The space was comfortable and clean, and everyone was so nice and helpful. I got an arguably silly tattoo, but they took it seriously from start to finish! I've felt awkward about asking for weird or specific tattoos before, but I felt so at home and respected here, even being from out of town! It was an easy and fun experience, and the cost was well below what I expected to pay for a quality tattoo in this day and age, especially work as nice as I got. When I tell you, we called ONE HOUR before getting these flash tattoos. Walk- ins are welcome, but I feel it was amazing they got us in so quickly on a Saturday. I waited a few weeks to post this review so I could talk about my healing process! I have been wanting a cartilage piercing for YEARS but was too wimpy to get it for the longest time until my friends convinced me. I came in with 2 friends to collectively get piercings and give each other moral support. We made appointments online a few days before, the website was super easy to navigate. You pay a deposit when you book your appointment but that deposit goes towards the cost of your piercing. We arrived, checked in, and then chose our jewelry. They have a very nice selection of jewelry. We were then told to wait until Oscar was ready. I was SO nervous because I am such a baby but Oscar was so so so nice!!! He was very conversation and funny and really helped me to relax. He talked me through what to expect and the aftercare process. It was over in a pinch!! The healing process is going extremely well, I have had no problems with any major swelling, bleeding, or pus. Oscar definitely knew what he was doing and used all the proper sterile technique. Upon contacting the artist 5/19 to ensure he would honor a coupon he sent me a couple weeks prior I was informed that he "thought" I would cancel my appt so therefore I didn't have one.. Now he was saying in the emails that he was unavailable the day of my appt and still that I didn't have an appt. I explained that I knew I had an appt and asked him to look through the messages. This was so weird to me and his responses were making me very uncomfortable. Suddenly he said he'd see me the next day after he rudely told me twice that he wasn't available and that I would have to pay ANOTHER deposit fee of $260. Wtf!! I responded that I should not be monetarily punished for his error. Then he called me a drama queen and more. Not someone I'd be able to trust and sit with for a full day to have a tattoo done. He also states in one of his return messages to me that I'm making the country poor. Guessing he's making this assumption bc I inquired about a coupon, one that he introduced. I got my first tattoo here and there wasn't much of a wait time which was nice. The woman that did my tattoo was also very nice and friendly. The reason I am upset is because I asked for a tattoo behind my ear and the woman had to shave the hair aside to do it. I asked her if the hair would just grow back over the tattoo and if she could do it closer to my ear to avoid the issue, but she said the hair would just stop growing back there or would be little baby hairs. I had it done in July and waited several months to see if my hair pattern would change but, as you can see, it has not. I spent $140 on this tattoo that I have to shave over every 3 weeks. Unfortunately I did not have a very pleasant experience here due to the outcome of a tattoo done about 3 weeks ago. One of them turned out fine--one behind my ear on my neck. The second one, pictured here, is in my finger and is incredibly disappointing. Chito was my artist and he did a good job on the tattoo on my neck. However, this one on my finger is quite messed up. It's healed but I believe he pressed too hard with the needle and the ink has spread beneath the layers of my skin and it's resulted in a very blurry, very inconsistent, and honestly poorly done tattoo on my hand. The lines are not clear and it's misshapen and honestly ugly. It should be a flame with clear and thin black lines and instead, this is the outcome. If he didn't feel comfortable doing a tattoo on such a small and delicate area, I wish he would have said something instead of tattooing me in such a visible spot that is now permanently disfigured. The only way to fix it at this point is to make the lines bigger and that is the opposite of what I wanted. I signed a waiver as it is a tattoo on my hand but this tattoo is not blown out due to aging--it was done with too much pressure to begin with. I have smaller tattoos that did not have this problem on my rib age, directly on bone, similar to my finger, as well. Hopefully it will fade with time and I can get it removed. Really disappointing. read more

I had to point out where it was unfinished and he "corrected it" in a way that made it seem like it was a chore for him. My wife also got her first tattoo and her experience was equally seamless. The shop was very accommodating and we were able to schedule appointments (recommended) on short notice. Received a notification because apparently the owner had replied to me. Because I cannot reply, here is my response. 1) I did not make my settings so that the business owner could not reply. This statement is a complete lie as I received a reply from a business owner a few days ago. 2) Yes they are correct I came 2 years ago to get a piercing. I did not realize it was a crime to write a review a few years later? I wrote many of my reviews in a short time span because I just recently had some more free time and felt it worthwhile to review the places I remembered visiting. 3)They stayed the pricing was incorrect. I will apologize for that as I was relying on my memory. I do recall the total being $100. I forgot I had left a tip. I believe the spray was $20, perhaps the piercing and earring itself were not the exact prices I do recall them being on the high side, maybe $75. As you can see in the screenshot, the person who replied to my message states this themselves. I'm not sure what the issue is since the prices I stated were very close, plus my review's only grievance was that the place was expensive and I had the total correct. I'm confused why they bothered stating the jewelry they use as I did not state any doubt about the quality of their jewelry. I just, AGAIN, stated it was high priced. The necessity of the business owner to analyze my activity just to not even have a conclusion or point to their reply is baffling to me.
