Pretty disappointed. This has been my go-to Dispensary for almost 2 years now. However, I recently wrecked my vehicle and have had to walk there. Well as a single mom with a 2-year-old, I usually place a pick-up order and get it at the window with my cash and ID ready. Just like you would pick up alcohol at the grocery store with your child - today I was denied service and told that whoever did that previously, should not have. Looks like I won't be returning here. Obnoxious! I walked in wearing a mask, over my nose and mouth like they require i have zero issue with this policy. While I was being helped by the woman with the half shaved head she said something about how she's never seen a mask like mine before and started pressing me about what filter it has etc. It's a mask and furthermore I don't know. It's something my mom bought for me. So whatever not a big deal. Then she tells me my total and I go to the ATM to take cash out, she tells me "I put some freebies in your bag". I tipped like I always do every time I go there and leave. Then I get home and saw the "freebies" she was talking about was a dirty mask that she took upon herself to put in my bag passive aggressively because she didn't like my mask. Listen, If you had an issue with what I was wearing when I walked in just say that. I would have been happy to use a different mask. The fact that she had to be passive aggressive about it while she was packaging my weed and sneaking in a different mask is the reason you are losing my business. read more

Here is how she has helped me: Any of you who know me may remember from previous conversations, that I would very much like to hire Ms. Peyton, due both to her professionalism and her charm. Her eloquence is equally refreshing as she often has wonderful recommendations for cannabis that would meet both my recreational and medicinal needs. Because of her advice, my experience with cannabis as a pain management tool would have been impossible, without her. The arthritis in my spine thanks her for that, especially. I have known Ms. Peyton in a professional capacity, as a customer for over one year now. Nothing insubstantial, both the sale and the conversation keep me coming back to CDC, and I live next door to three much closer cannabis stores. In conclusion, Ms. Peyton's professionalism has made my cannabis experience, especially as concerns pain management, a much better one. I have enjoyed learning from her and letting her heal my back! I loved this place. It was just down the road from my house, the staff was always friendly, the selection was good, and their prices were okay. Today, I bought a cartridge on their recommendation, only to discover about an hour later that it was defective. I returned with my receipt to exchange the cartridge and was told that "because of Covid" they could not exchange or refund me. I have been told repeatedly at multiple dispensaries to keep my receipt in the event of getting a defective cartridge to exchange them. As recently as last week, a dispensary in N. Portland reminded me when I purchased one. There is no logical reason why Covid should prevent them from exchanging a defective product. Your inability to get your money back on it should not be passed to your customers. My household have been regular customers for the last two years, but that ends today. I suggest if you want to support a local dispensary in the Tigard area, you patronize Juan and his crew at the Magic Castle. They know how to take care of their customers. When weed became legal, this is the first dispensary I went to and it is still the one I go to now first. I like the staff which are always friendly, helpful and informative on the products they provide. The prices, I think are really reasonable for the quality of those products. AND, they are one of the only dispensaries locally that give discounts to Veterans and to the "OG" smokers, Seniors. It's a win for me. read more

I thought it seemed a little strange that I only looked down at my phone to check in so I can claim points for discounts, before I knew it he was asking for the money and the product was already in the paper bag before I even saw or smelled the jar! As soon as I got home I was excited to check out my new product and much to my surprise I now know why the bud-tender was so quick to get me out of the door... now I am used to seeing a couple little stems off the Bud however, not a fucking tree branch! I've been to every dispensary around, used to buy a ton of flower, cartridges, dabs (ECHO big plus!!!), and being an older gentleman, now edibles (smoking is too hard on my old lungs considering the volume i need to consume for desired effects). The CDC is the best dispo around beaverton/tigard as far as i'm concerned, friendly, knowledgeable staff, competitive pricing, various discounts should they apply, and tax included in their pricing (math is hard mmkay.) On top of this, the owner (or manager, who knows, dude around my age that is occasionally there) actually inquires with customers about their product, what should be stocked, why people choose what they choose, etc, and to me personally tends to cater to what I want. CDC reminds me of dispensaries before commercial interests took over. They care about their customers, and their employees - as observed from a customer's perspective. Great selection of flower and very friendly people. They have a very nice selection of cartridges, but don't always have a very good selection of the lower priced ones. If there was a complaint, it's that they need a bigger inventory of 1gr. cartridges for Mojave and Bezel, not e everyone cam afford the Select brand. They do have sales and the vendor day is nice if you go early enough to get a free battery with a cartridge purchase. read more

WOW. This place used to be my favorite dispensary, so it's so sad to see how far they've fallen. I used to come here all the time since this was one of the only places to do an OLCC discount, but for some reason they just really didn't want to give it to me. This terrible excuse for a budtender tried to tell me that I can't show my license on my phone even though I've been doing that since they started the discount. Secondly, he was extremely condescending and wouldn't even show remorse for the inconvenience. You've literally seen me so many times dude. Constant parking issues. Hard to get in & out during peak drive times. Guys at storage lot yell and are rude. No friendly smiles when we walk in anymore. Not one female budtender in the year we've been going and quality has really fallen. Last straw was when we noticed pricing go up by $30 a quarter !!!! within just a cpl days of our last visit. I asked about it, they shrugged and offered no explanation. I was floored and haven't been back. There's no excuse for price gouging. read more

