Just have to mention: just started couponing and reas horror stories about cashiers at family…read moredollar stores.Nervous about using so many and getting embarrassed by rejections or holding up lines.We have multiple store here and most have very nice cashiers but decided to go to E. 38th street location because the manager is always especially nice.Was a different girl there so wasnt sure how it was gonna go.Not only was she helpful but she actually gave me extra savings on top of what I expected. I asked her how she could do that and she said not to worry, the company will reimburse them.My coupons even got stacked! She said her boss asks her everyday, "are you going home happy?" So she said if the customer is happy I am happy!" A big thank you for "Sherry" for making my shopping an exceptional experience! I think 90 percent of most dollar/convenience store should have mandatory "how to treat a customer" classes.Everytime you go into a store all you get are rude cashiers who dont acknowledge you, rude, talking to other employees while waiting on you or just plain incompetent! I will do all of my shopping I can from here now on. PS way cheaper than dollar general, even with coupons.

Was in Erie Pa on Mother's Day and we decided to stop at the Mill Creek Mall. I purchased two pair…read moreof slacks and we drove the 2 hours home. I put the pants in my closet pleased I found a pair for a specila occasion on Weds the 15th. Reached into the closet for those pants and discovered the ink security tag was still on them! I was furious! I get mistakes happen, but darn it!! I just hung up with Justin the Sales Manager (after getting bounced to two other departments) who sounded like he was 17 years old, had marbles in his mouth and a sinus infection as well. I explained what happened and he asked me to bring them back. I again stated I was 2 hours away from his store and an hour to the nearest Macys from my home. After a number of "ummms" he offered 25 Macys bucks for his store and that was the best he could do. I wasn't looking for anything outrageous - a gift card to compensate for my time and gas....no he couldn't do anything else. Not impressed with my first time at a Macy's - definately my last!!

My husband and I were customers of this particular store one time. The store appeared to be fully stocked, well organized, and clean and to have a large selection of merchandise. We saw cookware, books, Halloween decorations, t-shirts, and so much more. Prices were low to moderate. My husband found a mat that he liked. At the cash register, the cashier did their job properly. The mat cost only $8, and my husband likes it.

She said she really didn't know anything about the items I was talking about and immediately found me the person that could help me. This person was very knowledgeable and even though she was told she had a call, she continued to help me until I was satisfied. I found her very helpful and a huge complement to Hobby Lobby.

Every time I go there they change the prices up front at the register to more money than is advertised in back--or they say the sticker is wrong on the item and ask for more money--what??? They really are ridiculous with their pricing--many of their items are old or have stains, yet they want top dollar--plus, you can't even test the electronic items. I have noticed that lately when I go in there they are not busy--I guess people figure if they are going to pay those kind of prices they can just to the Salvation Army where there is a way better selection. Greedy, greedy, greedy. And rude.
