We came here to celebrate a birthday. The birthday girl picked this restaurant. I learned right before our lunch that the kitchen is a from scratch kitchen which is very impressive considering how large the menu is! A group of us (~25) visited the restaurant after a memorial service shortly after noon yesterday. The staff was accommodating in getting us all seated and greeted us enthusiastically. Some within the party had menus in front of them others did not. The server was anxious to take the order but after seeing that we didn't have menus had to pivot. Other Issues arose shortly after ordering of entrees was completed. Food arrived with servers not knowing who should receive which entree. I ordered the Crispy Chicken and Shrimp with stir fry Veggies and Pineapple in a spicy and sweet sauce with "brown" rice. It took a long time between the time the order was placed and when I received it. This experience was consistent for the entire party. I received the order and it came with "white rice" that was cold and slightly undercooked. The shrimp and chicken were done but everything was swimming in sauce. The veggies were overcooked. I didn't ask to have the rice replaced fearing it would take too long for the wait staff to bring it. Overall, the dish was underwhelming. Others at the table were first time guests and ranked their experience on a scale from 1 to 10 as a "2". One guest commented that what I ordered looked no better than what one could expect at Panda Express. It wasn't busy at the restaurant. There were a lot of empty tables (on a Friday afternoon) so why was the service lacking and the kitchen so slow? A friend of mine ordered chicken piccata special - didn't receive soup or salad and the pasta was stuck together. Highly recommend trying the Peach Perfect with Raspberry Drizzle cheesecake, it is so Americana. 5/5. Had a reservation for 9pm and we showed up at 9:30pm. We called a couple of times to let them know we were running late. Once we got there, our table was waiting for us despite people waiting in the lobby for walk-ins. It felt too tacky for the fine dining prices that The Cheesecake Factory has. The staff seemed stretched a little thin and not too attentive to be honest, which may not be their fault. I got the Shepard's Pie and my buddy got a burger. His burger was served on a ciabatta sandwich bread which was not how it was described in the menu. Amazing experience. first off make a reservation because it's very popular. greeting and seating was very fast ( 5 minutes or less). the hostess is very friendly. there is indoor seating if you have to wait . what a great designed restaurant all seating is private. Bathrooms are so clean and also private. our server Tom was over the top knowledgeable and very accommodating. apps and drinks out in less than 10 minutes. apps were amazing and of course the traditional bread and real butter served immediately after seating . all of our entrees tasted exactly as stated and my pasta was al dente my wife had some signature cocktails for her birthday and they were perfect and only 13$ not pricey at all . 5 stars and my new favorite restaurant. i can't say enough about the cheesecake of course. first time here and definitely our new favorite family restaurant. read more

This place has been mediocre for a while now , atleast the last two years this location is horrible . Family wanted to go here today , don't know why but here we are , had the worst service today . We were all seated and got waters and first put in an order of avocado egg rolls , that came out fairly quickly and was fine . It was kinda hard to get the waitress as the place got busy , so when we put our order in we ordered the stuffed mushroom app ,two mocktails , then I ordered the veggie burger , Jamaican black pepper shrimp and four cheese pasta . A big group sits adjacent to us and behind us. We're a group of four , but somehow the bigger group all got food before us. 10 or more minutes later the mocktails come . When we ordered everything they asked if we wanted the mushrooms first and we said yes , that came quickly too , after that it stopped though . We were waiting for our food watching everyone else get their orders . At one point we asked to just pay for what we ordered already and they said oh they're making one more dish . What ? So they're waiting I guess for everything to be ready , it seemed about an hour , another employee asked us if everything was ok that he would go check them seemingly a manager came and claimed it was only 12 minutes since our order was put it which was a lie and they claimed the food was almost done , and since we ordered apps that's why the food took longer . Makes absolutely no sense because again we could clearly see the tables who came after us got apps and food before us . The food came and was just average . My food was fine not anything special and my aunts shrimp dish I took a taste of the sauce was way too sweet. The mushrooms and egg rolls were good though . It's honestly not worth the money at this point . Better food at a better price point is out there . At the least they could have comped something or not given an attitude like we did something wrong when they treated the other folks around us better and faster . Went to Cheesecake Factory for brunch on a Saturday early afternoon and was looking forward to the Bruch Burrito since I have had it before and enjoyed it immensely. Well, I have to say what came out, was a pale version of what it used to be. It was about 1/4 smaller widthwise than before and the filling was very light. The tortilla was tough to cut. The good news it did taste ok, just not what it used to be. Also, the black beans were overly salty which I confirmed with my friend. Service was friendly and attentive. Anyone who goes here is getting ripped the hell off the manager sucks. They promise you an extra beer for happy hour and don't give it to you. I walked out and didn't even give the waitress a tip. My friend made a reservation for 7:30. We arrived at 7 and let them know that we had more people in our party then we originally thought. The total was 14 (11 adults & 3 children), so I knew the wait would be long... but we were not seated until after 8:30. Because we were such a large party the waiter split the checks via groups of 3-4 which was perfectly fine. We ordered apps around 8:50 and didn't receive them for at least 25 min. Fast forward to 9:30ish after we finished our apps, the waiter finally takes our meal order. The food took 30-40min at least. At that point most of us weren't hungry and took a lot of the food to go. One of my friends found a HAIR on her plate which was not only gross; it also added to the frustration of having been there for so long. So now it's about 10:30. We asked the waiter for cheesecakes to-go because at that point we just wanted to leave. 20 min goes by and the waiter finally comes back with our checks. That was ALSO a complete catastrophe because some people payed with cash and some with card. Apparently there was some difficulty with doing it that way with their system. By the time we left the restaurant it was 11:10 PM. Really just unacceptable. I understand we were a large group, but not everyone ordered apps, and not everyone ordered a meal. In addition, the things we ordered were relatively simple dishes. In my opinion the apps were the only enjoyable part of the meal. I will not be back to this location. read more

