Ok so we stumbled upon this hidden gem (Don Giovanni's) in the heart of Feasterville pa. Ordered the standard cheese steak, cooper, fr onions and a medium cheese pizza. Everything is cooked fresh to order. Cheese steak well blended, oh they make there rolls fresh daily. I would have to rate this around 8.5 a must try. The owner is super nice and super friendly. Popped in here while in the area on a Saturday afternoon. They had so many great food offerings, but I was only there for dessert options. The staff was awesome and so helpful. The variety of their dessert offering made it so hard to choose from, so I was sold when the staff showed me a dessert platter for $24.99! I also added some mini cannoli's, cream puffs and eclairs. I wish I could give you a description of each item in the platter, but you should really try them yourself! Everyone who tried them was impressed and quickly asked where they were from. All of those choices fed a half dozen adults and a couple of kids with plenty left over for around $42. Whether your bringing desserts to a dinner/part, or just indulging in something sweet for yourself and your family, these guys are more than prepared and ready to help! Just ordered three pizzas last Friday and I have to say they were delicious. The girl that took my order was very friendly. The owner Debby always has a smile on her face and a warm welcome when everyone walks in. The pizza was a little pricey though, 90 bucks for three, but they all had a lot of flavor (Brooklyn, pepperoni and Can't Decide). Will definitely order them again, even with the high price. This is my favorite local bakery! The family that owns it is so so sweet. I started going to this bakery when I was in my teens about 10 years ago and I recently went back after about 4. The cashier told me she remembered me and that I'm so grown up now. I know that was a lie, but that's just how sweet they are there! They are the epitome of Italian bakery and spirit. Carrying the cheesesteak I could tell it had some weight to it. When I opened the container and saw that roll and then picked up that roll oh my goodness I knew we were in for a treat. We got the super steak. It was super! My only concern is the extra stuff, fried onions, mushrooms & peppers. They were delicious and big pieces but they were not mixed in very well and it was noticeable when I went a few bites without an extra. Overall great Cheesesteak experience. We took our cheesesteak to naked brewing and we love Naked Brewing. This place ran an ad in the clipper magazine, I figured we would try it out. We got their family deal which was a large pizza, 12 wings, fries and a 2 liter it was $20.00. So I was skeptical to say the least. Hands down best pizza I have had in a long time, seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. Finally, a great bakery is in our area. I have passed it too many times and finally a gal from work brought in the best stromboli I have had in a long time! Don Giovanni's tries to do too many things at once. When you walk in, you'll notice a lot of tempting stuff, but not all of it (particularly the sweet stuff) is great. Cannolis here didn't impress me, I've honestly had better from a supermarket. A recent carrot cake purchase proved downright inedible, as the cake was rimmed with rancid nuts. Other pastries have been lackluster. Stick to savory items (bread, pizzas, calzones, etc) and you'll be rewarded, however. Don Giovanni's has a great bread dough recipe, so their rolls have a crispy crust that gives way to a yeasty, very flavorful, fluffy interior. Get there early to buy bread; it stales quickly. I'm pretty sure pizzas and the like are based off of this recipe, as the crusts have excellent flavor. The sauce tastes fresh and you can get pretty cool toppings on anything you order (long hots, broccoli rabe, and the like). This place has become my go-to bread vendor. I've learned my lesson and haven't bought any sweets in a while, but the savory stuff has never disappointed. read more

The pieces are definitely in place but something is not running smoothly. My office gets food catered from here once a week. I'm not a big fan of their catered sandwiches. However, I did have a positive experience when I actually went to the store itself. When you walk in this place it is bursting at the seams with pastries. There is no set style. They basically make everything. Imagine a flea market of pastries. Anyway, huge selection. I ordered a breakfast sandwich. It was served on a freshly baked roll. So fresh that I watched it come out of the oven. Their breakfast sandwiches are 3 eggs (scrambled) cheese and your choice of veggie. I went with broccoli rabe. It was messy to eat. I think they could cut the amount of eggs on the sandwich and subsequently the price. Still, it was very tasty. She said her food is quality and she provides great service defending why she should keep my money for over charging me for her companies simple mistake... She never really did let me get in 2 words in our conversation she was just ready to fight... Then she hung up on me... Really!!!!! They must be hurting like most other family run business these days so need to keep what ever money they can get from customers. To loss a customer over $15.00 these days you must be desperate. This place has gone downhill ever since they were in the paper..(Google it..) I used to get takeout from them once every month or so a few years ago and enjoyed it each time, especially their tomato pie. I went back last weekend for the first time in over a year and was very disappointed with my meal and the service. I placed a takeout order over the phone and the man who answered (the owner?) mumbled quite a bit and was not friendly at all.... We went to pickup the order - my boyfriend ordered a panini with fries, and I ordered a veggie wrap - and by the time we drove less than 1 mile home everything was soggy and gross. Boyfriend's fries were soggy and not fit to be fed to a dog. His panini was okay, except the bread was not fresh and tasted stale. My veggie wrap was very soggy and completely soaked through my tortilla. I threw out the tortilla and ate the veggies, which were OK. I also ordered a small garden salad, but the lettuce tasted gross and the balsamic vinagrette dressing did not taste very good. I didn't eat any of it. For $18 I'll go somewhere else... read more

I love this place a lot. So much so that I asked my boyfriend to get food from here to greet me with at the airport when I flew home. If that's not a ringing endorsement then I don't know what is. This is one of my favorite places on earth for many reasons. First of all, it's a family owned, family operated shop. The owners are sweet and friendly and ALWAYS ask me how my mom is doing. Second, the food is crazy delicious and all home made. Favorites include their pepperoni rolls, hoagies, chicken cutlets, broccolini, long hot peppers, and BREAD!!!! The bread is seriously out of this world. We also love their soups and their homemade sauces. For those of you who blindly support this place, I highly recommend you go to Bucks County Health Dept Inspection Reports. They are online for the public to read. You will find the following: 8/22/17 -- 9 violations ..... 8/31/17 -- 5 violations .... 11/28/17 -- 11 violations.... Inspector Comments: (11/28) " Observed small flies and roaches in bake room. Continue to treat regularly." The bulk of these deal with cleanliness, improper food storage and temperature, and in all 3 reports -- bugs and/or rodents discovered.
