I can attest to the deliciousness of the red velvet and flourless orange. I'm not really a cake girl but I'd make an except for these two anytime. My Mum had the vanilla slice and told me it was delicious and she'd love another, soon. She can be a little hard to please so that means a lot. Most cakes come in two sizes - small, meaning cupcake size and large (but really this is only by comparison to the small). All the cakes and baked goods look good and you will pay for this quality, but I think it's worth it. It can get busy so if you want something specific it's best to order ahead. I'm also a fan of the pies and pasties. I buy a few cold every now and then for the freezer. The chadstone franchise serves coffee too and provides some tables and chairs at which to relax. The service is efficient but can be a bit brisk as they do get busy. If you like quality cakes or are looking for a great meat pie (or vego pasty) then give them a go.

I'm talking cake tins in the shape of Minnie Mouse people. See what I mean? The shop is super colourful and every shelf presents some wonderfully exciting decoration or idea. There is a wall of photos of cakes that people have made using decorations from the shop or that they have created in one of the classes run by the shop. Classes are outlined on the website and I've been told that they sell out really quickly. The next round due to be advertised will appear in mid January 2012 so make sure you're checking the website around then so that you don't miss out. Service here is awesome and the person who served me was happy to tell me all about the classes and what happens in each. She was very friendly and totally won me over on the idea of classes. She was very happy when she seen them. The staff in the shop were very helpful and accommodating. For 4 small cupcakes it cost $18 dollars and were ready fresh made after 1 day. Which I felt was a bargain. The taste was as good as the design!! So if your looking for a birthday cake or cupcake designs for a special occasion or just for any old reason for a cupcake, drop in here!!

The black sesame macaroon had no real flavour of black sesame. It was quite unfortunate, but the macroon still had that thin crisp layer that cracks to reveal a chewier sweet center. The deluxe strawberry cheesecake however did have various flavours running through it that gave it a cheesy, sweet cheesecake experience. It was even rolled in cookie crumbs for that extra bit of authenticity. Plus the strawberry layer was packed with strawberry goodness. The mini cupcakes do look very cute, and they have some interesting flavours available. So would I come back? Yep, and I'd try another deluxe macarons or perhaps a Rose Pistachio cupcake. Mmm, I haven't been able to stop thinking about that one.

I ordered cupcakes online from Little Cupcakes in Melbourne (05/10/2020) to be delivered to my friend as a surprise on her birthday (10/10/2022) at 11.30am. I paid a $25 priority delivery fee in addition to the cost of the cupcakes to ensure it reached her. I originally supplied her work address for delivery but then emailed them (07/10/2022) to change it to her home address. The company's T&Cs state any changes to delivery need 7 days' notice, so I asked if this change was ok. They sent me an email that same day confirming the new delivery address. Day of the delivery (10/10/2022) and I didn't hear anything. I email them at 1.26pm asking if they had been delivered. I was told that the logistics manager didn't have the order and was asked if I wanted it delivered on (12/10/2022) instead, or if I wanted a refund. I opted for the refund as it would not be there on my friend's birthday, so defeated the purpose. They then emailed me at 4.18pm saying that whoops, it was actually delivered, but to the work address. I confirmed that I still wanted a refund as my friend wouldn't be in the office until the end of the week so the cupcakes wouldn't be any good. After ringing someone at that office, not me, they said that they would offer a $10 credit for my next order rather than a refund, to which I said no. They then said (12/10/2022) they would just refund the $25 priority fee. Still not good enough. They then said that they would only give me a full refund if the cupcakes could be picked up fully intact two days after being delivered to an office work fridge - absolutely ridiculous! This is probably the first review I have written in over 10 years. It's not something I do. But I thought it was worth letting people know how bad their service is. Do yourself a favour, order cupcakes elsewhere.

It's great, get your sugar hit and then not feel as guilty because you've had a little serve. However this can work against you and you end up buying a pack and hello guilt.
