Rachele is absolutely amazing! We have been using her as a pet sitter for several months now and feel totally comfortable leaving our kitties knowing that she will come take care of them. She was super sweet and easy to talk to, and the cats instantly warmed to her (they're shy) and even felt comfortable eating with her just a few feet away. She always responds quickly, and I completely trust that she goes to visit the cats because she's easy to reach (the first time she even emailed us to tell us she had just been to see them) and posts pictures of the pets on her blog every night! I have had the pleasure of working with Rachele for years now. She has consistently come to my house to watch after my dog Louie too many times to count. I used to travel out of town monthly and she was ALWAYS available. I don't know too many people you can count on to the extent you can with Rachele. There was even a glitch with my self locking door and Rachele saved the day again! I haven't even mentioned that I know there isn't a person out there that could take better care of my dog than she ... me included and let me say Louie is a loved and cared for dog. Rachele is awesome. We had been referred on multiple occasions by my SIL to her services and we finally decided to give it a shot! We have now used her services three different times and each time was handled with grace and professionalism. I stopped working with Pawsitive Attention for the last time about a year ago. The positives included the facts that she really loved my dogs and my dogs love her. Rachele also came through for me on short notice to walk or sit when my mom died and when Unexpected things came up at work. The negatives: Preface: I personally witnessed most events or she told me herself. 1. Criticized my dogs treats because they were made in China 2. Ate a box of scones from my counter when watching the dogs during my trip, apologized and offered to buy more. No permission to eat my food or go through my kitchen in enough detail to find the food or scrutinize the pet treats. 3. Told me she allowed my former stray schnauzer mix to poo in the ivy in my condominium garden paths so she didn't have to pick it up. 4. Instructed said schnauzer to hop on my $3K custom sofa to put his lease on. I only allow him if I am on the couch and can clean paw prints asap. 5. I gave permission for another walker for a few days while Rachelle was ill. About 3 months later a stranger my dogs seemed to know was startled to meet me. I am writing this review because I just met a girl at my new dog daycare. She recognized my dogs because she, too, was given my key access to my home without permission. I feel really violated! Lucky me she seems to work with nice folks who didn't break in to my place. Pawsitive Attention will love your pets. Make sure you give ground rules about other people coming in your home and her accountabilities on their actions , and which areas she is allowed to access. Rachele was our caretaker. I have 4 cats, 3 of which are elderly. She did a phenomenal job in making sure everyone had their meds at the appropriate time. Having had my cats as long as I have, I know certain things my cats do to show they're not happy not having their human there. When I used Pawsitive Attention, I saw almost none of these. This told me she didn't just do the basic, bare-minimum "throw the food down & go" routine that friends or some care takers do, she actually spent time petting and caring for them. Pawsitive Attention and most importantly the owner Rachele is amazing. I am a very protective "dog mom" and have a hard time trusting people to take care of my "kids." As soon as I met Rachele a couple of years ago I knew I could trust her. So did my dogs, even the older more skeptical one that usually took a long time to warm up to people. I originally found Pawsitive Attention when I broke my kneecap and needed help getting my dog to the vet for cancer treatments and tests.Rachele was her "taxi driver" a couple of times. It was a huge lifesaver until I could drive again. Unfortunately my girl didn't survive the cancer after a year long fight, but knowing she was in such loving, caring, and safe hands when I couldn't get her to the vet was a huge relief. Since then we've hired Rachele for dog walks and pet-sitting for us (both before and after we lost our older girl), and she's always been amazing. She managed to walk our older frail girl and our young hyperactive nutty dog at the same time, which I only attempted once and felt like it was impossible. Probably one of the most uncomfortable phone conversations. The woman I spoke to seemed short, agitated and just rude. She seemed very dry from the moment she said hello.This was my first time using a Petsitter and I couldn't even make it past the phone call. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but these businesses and owners seriously need to learn customer service. I love my pets dearly and the attitude she had from me telling her I felt nervous even resulting to a stranger was awful. Im generally a peaceful person and said only a few words to her genuinely before she cut me off with whatever was frustrating her. Did not make me feel confident she could sympathize and care for my animals the way I would hope. Judging by all her great reviews, this may have just been an off day for her so I hope she reads this and takes it forward in her business. I could not recommend Pawsitive Attention Pet Services more. I came across Rachel accidentally when we had just adopted our three cats. We had brought them home two days earlier and they were very sick and required multiple medications. She not only took excellent care of them but she communicated regularly with us to reassure our worries while away. She also is very reliable about posting pictures daily of your pets so you can see what your guys are up to. Every time Rachel takes care of our pets she goes above and beyond by cleaning up any pet mess and anything else she notices in your absence. One time when we were away we had forgotten a video we planned to share with the friends we were visiting but we forgot it at home. She picked it up for us and spent all night trying to send it to us. I am very conservative with my ratings and don't think I have ever rated someone at five stars.
