Happy to say this venue still holds up really well! The parking situation can be extremely tricky and a headache but thankfully the Ravens managed to provide free parking in a parking garage in the Merriweather district near one of the Pavilion's entrances (I think it's the West enterance(?) I know there's a big bridge and trail you can follow).

Parking was a bit crowded as we arrived shortly before the show started, but it seems like there's ample parking between their private lot, some street parking, and the parking lot for the surrounding shops. I wouldn't have minded if we'd gotten there sooner, so I'm not complaining about that (my own fault for being tardy). The theater itself is super cute. One of the ticket-takers jokingly told us there wasn't a bad seat in the house, and she was right! We sat in the second row and the view was great. Maybe next time we'll be able to sit in the raised stands at the back to look down on the stage instead of up at it. The Wedding Singer was awesome. I knew the musical and loved it, so I was SUPER EXCITED to be able to bring two of my best friends to see it. The cast didn't disappoint, it was beautifully done. There were a few moments with mic issues, but they weren't really noticeable, especially if you weren't familiar with the show itself. They had a merch table set up in the lobby if you wanted to buy tote bags or shirts (I think) to support the theater. I'm not sure if there were refreshments or anything during intermission, and I didn't use the bathroom so I can't comment on that. We left pretty quickly after the show finished, so I can't say if there's an opportunity to chat with and congratulate the cast, but it's a small enough theater that it might be possible? I'll be back for sure -- already making guesses on what Season 19's shows will be and looking forward to them!

I had a strawberry salad with some grilled chicken that was good with the greens, but dry as the desert with the chicken and borderline inedible. Here's the twist!!! My two compadres both had the grilled cheese and lobster sandwich. They both looked at me sheepishly and said, you f ed up!!! William was kind enough to break off a substantial bite and let me try it. Angels sang, children wept, and I almost passed out! They have bands Thu-Sat, and jamming on Sun, and every other week it's open-mike on Wed! A few Saturdays ago, (Sep 2025), we got here at Morgan and Frederick just before the band started at 8 and lucked into one of the tables right up front. I'm guessing there's table seating for around 50, with around another 25 at the bar just to the side, and you can hear and see the band from there, too. There's a colorful fenced deck out back for another 40 or so, but the music might not reach. The wait staff is quick and attentive and friendly, and the drinks are strong. I got my usual jack and coke here, and we got a cranberry-vodka Cape Cod with a lime. They have all kinds of sandwiches, burgers, and salads, and we like the spinach salad because it's fresh with brightly flavored strawberries! Also sprinkled pecans and some crumbled feta cheese if you want. They are happy to adjust it as you like, so we say light on the feta plus a side of balsamic dressing :-). Zingy and tasty! I always always order something from their walleye-fish menu, on the wall by the bar if you dont see it in print. It's a light-flavored whitefish that's perfectly creamy and tender and bone-free, some of the best white fish there is! It's reminds me of whitefish i've had on the shores of the Chesapeake. I've had Morgan Inn's generous fried platter and generous sandwich, and this time we had dinner earlier so i saved room for their lightly-coated piping-hot crispy tender juicy six-or-so walleye bites. And another whiskey-coke from our fun waitress. We got a little blurry :-). We loved this evening's rowdy talented band, Noble Black (Karen, Dan, Gary, and Keith). Even though they play gigs all over the region, we hadn't heard this band before, and they really killed! Mostly hot classic rock, a few country classics, a few bluesy songs ones among those. They walked around with during the show with a live equalizer so there was good sound wherever we wandered! Each of the four musicians added some terrific licks of their own, and I dont know about you, but when the building starts to shake, we get up and dance! We gave their contact info to the place closest to where we live, hoping for an appearance there some time :-) A great evening of loud music, good food and drink, friendly staff, and good loud friendly folks :-) As always!

We love traveling to different line dancing communities, experiencing new places, and connecting with people through dancing. That's what makes situations like this so upsetting. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed and respected, regardless of their religion or appearance. The line dance world is a very connected community, and experiences like this naturally get talked about. I just hope this establishment reflects on the kind of environment they want to create moving forward, because this was deeply disappointing to hear about and unacceptable.
