I love this little shop in Degraves street, it is soo cute! The little cupcakes are delicious and very nice. It's a small place but paceful, you can seat outside or inside with lovely music. I recomend you the Tiny Teddy cupcake! :)

These are the most jam packed little cupcakes that I have ever eaten. Actually they are not just packed with jam, they are also packed with chocolate, butterscotch, cinnamon, cherry, coconut, lemon and the list goes on. A delicate mind would have been needed to come up with these recipes. Not to mention a steady hand to get them looking so perfect. I would be more than happy to receive a box of these for my birthday or breakfast, either way I'd be happy. Now stop reading and go and treat yourself.

The sheer indulgence of this cafe will have you smiling. One of three Little Cupcake cafes this venue remains my favourite. The cute little shopfront amongst the trendy stores and graffiti of Degraves Street makes it pop out and catch your eye . Beautiful and intricate cupcakes in all varieties of flavors line up in the cabinet as you enter. Grab a seat outside looking on to Degraves street or inside on one of the small chairs and take your pick of the cupcakes. They come in 2 sizes - the large are $4 - $4.50 and the small only $2.20. Its quite common to see people stocking up on dozens of the little treats for parties or as gifts. I have bought a selection on many occasions and they have been a winner at picnics, dinners and parties. The hardest part is choosing your flavour. Classics like chocolate fudge and vanilla may loose out to the salted caramel or pistachio - but every one is delicately made and decorated to enhance the decadence and enjoyment of customers. The service is friendly and endearing however the staff get a little overwhelmed when its busy, and the coffee isn't much to write home about. The cupcakes are a different story.

OMG Cupcakes! Cupcakes of every variety! They even have carrots on top (not all of them). And not lame vegetable carrots but the cutest bright orange sugar carrots you have ever seen. Cupcakes! They come in two sizes, but I recommend the smaller ones as trying to fit the larger one in your mouth in one go could induce choking on the awesomeness that is sugary goods. And for a little more than $2 a pop, why wouldn't you walk in then out with a cluster of your very own? The people behind the counter are really friendly for people that have to be tempted by sugar all day. They each have there favourite and are more than willing to help you make a selection. From humble beginnings and one single product in 2007, the Little Cupcakes crew can now treat you to cupcakes for every occasion. Baby shower? Cupcakes!!!!

Im glad I dont work too close to this place because my thighs are thankful for it. I dont think I could walk past everyday without stopping for a mini cupcake - chocolate, red velvet, lemon are my cupcakes of choice. To be honest, the cupcakes are a little over priced..The small size can literally be eaten in one bite. I wish they were a little cheaper, and a little bigger. But they are plenty delicious! The baker/s are very talented. I love the flavours they offer, and I only wish I could bake cupcakes like those at home!

Cute little place on Degraves Street. Perfectly acceptable coffee here. Extremely nice red velvet cupcake as well. Lovely sitting outside on the street which was lively even for a weekday. Service was very friendly and good here. We liked it. A good experience.

The mini cupcakes this little shop sells are dangerous! I could easily eat so many of these! The mini cupcakes I had were delicious, moist and full of flavour. The salted caramel was to die for. The shop itself is very cute and quaint, although I wouldn't be able to take a group of people here, it is extremely tiny. Probably better for takeaway or an intimate conversation with another person. The people behind the counter were lovely too. A great little stop-in for a quick treat and snack.

I love cake, there i said it. So here i am at this cute little cupcake store, its picture perfect. The staff are lovely & very friendly. Not only do they sell lots of mini & large cupcakes, I tried the cherry ripe mini cupcake (I usually order anything salted caramel) they also custom make cupcakes. We ordered a congratulations cupcake which had a letter on each mini cupcake for a baby shower.

