This one of the well-known food trucks that travels around the St Louis suburb areas. Cheesesteaks…read morearen't horrible but they're not seasoned well and they're most definitely over-priced. Food is quite greasy and the menu is quite short. Drink options are non-existent. Majority of the time you end up waiting 20+ minutes for your order, so don't expect a quick turnaround. They don't provide any form of decor or seating options (other than your own vehicle).

I think they would do even better than they already are if there was a place to sit. An outside picnic bench or two would work too, even in winter. Personally, I hate eating in my vehicle, and let's face it, cheesesteak sandwiches are not too easy to eat without spilling a but here and there. My wife and I both ordered the mushroom version. All sandwiches come with the basic, grilled onions, peppers, steak meat (or chicken) on a soft sub roll that's perfect for this format. My wife left off the peppers and onions and I left everything one. To deal with eating a large messy sandwich in the car we more or less picked out the insides to control it better and ate about half the bread. We also ordered small tater tots as some of the other people waiting inside raved about them. The funny woman who took our order mentioned that the portions were large and she was correct. The tater tots were the only real disappointment. Oh, there was plenty of them, but they were overcooked and dark with way too much salt on them. We couldn't eat them because of all the salt. That was sad because they were otherwise good. Last, they do not have a soda fountain at the moment and only sell bottled soft drinks. As is often the case when small shops do that they have limited selections and this was the case here too. I personally hate diet coke but it's the easy and lazy choice of small business owners to stock. I hope someday they add a few more diet or low sugar soft drinks like Dr. Pepper Zero, Coke Zero, or Pepsi zero. Nearly any Zero drink flavors are far superior to diet Coke and they don't cost any more to stock them, just a bit more thoughtfulness. This is a good start, clearly, the locals love this place, everyone in line acted like their personal marketing and publicists ensuring we appreciated what we were about to purchase. They also have an eclectic and odd bit of nicknacks and things to buy; wresting themed action heroes, t-shirts, and other oddities. Give them a try but maybe get your drink at the nearby gas stations and find somewhere to sit down so you can enjoy the sandwich. Also, ask them to leave the salt on the side of the tater tots.
