As an artist, Legos was my first introduction to art & establishing a creative imagination. With the various colors & numerous building platforms, the sky isn't the limit when it comes to Legos This cute pop-up brick bar was just what I needed on this gloomy day off from work. A creative outlet & some visual stimulation. It had everything from Lego seats, cups, and even block-shaped food! According to the Lego team, the bar itself will be built using over one-million of the blocks, and you'll be able to create whatever you'd like with the free floating pieces available while you're there.   It's a pop-up bar here only for about a week or so. So, if you're interested grab tickets fast as they're likely to sell out. It's fun, interactive & of course kid friendly but they do sell alcohol beverages and have a DJ spinning all of the latest tunes. Tickets are about $30 and the food & drinks are sold separately. Ticket times are limited up to 90 minutes but it's more than enough time to enjoy the venue. Today was all about fun and had just that.

As we pulled up in front of the place we were kindly greeted by a gentleman at the front door. The La Tablee NY Tasting is a celebration of over 100 wines of the Rhone Valley (Northen + Southern France) . The La Tablee NY Tasting was already in full swing as we checked in, placed our outerwear at the coat check and were each given a wine glass and wine tasting booklet. Before proceeding towards any wine/food tables, we glanced at the map indicating where each wine/food table was located. We went to each table, sampled things and marked it off in our booklet. There was space to write notes pertaining to specific wines that we liked. Because I enjoy the flavor of white wine and since there was fewer of those, I can safely say that every single white wine I had was my favorite-lol. Along with the wine tasting, there were delightful tasty treats to sample from restaurants/eateries including Atrium, Andante Dairy, Bar Boulud, Celestine and Frankies Spuntino. The Charcuterie platters (fresh cheeses, breads, crackers, fruit and meats) were so good. We tried Toscanna Aqua Penna for the first time (yes, I am very late-lol) and this bottled water is smooth + refreshing. Shout out to Columbe staffperson Ellie as she made the best Latte.... Bridge 26 boats wooden floors and high ceilings in which the natural sunlight radiates through the venue. There are bathrooms on the upper and lower levels and the downstairs bathroom has a connecting "powder room" so that brides, birthday boys/girls and eveyone in between can freshen up and get ready for their festivities. 375 people can be in the venue for standing events and a bit over 200 can fit there during seated events. The Bridge 26 website has a section in which you can send them an email to make general inquiries on booking this space. The La Tablee NY Tasting was fantastic and it was cool to attend it at 26 Bridge.

It's very petite but I like intimate vibes and they live tape show so you can view and listen in bar area. Very high quality with fantastic sound system. The talent that performs here are fantastic.