Don't order from here - Terrible service - Didn't deliver it to the right address and still charged me. I ordered cupcakes online from Little Cupcakes in Melbourne (05/10/2020) to be delivered to my friend as a surprise on her birthday (10/10/2022) at 11.30am. I paid a $25 priority delivery fee in addition to the cost of the cupcakes to ensure it reached her. I originally supplied her work address for delivery but then emailed them (07/10/2022) to change it to her home address. The company's T&Cs state any changes to delivery need 7 days' notice, so I asked if this change was ok. They sent me an email that same day confirming the new delivery address. Day of the delivery (10/10/2022) and I didn't hear anything. I email them at 1.26pm asking if they had been delivered. I was told that the logistics manager didn't have the order and was asked if I wanted it delivered on (12/10/2022) instead, or if I wanted a refund. I opted for the refund as it would not be there on my friend's birthday, so defeated the purpose. They then emailed me at 4.18pm saying that whoops, it was actually delivered, but to the work address. I confirmed that I still wanted a refund as my friend wouldn't be in the office until the end of the week so the cupcakes wouldn't be any good. After ringing someone at that office, not me, they said that they would offer a $10 credit for my next order rather than a refund, to which I said no. They then said (12/10/2022) they would just refund the $25 priority fee. Still not good enough. They then said that they would only give me a full refund if the cupcakes could be picked up fully intact two days after being delivered to an office work fridge - absolutely ridiculous! This is probably the first review I have written in over 10 years. It's not something I do. But I thought it was worth letting people know how bad their service is. Do yourself a favour, order cupcakes elsewhere. read more

NOTES: ~ Come here when it's close to closing time. I ordered just one of the mini cupcakes and I ended up getting 2 because they were trying to flush out the rest of their stock. Service: Terrific! Like I said, the girl working there was kind enough to give me a second cupcake for the same price since they were closing and needed to get rid of all the cupcakes for the day. Cupcakes: I got a small red velvet cupcake and it honestly wasn't too amazing - I've had much better and there wasn't enough of the cocoa-buttery taste to it. But then again, red velvet isn't really native to Australia so I hope when it takes over more people start to make it better. --- Overall, the cupcakes were alright - much better than The Cupcake Bakery over at Melbourne Central. However, it is VERY overpriced. You could fit 1 of the cupcakes easily in your mouth - they're bite-sized... for 2.20. That doesn't seem like a deal to me. Thankfully I got that extra cupcake otherwise I would've been really upset about getting ripped off. read more

Tiny, but cheerful and friendly. They usually have one or two vegan cupcake options (I had the Black Velvet -- yum!), and they've got soy milk for lattes, so not a bad spot for vegans at all. It's a cute, bright place, but it's teensy tiny and mostly take-away only, so you might not get a seat. There are Little Cupcakes locations everywhere, but this one is the most fun for people-watching because you're right in Degraves St, a laneway that's popular with locals and tourists alike. As far as cupcakes go, they really are little -- but if you're just craving something sweet and not something to fill your tummy, Little Cupcakes are perfect. They can be quite rich and decadent, too -- don't be fooled by the size! read more

The little cupcakes at Little Cupcakes are the perfect size. About the size of an apricot. Perfect size because you won't feel like you've overindulged. Perfect because it means you can squeeze in a few different flavours in one visit. And perfect because you can walk away, cupcake in hand and not look awkward walking and eating a cupcake. It's cupcakes central but they also do above average coffee. So stay, sit with your cupcake (and coffee) and enjoy the hilarious montage of tourists posing with their special widdle cupcakes around you. read more

When your baking maniac mother agrees with you that these cupcakes are good, then they must be at least pretty good if not very good. No, I can't say that I love every flavour that they do, but I certainly rate them among my favourite cupcakes in Melbourne. In short, they suit my tastebuds, even if they don't suit yours: the cake portion isn't too moist or too dry, the icing of most flavours isn't too sweet or too tasteless. "Well-balanced" is what I would call them. I always get the little ones because they're perfectly sized if you want to have a few different flavours in one go. I also ordered a big box of these in lieu of a conventional birthday cake last year and they were a massive hit with my guests, as well as being easy to serve. Flavour tip: the Devil's Dark Choc is one of my favourites for its delicious Lindt icing. If you really want to make yourself take a trip to the gym after - then buy one of the so-cute-it-hurts Cookie Monster or Elmo ones to go with the Devil's! read more

My girlfriend and I had a snack here and really enjoyed it. We got a six-pack of mini-cupcakes and enjoyed splitting each one so we could try a bunch of the different flavors. We liked all of them but the salted caramel, red velvet, and dark chocolate were our favorites. I had a really tasty coffee there...which is what I would expect from a great coffee city like Melbourne. My girlfriend had a vanilla shake and she raved about it. I tried it and I agreed: it was probably the best milkshake we have both ever had! Also, being tourists, the pedestrian only Degraves St was a great place to watch the world move by. read more
Stumbled across Degraves Street while walking-touring around the central area and stopped here for an afternoon tea. A very cute cupcake store with the option of tasting their cool flavours in a mini or standard size. Got two minis in their Blueberry pistachio and Salted caramel- they both had a tasty, soft texture with delicious icing- would love to come back to get a six pack as they had many interesting flavours in the cabinet as well as the great standard classics. Their banana raspberry smoothie -which came in a cool glass handled jar, was refreshing with it's real fruit seeds throughout. Have both indoor and outdoor seating but it's a small store so only the window wooden bench and thin wooden table to the side inside. Small table outside the front window. Cute place with good cupcakes read more

