ad, her emails and phone calls in regards to the services I required made me feel very comfortable, very at ease and very sure that my cats were in good, compassionate hands. GG's prices for her visits are lower than the big services offered by companies and she stays and plays with your pets for nearly an hour. I received emails with daily photo's of my cats, even videos of them playing and it just made me feel great to know they were getting attention. GG was great, she kept in touch with me over the couple of months before our trip after we reserved her schedule and she understood how stressed we were packing right after Christmas for a trip out of the country with our baby and how stressed we (I) was to leave my cats behind. The daily photos and videos really made me relax on vacation and just enjoy our time on the island. I recommend her to anyone considering an in home pet sitter, I won't be using anyone else for my cats. GG was very professional and yet had been human and relate to us an a personal level. No corporate coldness because her business reflects what pet sitting should be. She confirmed meeting times and came out twice before our trip to get to know our cats and that was very appreciated on our end. I just can't say enough. Thank you GG!! GG was great! We went away for a week and she cared for our cats that are 14 and 11. We had her come by every other today to check on the food and water, change their litter, and gave them loves. GG was absolutely amazing! We have two kitties who are under a year and we were extremely nervous about leaving them for the first time! GG eased this by first coming by for a meet and greet with us and the cats (naturally our girls loved her right away). My husband and I were away for an extended 3 weeks between vacation and work and were concerned about boarding our pets (a Siamese and Beagle), so we instead looked at having someone come to our home and we found GG. She came for an initial meet and greet and we talked through everything. We felt very comfortable with her right from the start. The Cat Lady Pet Sitting service worked very well for my cats. Not only did G.G. provide basic sitting services for my cats, she also provided them with alot of TLC. In addition to the basic stuff, G.G.'s visits included using a laser pointer and strings for the cats to play with, petting them, and giving them plenty of attention so they didn't get so lonely while I was gone. I recently moved to Roseville and was in need of a pet sitter for my cat Kobe. I jumped on Yelp and fell in love with G.G.'s website, especially the video where she dressed up as the cartoon character Sylvester and visited the dog park! We met and I decided during the visit to choose G.G. because of her upbeat attitude and obvious love of animals. We made arrangements for her to care for Kobe, along with handling my mail, then and there. I left for 3 days shortly thereafter and G.G. took care of Kobe and everything went great. She sent me daily texts to let me know how Kobe was doing and even though he wouldn't come out of hiding (he's such a scaredy cat!) she made sure to check under my bed to talk with him and see that he was okay. It may take a few more visits but I'm sure that soon Kobe's curiosity will get the better of him and he'll emerge from hiding and then he and G.G. will become best buddies! read more
