DO NOT MOVE INTO THE LODGE AT FOXBOROUGH - Health Hazard, Zero Accountability, Ongoing Infestation…read more My partner and I moved into The Lodge at Foxborough in July 2023, and what was supposed to be our peaceful home turned into an absolute nightmare. At a time I adored this place, we have been good tenants, clean, and have always abided by the rules and regulations. However, since September 2024, we've been battling a severe cockroach infestation that has taken over our apartment and disrupted every part of our lives. We first reported the infestation on September 20, 2024, and since then we've had five exterminator visits. Not only has the problem not been solved, but I've been told directly by exterminators that other units in the building are also being treated--which clearly points to a building-wide issue. This is not an isolated case. This is a sign of systemic neglect. Despite this, management has done the bare minimum: No offer of temporary housing No rent compensation No relocation to another unit No accountability for the trauma and stress caused We were left to live in filth, treated like test subjects while they experimented with "follow-up visits" to "see if treatments are working." That's not a solution--that's an insult. My partner and I are not a science experiment. We're paying tenants (approximatly $2,660 a month, not including utlities) who were promised a habitable, safe home. This infestation has wrecked our lives: I've missed work and class to accommodate the exterminator's schedule We've been forced to live out of boxes, unable to use our kitchen or bathroom freely My cat's safety has been a constant concern during treatments We've experienced social withdrawal, heightened anxiety, panic, and severe emotional stress. My relationship has suffered. Our home has not felt like a safe space in months I've spent my own money on traps, poisons, and patchwork for holes left in the kitchen that allow pests through plumbing and unfinished work And worst of all? We had to escalate the issue to the Board of Health, who formally investigated the property on March 11, 2025. Only after that did management finally switch pest control companies. But it was too little, too late. Even after months of suffering, with the infestation still ongoing, they have refused to let us out of our lease. They are prioritizing contract enforcement over basic human dignity and legal habitability standards. We are literally only asking to break our lease 3-4 months early once housing is secured, without penalty and our security deposit back. I have documented this experience thoroughly with photos and videos, and I will be posting them across Google, Yelp, Facebook, Reddit, and any platform I can find. People need to know the truth about this place. I am posting this review to warn future renters and hold The Lodge at Foxborough and UDR accountable. No one should be forced to live in these conditions and be met with indifference and excuses. Shame on this property for their negligence, for putting our health at risk, and for treating their tenants like they're disposable.

Gym equipment extremely outdated, computer lab is two computers totally outdated with viruses so you can't even use them and the clubhouse is halfway decent but always has teenagers breaking into it from this complex and the depot. Bringing me to the depot. In the summer the pool is always getting broken into by kids from over there because they need to pay for their pool. The depot brings major issues to this complex. Cops are always everywhere. They have been in this place so frequent that when I noticed one guy driving through a week ago I stopped him to ask. They have numerous people that they "check up on" weekly. Great! There is so much criminal activity it's hard not to notice. Many cars in and out all the time always late night issues and apparently there is drug dealing suspected in one of the buildings. Bad concept for a place like this for the rent they charge to be surrounded by this. They could better handle that but that would take effort. They also allow pets in the apartments, I don't personally mind but there are three buildings of at least 26 units each and one place for them to go the bathroom? And no dog park? Seems just like another way to make money without offering services for people with animals. I see at least two moving trucks a week. Place is a revolving door. Don't sign up to be part of this, you will regret it as soon as you do. Pool is falling apart, no insulation in between walls you hear everything! Water in units above is sooo loud. Water bills aren't what they quote either, who even charges water in an apartment? Parking isn't enough either. Garages are the only nice part of this place. Not worth the money, the sanity you will lose, or the fear of who lives next to you. Run don't walk away. I can't wait to move from this place soon, I know two other people in my building waiting to move where our neighbors did in Foxboro!

It's sad how everything has depreciated since the Pandemic in the United States…read more I lived at Mansfield Meadows from 1996 thru 2001. It was quiet apartment complex including the area. I was thinking of returning to the complex. However, I am shocked of the latest reviews on the property. The first question that comes to mind is, has the property changed management companies? I have lived in a complex for eighteen years, similar to Mansfield Meadows and we hove gone through three property management companies. We experience the same issues from Smoking in the Hallways, Servicing Cars in the Parking Lot, Tenants expressing their aggression in public. Considering on how expensive it is to live in Massachusetts's, it is not worth the return to be subjected to such an environment. J. J. H., II

Attempts to reach them have been unsuccessful and they do not comply with Massachusetts law in regards to move outs and your security deposit based on this. The units are also falling apart, which is why we got out of there. Leaks almost every month somewhere in the building on top of other issues. The maintenance team does their best, but these units are old and between the outrageous rents and poor office staff experiences, save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.
