Came in for a quick lunch with my family. I've been here before, and both the food and service were pretty good. The service was quick, and our server was friendly. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere and is a good place to host events. There are plenty of parking spaces available. The last time I visited, I ordered the crispy chicken biscuit, and it was really good. I would definitely recommend this place.

The ambience is quiet nice, Service also was good. Fast and helpful and friendly... Food was ok but I was expecting the fried oysters a bit more tasty and a bit crispy... Mozeralla pearls was ok

Our server Kyle was very attentive to us even in a busy setting and served us fantastic drinks (in picture). The Hollywood was delicious and definitely did the job. The music was at the perfect volume for conversation too and the bar area looked clean. Will come more often for martinis on Tuesdays (they're half off!)

All of the food was delicious. Each meal had good flavor, good portions, and good happy hour deals. Victorias is a great place for a dinner out, date night, or any kind of occasion. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The chocolate pecan cake was absolutely fantastic. My only complaint is that the kids menu is not for kids. Looking at the menu the options are fine, but the pizza uses spicy sauce, the chicken nuggets are overly crispy and adult-ish, and the fish and chips is just a smaller portion of the adult version. The fish is overly identifiable for a kid. Perhaps this is my picky eaters, but the kids menu is for a near adult kid in my opinion.

Off the bat, the interior is super cute. It's more spacious than it appears from the outside, and had strong Victorian theming. They say you can tell how good a restaurant is based off of their simplest dish. The mozzarella pearls were absolutely delicious. The bread-to-cheese ratio was just right, and their portions were generous. If anything, the sauce was slightly too sweet, but I think it complemented the pearl's seasoning well. I got the oysters Rockefeller and I think they might be the best I've had in Maryland. They fell right off the shell and they weren't gritty. They truly took care while cleaning. My partner got a latte, the cucumber melon refresher, and I got the basil buck. They were super well, balanced, and indeed extremely refreshing. You taste the freshness of the fruit they used in both drink, but no alcohol (which I prefer). For entrees, I got the turkey avocado sandwich and upgraded to duck fat fries, and my partner got victoria's fish and chips. my partner said that for the price, the portions were a bit small and the fish was greasy, heavier than they would have liked. For me, the turkey avocado was tasty, however, it was a little too much meat for me and I found it hard to finish. I fear, that the fries have now changed my life, and I will never be able to eat regular fries again. The duck fat made them feel less greasy than normal, they were seasoned well and definitely addicting! I'll be back, and when I do, I'm beelining for the poutine.

This place is great. They have an amazing menu that has some seasonal offerings as well. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is relaxed while giving an upscale pub feel. I got the fish sandwich and it was to die for. I've had other dishes that have been tasty here too and when I am in the area I always consider stopping by.

It's been a while since I've had a Sunday-Funday. Was looking to go out with some friends but ended up having a solo Sunday. Since I came out pretty late I went to Victoria Gaston Pub for Happy Hour. It's a nice size restaurant with a cool bar area. On Sundays they also have Breakfast from 10am-2pm and Happy Hour from 2pm-Close. A few things I tried were the Banana Pie Waffles: Really good, but Really Really Sweet. Recommend sharing or getting a side of bacon to break the sweetness with something salty. Crab stuffed Deviled Eggs: more like of Crab topped deviled eggs. Really good filling and the Oldbay chips are a good topping. Cafe Victoria Brunch Cocktail, it's a hot drink.. it doesn't say that on the menu. It's good but I would order it at the end of my meal as a dessert Cocktail because it's sweet. The Port Authority was my favorite of the cocktails. It's Bourbon, Tawny Port, Cherry Brandy. Alcohol taste with a bit of sweetness. If you're an Old Fashioned fan and want to try something different but not too far off I think this is a good one to try. The bartender let me try the Nitro Espresso Martini as it's in tap. Tasty but basic Espresso Martini to me. Things I want to try on my next visit: Dubai Chocolate Tart, Pancake Charcuterie, Duck Fat Reuben, Mocha Boulevardier Cocktail ... it's Rye based and the Pear & Honey N/A Mule. I feel bad because I only remember one bartenders name... Jason.. both were great, but hes a great bartender.. Friendly, makes good drinks, not too over bearing but attentive...ask for him when you visit.

Finally stopped into Victorias on a weekend this winter! It's right by the house I moved into and I'm so excited about being in proximity to this establishment! The restaurant interior feels like a tavern, lots of wood but tasteful decor and a homey vibe. The bar is spacious and they've made the dining room feel more private with dividers which I liked. The bathrooms were clean! The mozzarella balls were delicious and the portion was massive. After 8 cheese balls I barely had room for my dinner! My boyfriend enjoyed his steak and I liked my sandwich. Our server was attentive and the food came out pretty fast! I'd love to return as I know they have some great beers and ciders on tap! Can't wait to try more of their expansive menu.

It's a nice pub. Pretty busy for weekday. Food and service were great. Oysters just so perfect. Fresh. And meaty. Salad with steak - steak cooked just how i liked it. Grits with shrimp looked delicious on my partners plate. Def a cool spot for a simple dinner/ lunch.