I'll prefix this by saying I haven't dined at a Cheesecake factory in over 7 years. I was in the mall shopping and stopped in for dinner since I've never had a bad experience at this location. The service was terrible. The waiter was getting ready for his shift to end- I later learned this which made sense why he was rude and rushing. Anyway, everything bothered him, refills, napkins, taking the order, bothered with an attitude. I ordered the skinnylicious Asian Chicken Salad. It was trash! I picked the chicken out and left the rest. It had zero flavor and was $16. The brussel sprout appetizer tasted like frozen veggies. Two Sangrias and the bill was almost $100. How? I'll never return to this location and I'm really disappointed to spend so much money on garbage food and service! read more

My husbands chicken Alfredo was nice and hot and had a good amount of chicken. The Georgia peach was very good and my husbands passion fruit margarita was also good. Our waitress was really nice. She made sure we had everything we needed. She was very sweet. We got sat by a window where we were able to people watch. I am only giving three stars due to the drinks and one appetizer. Thai chicken wraps great. I ordered a passion fruit margarita and my daughter the passion fruit mojito . We attempted to order the ginger beef tenderloin(keep in mind we arrived at 5:45 ordered around 6pm. Around 6:30 pm we were informed they ran out of the item. How do you run out of food before 7pm in a empty restaurant on a rainy evening. The server sarcastically offered salmon as if we should settle for items we've ordered in the past. We canceled the reminder of our order finished our drinks waited seemed like eternity for the check. I'm not sure what has happened with this location and lack of customer service. Normally the Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite chains to go. It's great food and great prices. However I was literally crying at this Cheesecake Factory located in Willow Grove from the rude service and poor quality food. We walked in and gave the hostess our phone number to be on the waitlist for a table of 2. She told us it was going to be a 15-20 min wait and we'll get a text when our table is ready. We waited for close to 45 mins, no text coming through all the while we saw other parties who came after us getting seated first. My partner went to the counter multiple times to ask for clarification on our wait time and was brushed off and told that it was busy. Which I understood it was busy but it didn't make sense that other walk ins were getting seated first. Finally we were seat after close to an hour of waiting. Then we waited for around 20 more minutes before our server came to get our order. Our seats at the booth had crumbs on it from the previous party. My app plate still had brownish spots on it. I had to ask twice to get it changed. A lot of the apps we wanted were all out of order. Our server was nice but the overall service wasn't good. Our water wasn't refill until we asked for it to be. Food is ok. For apps we got spicy tuna crispy rice, calamari, and Korean fried cauliflowers. The only thing that was enjoyable and flavorful was the cauliflowers. The spicy ahi tuna was not fresh and dull in color. We ended with tiramisu cheesecake. Which was maybe the highlight. Overall I'm shocked and frustrated at Willow Groove's Cheesecake Factory's lack of quality in both Food and hospitality. My recommendation is if you want Cheesecake Factory to go to the one in downtown Philly. read more

Came here on a Wednesday afternoon, and I was told to wait 10 minutes for a table when half of the place was empty. There was also no line in front of my party, so I am baffled at this process. My food was subpar. I ordered a flatbread and the crispy brussel sprouts. The amount of brussel sprouts in the dish was laughable. $13 for basically 2 sprouts fried into chips is just ridiculous. They also should rethink their plating for the flatbread. Bottom was soggy, and it was larger than the board it came out on, so parts of it touched the table. I don't go out to eat just to eat off of the table.... The restroom could also use an update in process. There were a ton of paper towels on the floor by the door which could simply be solved by either having a trash can near the door or one of those foot openers for doors. The only redeeming point for my visit was my server. I believe his name was Bilar (forgive me if I am incorrect). He was attentive and accommodating and checked in on us at a good pace. read more

I also got the chicken avocado club, and it was not what I was expecting. There was hardly any avocado on it and the chicken barely covered half of the bread. The only good thing was the fries. While we were waiting we saw another family come in with a stroller and was seated immediately with the stroller. Mixed bag. The service and environment is pretty good, I was very surprised at all the negative Yelps about it. The bread, apps, and entrees are very middle of the road. We were seated quickly, took awhile to order, 15 minutes later I found out they were out of the stuffed cheddar burger I ordered, an hour later out food arrived... tough outing. Way too long and when the food arrived the fries were cold but we got new fresh ones and my burger was amazing! I think it was worth the wait , the cheddar burger was delicious, up there with best ever category! Also had the orange chicken and shrimp which was very good also. I haven't been to the Cheesecake Factory in a while. I had some gift cards from the holidays so I figured I'd try it out and I was pleasantly surprised. Our wait wasn't too long, and there were so many appetizer options and we enjoyed them all. We were also happy with our meals. And our server was super kind. The crab dip was flavorful and I liked the crunchy bread it comes with. The drive for me is a bit far but it might be worth it more often now. read more
