They have a ton beautiful clothes but none of it is functional somehow, all the pants that I have ever tried on for my kids here have always had such a low rise that they were unwearable. I made the mistake to buy two pairs of pants on two different occasions but they just ended up hanging on the hanger and then being donated. Tops are still ok but I find they have to much stuff on them ( glitter and vinyl prints ). What I have to give them pro's for is their winter gloves!! Best winter gloves you will find anywhere!! They are all excellent, they are just the everyday gloves not the hardcore -40 gloves. I always come back here every year just for that.

I walked into a small crowded space, which was dominated by a group of children doing crafts. I assume it was a birthday party. As I entered, the adults on the premises looked at me like I had two heads. Feeling like I had done something wrong, I said "I'm sorry, is the store open?" You would think that this is where someone in charge would realize they should have locked the door and put a sign up about the private party, and then apologize to the unwitting would be customer. Nope! One of the adults rolled her eyes at me and said "I suppose it's not." I think this may have been the parent hosting the party, but it's possible it was someone linked to the store. Then a person who I can only guess was an employee of the store said "no, take an envelope!" There were several unmarked envelopes on the door. Perhaps they contain the secret instructions required to infiltrate this establishment, something like bringing a quail's egg under the light of the waxing moon or saying a secret password. Because, I can attest that walking in the door during the store's hours of operation doesn't get you very far. I can't speak to the goods there, because I doubt I'll rouse enough nerve to try to enter here again.

Will not be back here, that's a guarantee.

The shop owner and manager are always helpful and lovely to their buying customers. I recently purchased a lovely dress for my daughter for a special occasion. Upon her first time wearing it, it came apart at the seams. I called the shop hoping to have the dress replaced or some sort of offer to have me come in the store to get something else, but instead I received a phone call in which it was explained that there was nothing that they could do for me as they have not had any other issues with this line of clothing. When I explained that I was not happy and would not return to the shop, it didn't bother them at all, they were sorry that I felt the way I did but explained that had I bought something for myself at Holt Renfrew and had the same situation, Holt Renfrew would not replace the item. I guess they often do not shop at Holt Renfrew, as that is definitely not the kind of service I receive at Holts. I expected a much higher level of service from their company, and I am quite disappointed. I will start making a trip out to Bolton where there is a great high end kids clothing store where the service is always pleasant. I will be informing my friends and family about this experience.

Now they are telling me that my money was refunded, however no proof of that on my end, even my credit card company can't find the "refunded" money. I called the store asking for proof of refund and the guy says its an automated service so that can't be provided but he would re-send the email I received after purchasing. SO needless to say there is no proof of a refund and I am probably out over $1000. Save yourself the headache and order from someone else.

The woman on the phone was not friendly and lacked customer service skills. I will not be a repeat customer and would advise others to avoid online purchases.
