My daughter Ashleigh attended The Children's Courtyard over 11 years ago, and we had such a positive experience that there was no question where we would send my first grandchild, Kameron. From the moment we walked back through those doors, it felt like coming home. The staff is caring, attentive, and truly passionate about what they do. They go above and beyond to make sure every child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to grow. Kameron is always excited to go in the morning, and it's clear he's thriving--socially, emotionally, and academically. It means so much to our family to have a place we trust completely, especially one that has now supported two generations of our children. This school is amazing! My child started around the Age of 2 and has been growing academically, socially, and emotionally. Their lessons plans are effective and communication is great. With the live camera and open communication I feel comfortable sending my child to school there, not to mention having personalized access codes to get into the build and to the classrooms. The director and assistant director as always open to feedback and any concerns I have. When i do express concern they are immediately on it with an action plan. My daughter teachers Nya, Amber, and Dorsa are AMAZING and i can not empathize that more! They are caring and actually love to teach and be active with my child. I recommend this school everytime when people ask me where my daughter goes. The staff is amazing and the environment is clean and organized. Overall structure is great ! I value what they do and how they do it I would give 10 stars if I could. read more

Sidenote: This is the second time I've tried reposting. Our son started here the day it opened and we loved it at first. The teachers were great, the manager seemed like she knew what she was doing and the brand new building was amazing. After a month or two the roster of teachers started to change and our 2 year old started having biting problems. They assured us it was being properly dealt with at school and we made sure to consistently reinforce at home that biting was never okay and talk about other ways to express frustration or anger. They started having a revolving door of teachers in his classroom and when he finally got a permanent one his discipline problems escalated (only at school).  I tried speaking to two different staffers at the front desk about it and made it clear that we wanted to be part of the solution and help stop this (bc is there anything more heartbreaking and frustrating than hearing your child is hurting other people?). I was given vague responses and received no follow through. Our son also started coming home with injuries and we had to take him to urgent care twice because of accidents that happened at school. I started watching the camera feed more consistently and was taken aback at the lackadaisical way the teacher was watching the kids. At one point I saw my child grab a chair, pull it across the room, stand on it and try to grab something off the wall before the teacher even noticed what was happening. She had been chatting with another staffer and paying no attention to the kids. I brought my concerns again to the front desk (the managerial staff had also changed some at this point) and they couldn't be bothered. I noted that the teacher seemed overwhelmed and harried and mentioned that the amount of kids might be too much for her and was told they were within state mandated guidelines. Again, when I spoke to the woman I told her we wanted to assist in any way we could and tried to be proactive and not place blame solely on the staff. Because we were so completely blown off and ignored we chose to find another school as soon as we could. Our son is now at a different daycare a couple roads down, hasn't bitten anyone since his first week almost a year ago, has plenty of structure and fun, and really loves going to school.  I could never recommend this daycare to anyone. Our son started at this school the day it opened, and since day one every single teacher and staff member has treated him with so much love and attention. He quickly warmed up to them all and has very quickly grown both socially and intellectually. The building is brand new, with excellent security, a great kitchen, and a huge inventory of state of the art teaching aids and toys. I know it's normal to think twice about putting your kids in a brand new school. Please let our "guinea pig" experience be useful and give the Children's Courtyard a look. read more

My son was bit the first day he started. I have been very patient and trusting that they have been taking to steps to help the biter- but things never got better. In fact one day last week my child came home with SIX bites on his back. Bruised and bloody. STILL no behavior plan for the biter. There is no accountability, and no teacher takes any responsibility. If you have a toddler, RUN! Before yours gets physically assaulted daily as well! read more