Just bought 12 cupcakes from this shop for a colleague's birthday. Flavours were lemon, passion fruit, chocolate and red velvet. All flavours went down a treat in the office. I also grabbed a quick coffee from them and was impressed by how nice it was! Only slight issue was that the gentleman serving me offered to put a happy birthday sticker on one cake without making it clear that it was going to cost me extra. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice to know in advance (I would have bought it either way). Would visit again. read more

Hands down the best cupcakes in town. Red Velvet my favorite with a Teddy Bear cupcake in a close second. Love this place and although small, a really nice place to sit in the window and people-watch whilst indulging in tea and cupcakes. read more

The cupcakes are/were great but the customer service might not be worth it. I've always heard great things about these cupcakes and that is not a lie, the people I ordered them for enjoyed them. That being said, I was told the delivery would be made in a 4 hour window from 7am - 11am. The cupcakes weren't delivered til 12:50ish. The recipient of the delivery had a meeting at 11:30am and was out of the office the rest of the day but the meeting got pushed back to 1:30pm luckily. When emailed asking to explain why the delay happened and why I wasn't informed it would be that late, I just got a reply saying they checked with the driver and it was delivered finally. The cupcakes are great and if you're going to go into a store than, I will give then 5 stars. This review is based on me lucking into the delivery getting to the recipient (because of the pushed back meeting) because of the almost 2 hour late delivery and then the very poor follow up and email response. Eat at the shop but do not get delivery of you want something reliable. read more

No doubt that Little Cupcakes makes the tastiest and most adorable cupcakes in Melbourne. Always a fan of their red velvet cupcake since 2009. Love the fact that they come in mini size, which means I can try more flavours with lesser guilt. read more

Gorgeous little cupcakes with a number of flavors; all of which are extremely satisfying.
So I am going against the grain here. I love cake and I especially love little cakes where I can eat more than one and not feel like a hippo! However when I compare little cupcakes to other cake places around Melbourne I found it lacking. The service was extremely slow, I waited 15 minutes for my milkshake and I even looked to see if there was a cow they were milking out back but no it was just staff texting on their phones and not really worrying about customers. My cupcakes were dry and to some up the star rating it was all a bit meh I have experienced better. read more

Went to little cupcakes Hawthorn (Don Arcade) today and was not impressed. Grubby display, uninterested sales person. Hardly any variety, lucky if there was 2 of each flavour. Came away disappointed and purchased birthday cakes elsewhere. Really disappointing. read more
Lovely cupcakes. Very cute stores. I enjoy their milkshakes too. Try the red velvet cupcake and the Belgian chocolate. I like that there are mini cupcakes as well as normal sized ones. Perfect for a treat. read more
This quaint little step-in, located in one of Melbourne's iconic alleyways boasts beautiful mini cupcakes and delicious coffees and hot chocolates. El Hub and I decided to each try their coffee + mini cupcake special for $5.50. Good choice I'd say for an afternoon pick-me-up. My pistachio cupcake with pistachio icing was exactly what I hoped it would be. However, my partner's lemon cupcake was a bit uninspired and mild on flavour. Regardless, that's not a good reason to check it out if you swing by, as they have quite the variety to choose from in their daily displays. read more

I had the opportunity to try the little coffee cupcake at work which was delicious so I decided to wander down to lovely Degraves Street to try out some of the other flavours. Unfortunately I was dissapointed. The vanilla as well as the chocolate cupcake were very dry and had a lack of flavour. I expected a taste explosion in my mouth but I just got bored and thought I would have been better off buying a raspberry white chocolate muffin at Woolie's. Less expensive and tastier! read more

This really would have to be one of my favourite cupcake bakeries in the world. I have been to Magnolia bakery, hummingbirds and many other but this one takes the cake pardon the pun. They have a great election of flavours that are always moist and delicious. Will always keep coming back here when I have a jones for cupcakes!! ;-) read more
