Wow - some of the best ice cream I have ever had! No wonder they got all those awards! I split with my family. We got the mint Oreo, PB Oreo, & the banana pudding I believe it was called. My oh my - it was the most ice cream I have eaten in a while. (And that's saying something as someone who has to take Lactaid in these situations - lol!) The service was good - they got through the line quickly. The place gives small town ice cream shop vibes like no other! We ate in my dads truck bed, and it was one of those summer nights you don't forget.

Toasted Coconut Sundae - best ever!

Love a seasonal walk-up ice cream stand. Considering the crowd, service was fast and efficient. Loved my scoop of toasted coconut.

Amazing ice cream on the planet. Toasted coconut is plentiful with flavors never had here in Indiana. Recommend with hot caramel.

I recently wheeled across Indiana on a fundraiser. As I was wheeling the Pumpkinvine Nature Trail…read morein Elkhart County, I learned about Mooey's Ice Cream. Mooey's is an Amish-owned, seasonal ice cream that offers friendly people (including the owner), a unique and beautiful setting (including farm animals you can pet), an outdoor area where you can sit (there is no indoor dining as everything is walk-up or drive-up), and delicious ice cream that is generously served. Quite honestly, I loved this place and I think the entire crew considered it one of our better fun stops. It's actually about 1/2 block off the Pumpkinvine. You do have to go up a long driveway that is mostly crushed gravel - a bit challenging in a wheelchair. Parking is in a gravel parking lot. You can drive up to their rather simple storefront. I was a little concerned as I had a film crew with me at the time (and the Amish shy way from photos), however, they were friendly about it and the owner even came out and introduced himself. I think he may have been impressed that I handled his gravel driveway in my wheelchair. There's lots of ice cream flavors and some food options. I only had ice cream - and a medium M&M ice cream option that was ginormous. Whereas it seems like most places scrimp these days, this was rather generous in my opinion. At the side of the building, there's a farm animal area that was delightful - goats, a pig, and a donkey you couldn't help but love. There was even some food there so you could feed them. It was awesome. My entire crew had been craving ice cream - one place we'd wanted to go was closed, however, Mooey's was open and really lived up to the effort it took to get to them. One of my favorite things about the Pumpkinvine is the presence of the area's Amish (on bicycles - buggies and horses not allowed). This was just sort of an exclamation point on how much I love the Pumpkinvine. This was an absolutely delightful stop and I'll for sure head back when I'm in the area. As a note, however, they are seasonal. For example, this year they are closing for the season on September 28th. However, this is for sure a place to stop when they are in season. For obvious reasons, they don't have a website. There's a port-o-let on the grounds, as well. Business was steady throughout our stop and it was clear that those who love Mooey's are dedicated to it. I can't wait to go back.

Later this afternoon, the six of us visited Mooey's Ice Cream for dessert. They were very busy,…read morewith a short line, when we arrived and a very much longer line when we left the parking lot. The ice cream stand is located directly in an active farming area. There were lots of farm animals in our viewpoint. One of my favorite animals was present for a nose rub and a squeeze (photo too), a burro. We had a variety of ice cream representing three different creameries: Kemps, Yoder's and Guernsey Farms. The flavors that we had were chocolate peanut butter, southern butter pecan, moose tracks, triple peanut butter, mint chocolate chip and butter pecan. All were enjoyed.

I came here with a friend for a little treat after her birthday dinner with a group of friends, and…read moreit wasn't the first time I'd been. But that being said I have only been about a handful of times and I think this was the last time I'll ever go. The menus are extremely hard to read. The text is insanely tiny and it's constantly changing. Like probably two or three seconds in between each page of the menus, and it flashes by so quickly. And with so much going on on the screen it's insanely hard to even focus. I had to look at the menu on Doordash to even have a semblance of an idea of what I could want. And on top of that, everything is above like 12 dollars except for some strawberries on a stick. Four strawberries. With some chocolate. The total for that is 4.99. That's actually insane. I ended up ordering some cheesecake crema strawberry thing (couldn't find the name because the menu and website sucks ass) and guess what I was given. A fucking cup of milk. Plain milk. With half a pound of un-ripe strawberries and a pile of whipped cream with barely any cheesecake bits. I paid 14 for a cup of milk. Unflavoured milk. I'm actually still in shock because who even sells that? It was labelled as a "strawberry cheesecake delight made with sweet cream". And when they gave it to me it spilled everywhere because they decided I needed a mile high mound of fucking cream. If you're ever in the Goshen, IN area and want a sweet treat don't even glance at this store. It's good for pictures and that's it. Save your money and time and go to the Chief or Yups. Those are MUCH better options for a nice treat.

I ordered the Mangonada and it was perfecto!!! I highly recommend giving this place a try.read more

But the two scoops I had at this locally-owned, farm next door to table creamery and store were some of the best I've had in recent memory! While this local creamery has been selling its famous milk for a while now, they only started selling their ice cream in 2022! The flavors are classic, with a rotating list of some unique flavors, and the scoops are GENEROUS! I could attempt to describe why this ice cream is so great, but you have to try it yourself! For $5.25, I got basically a pint's worth of lemon curd gelato and extreme cookies and cream ice cream in a cup. The lemon curd is generous throughout and the chocolate sauce in the cookies and cream was thicc. 1000/10! The rest of the store was filled with goodies I wish I had more time to look at. I guess ill have to come back! Haha! I did scoop up a small jar of sugar free rhubarb jam for $3.75 and look forward to trying it out on my daily toast.