I used to frequent VCP when I worked nearby, and haven't been back for a few years. We were in the area doing a little shopping and I was really excited to stop in for lunch over the weekend! The inside decor is gorgeous, the dark wood gives it a warm, cozy, timeless feel, and the decorations make you feel like you're in a palace - especially those big wooden doors leading to the patio area. Our service was a little on the slow side but our server was super friendly and attentive. It was a weekend and not super packed, so we were happy to sip our espresso martinis and wait a bit. For lunch, I had the American Dip and absolutely loved it. It was a twist on a French dip with a delicious pesto, the bread was delicious and not too crunchy, and the meat was super tender. My husband had the Angus Black Burger with all the fixings and bleu cheese and he crushed it, it was barely on his plate before it was gone. Love VCP and the food is some of the best American you'll find in the area!

It has been a minute since I have visited Victoria's Gastro Pub. The bar is fully stocked and there is a generous dining area. On this visit, I tried the hot-honey baked 1/2 chicken with waffles and cream spinach. The chicken was tender and juicy. The hot-honey glaze had a little heat and was sweet. The waffle with honey or syrup was an unexpected nice touch. The creamy spinach was to creamy from me. In all, the meal was great and that 1/2 chicken was awesome.

Tasty, well made food! Only certain menu items appealed to me, so I got them for lunch as a carry out. Their paprika fries were SO good and I'm selective and don't care much for fries, but they had a great crunch, seasoning, and were just perfect. The Blackened Fish Tacos were good and better than what I was expecting- good flavor. The fish from the Fish & Chips was way too salty for my liking, but it had good breading it probably was my least favorite item due to the high sodium content. The crispy Brussel sprouts in the orange soy vinaigrette was chefs kiss. In the past, I tried a bite of their famous Chocolate Praline Cake which was heavenly. Overall, they do a great job in the food and you can tell the menu items while simple, have thought put into the flavor and execution of the dishes.

This place used to be my stomping ground for HH and dinner. However, the quality of food ain't as good as it used to be. These are just two pictures I saved but I've had numerous meals where it wasn't the same. Service is always good and ambiance is still nice. I think they need to upkeep the quality of food to compete with some other nice restaurants

Is there a rental fee to use the private dining room? I have a group of 20-30. Is it individual orders from the menu or must we have a set catering menu?

Thank you for the inquiry! We do not charge a rental fee for private rooms. Instead, we have a food and beverage required minimum in order to close to room. This amount changes based on time and day of the week. We can offer an "off menu" event,…

Is there a relatively quiet area where a conversation can take place? Too many places these days play loud music that then you can no longer here in the din of the conversation, but makes it almost impossible to hear each other.

Yes, I think you can find a quiet table there. Either in the dining room or outside tent, as long as you're not seated near the bar.

Is parking nearby? Menu looks great, but one member of the party has walking problems. Do have handicap placard.

There's parking around the restaurant, and handicapped spaces near the front door.

    Casual is fine

Do you charge gratuity on takeout?

    No to my knowledge.

    Do they have Vegan options?

Yes, their menus are online, but they have salads and a veggie sandwich. I'm sure they have more if you check their website.

Do you guys have good gluten free options?

Does it get really loud at dinner time?

I've never had trouble hearing my party during dinner, and we have been there weekends. It's nice that there are different things so that helps keep the noise level down.

    When does the kitchen close?

Hi! Sun - Thurs: we stop serving dinner at 10PM. And stop serving our Late Night Bar Menu at…

Do they have regular fries? I'm a vegetarian and love fries, so obviously I don't want the duck fat fries.

Yes... we have regular fries (just fried in peanut oil and seasoned. no duckfat) that come with our sandwiches! Just tell your server your dietary needs and they'll be happy to accommodate you. Hope to see you soon.

Oddly enough, it was pretty quiet, but they do have the games on for anyone looking for a low-key spot to watch. We were seated within 5 minutes, which I appreciated. Our server, Patrick, was... okay. Not terrible, but definitely felt new to serving. We didn't get the rundown of the daily specials (yet overheard them being given to the booth behind us), and a few small service details slipped through--but I'm giving him grace based on his newness. One thing I noticed from Yelp reviews is that bread is usually served automatically. We had to request it, especially after seeing tables seated after us get theirs first. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. We ordered several appetizers, and honestly, they were filling enough to be a full meal: * Ribs - Flavorful, tender, and genuinely falling off the bone. The portion sizes were a bit inconsistent--some pieces were cut shorter than others--but the texture was on point. I'd definitely return for these. * Brussels Sprouts - Patrick didn't mention they were shareable, which would've been helpful. I did like the flavor, but in hindsight I'm glad we pivoted to... * Crab Dip - This one missed for me. The flavor leaned more tuna-ish than crab-forward. Not my preference, but you may feel differently. * Shrimp in Spicy Butter - Definitely spicy, but somehow still flavorless. More like spicy water than a seasoned butter sauce. The one bonus? They were served piping hot--exactly how I like my food. * French Fries - Hand-cut and tasty. A solid win. Unfortunately, everything except the shrimp came out lukewarm, which took away from dishes that could've been great. Temperature matters! On the drink side, though? Hits all around. The fresh-pressed beet juice was fantastic, and the sweet tea was also on point. We skipped dessert only because we were full, but I'm already planning to come back specifically to try it--along with the ribs and fries again. Overall, I'm hoping this was just an off day. Elliott's Kitchen has potential, and I'd like to see it shine on the next visit
