I highly recommend these eye docs. Been using them for several years. I would not reccomend buying your glasses there. after waiting several weeks for my new glasses they called that they were ready. I paid for new frames and lens. They asked for my old glasses . They put new lens in old frames. After proving I paid for new frames. I had to wait several more weeks for them to send off them to put into my paid for frames they had all along. No apologies. Waist of money cause I still had trouble with lens. They told me I would get use to them. I did not and will not go back . The doctors and that part of business I will give a great review. read more

I wouldn't give this business one star, but zero stars isn't a option. Went to pick up my 2 year olds glasses and when we walked in they said we needed a mask. I'm fine with myself wearing a mask, but I will not put a mask on my 2 year old. He has had multiple surgeries recently, and has been seen at TCH on multiple occasions, and they don't even make him wear them. When I explained he was only 2 years old the lady said he can wait in the car while I pick his glasses up. That would be fine if I wasn't by myself. She said it wouldn't take that long, and he could sit in the car while I ran in and picked his glasses up. For her to even think it's ok for someone to leave a child in a vehicle unattended much less say it out loud is very unsettling. She is either not a parent, or doesn't care for her childs safety. It is also against the law for anyone to leave a child unattended in a vehicle no matter what the temperature is outside. read more

This place is fantastic! I got a sucker after it and the show in the room was neat with animals and stuff. I saw good but they put these weird water things in my eyes and that made it really weird. It was weird. It was less weird later. They said I was really good read more

This is a wonderful place for your eye care. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they always make you feel welcome. I have been there several times through the last few years, and never had to wait more than just a few minutes. I have seen Dr. Kravitz, and Dr. Roberts. My glasses always fit beautifully right from the start, and I do not have to continually go back for readjustments, as I did with the chain place I was previously using. read more

NEVER NEVER NEVER use the Center for Sight in Lufkin. I went about two-three weeks ago to get my eyes checked. I made my appointment at the end of May, so they had my appointment for at least a month - even called the day before to confirm, but when I showed up on the day of my appointment, they did not have an appointment for me. After giving me a fit about our insurance, they decided that they might could "work me in." Finally got to see a doctor after waiting about an hour and the appointment itself consisted of me being shuffled from room to room for about 2.5 hours. All of this for the doctor to tell me that my previous prescription was too strong AND that the appointment was under my mother's name - not mine. So, I went ahead and ordered my new lens for my glasses and was assured that they would be in within 4-5 business days. Well, 2 weeks later they call my parents' house to inform my parents that MY lens had arrived. I went home this past Friday and while I was getting my hair cut, Mom ran by the Center for Sight at 4:30 and they were closed. Yes, CLOSED. Even though their posted business hours were from 9-5 on Friday. She even called and the recording said their business hours were from 9-5. Yet, they were closed at 4:30. I called them yesterday to ask about this situation, and they told me that they were having their carpets cleaned on Friday afternoon, but I was welcome to stop by another time. EXCUSE ME, I live in Houston, they were well aware of that. ((I am originally from Lufkin) Anyways, after my phone conversation, they assured me that if my mother brought my glasses into the store before the close of business yesterday, that they would waive the shipping fees to send them to me in Houston. Mom rushed to get there and drop them off, and they told her that there was no way that they would be able to pay for my glasses to be sent to me in Houston. The representative also informed my mother that I had to be there so that they could fit the glasses to my head, which we obviously could not do. So, Mom paid for overnight shipping so I could see again and when I put them on my face today to do my homework, they were so stretched out that my glasses were falling off of my face. I guess that is my fault?? Moral of the story is, every person I have come into contact with at the Center for Sight was absolutely rude and unhelpful. I am generally very easy to work with on these types of things, but for so many terrible encounters in just ONE doctor's visit means that I WILL NOT be going back to the Center for Sight. Hope you'll take this into account before you go there too. read more

I have been using another eye center for years. I switched to The Center for Sight recently and have been so pleased! The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. I got in and out in a timely manner! Would highly recommend! read more

hello, I'm a 22 year old female and I've been going to Center for Sight for a couple years now. I have absolutely no complaints about them. Everyone has always been nice and easy to be around. My doctor is also a female and she is awesome! They have never done me wrong. In fact, they know I'm from out of town, (about an hour away) and when I go the the little store in their building to pick frames, they usually will work me in to cut my lenses in about an hour or two. So, I just go out to eat or shop and go back and get them. :) read more
