My go too for a lighter healthy choice meal! Great service! Clean establishment with friendly staff.

I ate here and I got the worst food poisoning I have ever had in my life i Have been sick all day.

I really love having a chopped leaf in GP! It's always busy, and given that, it could really use more seating. Or we could get another one :) Everything I've tried has been good, and they do bring the food to you if you're staying (still really not enough to warrant expecting a tip in my opinion, but they do ask at the point of payment). Their "fruit infused water" is a pretty clever little idea, but is ridiculously overpriced for water with some fruit in it. They've always followed any customizations I've needed to a "T" but they are really chintzy with it- if I can't have some other kinds of veggie/topping due to an allergy and ask for more of another to compensate, they charge you for "extra ____" regardless of what you're not having, which most places won't do. It's definitely the food I come back for- so nice to see healthier options popping up here! read more

Received one star because I can't give them no stars at all and still leave a review. This is the fourth time I have frequented this location and each visit has been worse than the last. The restaurant is filthy (dead bugs and grainy dirt all along the window ledge) despite the fact they now close on Sundays (only publicized by a curled up almost illegible sign on their door) and it was early Monday evening. The restaurant was almost empty and I waited over 5 minutes at the cash register before being acknowledged by eye contact (only). The cashier seemed put out by having to take an order. I have no idea what we interrupted but it must've been much more important than making a sale. I received my Popeye salad without any feta and the spinach was off and already gone slimy. The prawns were so overdone they were like crunchy rubber. The staff is beyond unfriendly and totally unashamed of serving lousy food and doing nothing to fix it. I think their faces might shatter if they bothered to smile. I spent close to $20 on horribly textured salad rolls, bitter runny peanut sauce and a salad missing its most expensive constituent. I feel robbed. I love the concept and other Chopped Leaf locations but will avoid Grande Prairie's from now on. It's a shame too, we have little in the way of other fresh and fast dining options. read more

I love The Chopped Leaf. Just not this location. The service was terrible. It was dirty. It was close to closing time and the girl cleaning the grill was making ear piercing sounds scraping the grill and laughing and commenting about it. The employees were yelling at each other to the back room for help, then my feet were being bumped by a dirty mop as I was eating. The food seemed a bit less presented than the other locations I've been to, but it might have just been the entire experience. I guess I should have gotten take out. The staff need some better leadership obviously read more

This place should be a four or five star review, as the food is good. The service is lacking however, as I have been in three times in the last two weeks when there were no prawn salad rolls available. Management needs to get involved and show some direction! read more

Solid 3.5/4. Nice to have a light, healthy option for meals in GP. Enjoyed the Sunshine Wrap with mixed greens, cucumbers, mozzarella, avocados and apples with a goddess sauce and a Curry Bowl with brown rice, carrots, nappa cabbage, grilled chicken topped with scallions and peanuts. Sunshine wrap was refreshing and delicious, sweet and crisp apple slices complimented the buttery goodness from avocados and married happily with the goddess sauce/dressing. Curry bowl was a seasonal offering and needed a bit more work. Based on the flavour, it was aiming for a rendition of a Thai or Southeast Asian curry sauce, but the flavours missed the top notes of fresh herbs or the deep earthiness from roasted spices. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal. Space is a bit cramped and the place gets crowded come lunch time, so be warned and order in advance if you don't want to wait too long for orders during busy hours. read more

Fresh clean concept, one of the few in Grande Prairie I've encountered. My wife and I went expecting light fresh and clean food. We weren't disappointed at all. My wife enjoyed her wrap which she also got to design and I had a #1 bowl because of the south/Baja style; the corn salsa/avacado. I felt like something missed the mark on mine. Was expecting more cilantro/avacado and pita maybe? We will return in the future and try more items. read more

Pretty much delicious and nutritious. I would pay the same for a burger and fries, and this place is so much healthier! Lots of variety!

I received great service with help selecting and navigating a new restaurants menu. I chose the Chopped Signature Salad with Shrimp , big enough and delicious. Husband the Bangkok Salad. He loved it and peanuts made it for him. We had trouble locating restaurant and called received friendly guidance. We were in wrong area. It is very close to Michaels. The craft store. They even gave me a bowl of water for my hot dogs. Loved this place. Great experience we will be back read more

The atmosphere is nice, but the food needs improvement. I ordered the prawn salad rolls, something that I always love no matter where I go. The salad rolls at this place were loosely wrapped, and included maybe a sliver of shrimp. The peanut sauce was not good, I've never tasted it that bad before. I was very disappointed with my food and don't plan on returning. Some of the other food might be better, but I'd rather look elsewhere. read more

I'm surprised to see negative reviews, as I have always been happy with their food. Although I've never dined in, I am grateful to have a healthy alternative to the usual fast-food take-out choices. The food is fresh, healthy and my favourite dish (prawn salad rolls) never disappoints. The only drawback is the extremely inefficient layout - the narrow ordering area is only wide enough for a single line of people. read more

I went into grab a hopefully a healthy sandwich at which time I also inquired about being gluten free. I asked how they avoid cross contaminating wheat products with the gluten free products. The girl said they were indeed gluten free but would not guarantee there would not be cross-contamination..I replied "So your not gluten free"..Obviously they do not know the first thing about the need to be gluten free if one has celiac disease...in my son's case 5 hours of vomiting/dry heaving and very painful stomach. Then extremely tired afterward. So couldn't go to Chopped Leaf with him!! So back to the sandwich I went in for...I was waiting a one of the high tables with a perfect view down behind the counter. Two girls came in and talked up the girl behind the counter. While having a conversation the worker reached into her butt crack and scratched vigorously not turning to see if anyone was watching..just kept talking THEN served up their sandwiches as well as mine w/o washing her hands!!!...R-E-A-L-L-Y!?? Soooo what the hell else does she touch on her body when she thinks no one is watching? Gave a star b/c there are no zero stars! Good thing the joint is being sold..ewwwwww!