My boyfriend was denied service during a pandemic because he had a hole in his ID (he lost his wallet) it's the law to be lenient with people right now THE DMV IS CLOSED. So of course he told them they are horrible people so I tried to go in over 2 weeks later and they DENIED ME SERVICE AND 86d ME this is discrimination I feel harassed these people are walking devils I have ptsd from being in the army and I have a medical card I will be talking to my lawyer and report them to the better business bureau I'll will do everything in my power to sue them. I didn't not one thing wrong not one word said the people there deserves the worse things in life to happen to them they are the reason covid is here. There shop is fucking DISGUSTING AND GRIMEY. Excellent dispensary. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the options available to you and they always try to get you the most value. There is very limited parking but a bus stop is located only 100ft away. I'd recommend going during non peak hours. Co-located with a storage place (not the only weed store/storage locker in Pdx- an interesting business combo, indeed), this isn't a fancy store - oh, no! This is a great ma and pa style place with some young Marijuana aficionados working the counter. Mellow vibe, no hype, no fancy decor. Within 45 minutes of closing you may encounter a wait to buy, but their specials for repeat clients are sweeet and I like the other patrons. Some of the funniest conversations I've participated in this year have been while waiting in the lobby with seriously high patrons wafting sublime witticisms whilst waiting to get more 'inspiration'. What those conversations were, I can't recollect, lol. Lately they're carrying flower below 20/21%, but bud size is decent and you can earn punches to get up to half off (up to $100 purchase). The tenders are all knowledgeable, meaning they've really smoked, vaped, ingested, dabbed a vast majority of the product they sell. Overall, my only complaint is the lack of higher end (PUN TOTALLY INTENTIONAL) stuff for those special times. read more

Truly uneducated staff. They can be friendly but many of them really have no idea that they're confidently spreading false information. When asking which farms listed were most in line with organic cultivation practices, I was told "well none of them have pesticides because you can't in Oregon." Which is the biggest piece of false information I've ever heard from a dispensary in my life. Also, I told the bud tender which strain I wanted, and he proceeded to tell me that there was another one that smelled similar that was higher THC and also cheaper and then asked me again if I was sure I wanted the one I originally chose. I don't like my cannabis expedience being guided by someone who doesn't even know that THC content is NOT NOT NOT the most important factor in which strain people choose and why. And I happen to choose a different strain because it actually smelled terpy and delicious. Seriously this place is a cheap crappy dispensary and I would only stop here again if I had no other options at the time. Which is highly unlikely. Also just a note, you might not want to keep your flower in such large jars where your employees shake them up and crush all of the nugs. Terpene integrity is very important to some of your more educated customers. Educate your staff. read more

Disappointed in the direction this shops going. Went from being fairly reasonable on a couple of things to having nothing appropriately priced. The man in the store admitted to being taxed less than Portland store, however they continue to charge more for everything. I have some issues with Belly not giving me points earned whenever I make a visit, but that isn't CDC'S fault. I mentioned it to them tho and they are going to try to fix that. I went to the CDC for my first time yesterday. The gentleman at the front, Sam, was super personable and friendly. He got me checked in quickly and he asked me if I would like him to laminate my OMMP card. I found that to be incredibly thoughtful as I've been carrying the paper card around and I haven't had the opportunity to laminate it myself. Plus, I've visited several different shops and nobody has ever offered to help like that, so that experience alone was enough to make me a continued customer. I went during their 5pm - 7pm happy hour for medical patients where they offer 20% off most product, I purchased 2 grams of their cheapest concentrate which was Golden OG BHO. I got a killer deal and walked out with 2 grams for only $48! There are seriously some amazing deals, and they have a loyalty program which is something that Nectar doesn't have. However, once I got home and took a closer look, I was very concerned because the wax had a bad smell similar to rubber, or plastic, not the fruity smell I'm used to with wax. I smoked some anyway, but the taste was even worse than the smell, it was kind of like chewing on a burning car tire. I tried burning it on very low heat with the same results. It was absolutely terrible, I'm not sure if I can stress that enough. I am aware that this type of resulting smell/taste is usually caused during the wax manufacturing process, and I knew that The CDC has a no-returns policy typical of any other weed store, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I called The CDC the next day to explain what was going on. My call was answered by Sam, he remembered me from before and was very empathetic and reassuring that he wanted to help make things right. He put me in touch with one of the managers, Antonio, who was actually the person who had helped me with my purchase the previous night. He explained that this is a very rare problem and encouraged me to bring the wax back in so they can swap it out. They recognized me and made my visit a very comfortable and hassle-free process. They gave me some other wax that is packaged differently and tastes amazing! I am super happy with how everything turned out and I can't recommend them enough! read more
