The set-up is what I like the most, being small, even if we are sitting at the back I can still see what's happening upfront. I also like how they will just let families with little baby to be in the mass and not isolate them in a cry room, though they have a room fro that, it is optional for parents. I have a 20 months young baby and I would love for him to be in the church and to be trained how to behave in church. In this church I am able to do it. The whole area is clean and well kept. It's always a looking forward to being here again feel. I just have some questions about their Faith formation that I hope to get response to soon. All in all, it's a great place for the family to worship and hear God's teachings.

I am very Disappointed in the Church. My Family has been members of the church for well over 50…read moreyears. My parents sent 6 children to school there. Mom used to volunteer with the funeral lunches with making food, serving and assisting with clean up. She was part of the women's club she was very much involved in the church all of these years. Mom would go to mass daily. My mother will soon be 95 years old and she had been homebound for several years and was unable to go to church. When she was able to go to church it was always 7 am mass and she sat in the front pue. My disappointment was when I had called to the Rectory to ask if someone could please come to my mother's home to bless her and give her communion. The response was "Oh I'm sorry e don't do that anymore. My mother hasn't been able to attend church for almost 10 years now and no one from St. Raymonds even tried to reach out to see if she needed anything or if she was even still alive. Sad that a parishioner for over 50 years and no one remembers. The funny thing is they keep sending envelopes for the Sunday collections and also any other donations they need. Very Sad that they know how to get the donation envelopes to her and she doesn't even live in Illinois anymore. Maybe St Raymonds church needs to learn the true meaning of a Christian and practice what they preach,

It's a typical suburban parish. Sometimes I found him "a bit too much." But now when I go and just hear homilies that are designed to mildly entertain and sooth me, I miss the challenge. Yet as a Catholic the main point is receiving the sacraments and growing closer to God despite the church at times. So here I find I have to separate the wheat from the chaff and challenge myself spiritually. The only adult Bible study is for men during the week. So it seems only retired men are interested in delving deeper in to scripture for some odd reason.

Excellent for wedding venue and memorial service or local outside ministries renting space. The 5 star rating was from only 2 reviews many years ago. I wanted to do something different and new today so I headed here with my husband for their 10:15am…read moreservice. This church was mentioned in a book I read recently and I wanted to check it out. As we drove up, we saw a small church tucked away in the trees near an old barn and some children's play equipment. The scene conjured up the feeling of a friendly, small town. Thankfully, that's exactly what it felt like inside. Tea and coffee was available on a table in the hallway. Several women greeted us, and after learning we were new, gave us some information and asked/answered questions. We immediately felt very welcome. In the main room, several rows of chairs are arranged in a circle around a table with candles. This set-up, where everyone is able to see everyone, allows for more connection and communication with others. Half of the time, it didn't feel like we were at church, but rather, some large meeting. The service was very unique. It was a little bit of tradition sprinkled with some modern aspects of worship, several prayers, communion, a sermon, and contemporary worship with lyrics on a projection screen. I couldn't tell who the pastor was -- several people led the service. Because of the circle arrangement, these people stood at different points in the room. Children were also included as part of the congregation; they were dismissed to their own group prior to the sermon and came back in before communion. The congregation was a great mix of ages: babies, kids, teenagers, young adults, parents, and the elderly. Everyone fit in. After attending a mega-church for awhile, this close-knit community church was a breath of much-needed fresh air. We left the church in a great mood. If you're looking for a unique, connected, spiritual community, try this. You might see me there.

Not only was Pastor C.J. warm and inviting, he came back to the community room and played a few games of chess. The Church was clean and well lit. The parishioners who attended were nice and welcoming. The church proudly displays a rainbow flag on the front of the church and throughout the inside of the church. As a gay man, my husband and I felt welcomed and comfortable here. I highly recommend the Church of the Incarnation United Methodist Church!

The Pastor CJ is very kind and welcoming to everyone and you really feel a sense of community here. The church itself is also a great facility located near lots of shopping and the highway in Rolling Meadows. There's plenty of parking in the back and it's easy to drop off visitors at the front.
