This place popped up on my TikTok a few weeks ago. I sent the video to a few people and said I wanted to try it, I love horchata and a mazipan horchata sounded so good!) I was driving from Portland to Eugene yesterday, and planned to stop for some food and a drink somewhere. I remembered this place and to my surprise it wasn't far off the 5 at all. I thought there is no way a coffee stand can have good tacos and burritos, one is going to be good, the other is going to be mediocre at best. I'm happy to say I thought wrong. I got a dulce de leche cookie butter latte and a mazapan horchata with espresso. I wasn't sure how to order that online so I don't know if I got the drink I saw online, it might've been cold brew? But it was delicious still. Both drinks were really good, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cookie butter latte. Both were excellent. I also got a cowboy burrito. The first bite I knew I made a good choice. I don't know if it was the meat, rice, beans, avocado salsa or the combination but the flavor was incredibly. I did the order online and asked for no sour cream, and it was accurate, it shouldn't be impressive, but places love to put sour cream on things, and so it's a big deal to me. It was hot and was a big burrito. I couldn't even eat half. The salsa was also really tasty. Staff was friendly, easy to order online, ready when they said it would be. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. It will be a must stop anytime I drive by Salem!

This little drive thru is a gem! Such a quick stop for some delicious coffees and the wake ya butt up breakfast burrito (not pictured, we were too eager). The staff were friendly and included salsas with the burrito. The mazapan latte came with a mazapan and that made me soo giddy. Both drinks were delicious. I'd 100% recommend both of these. The horchata tastes exactly like horchata with a little caffeine kick. The mazapan has little pieces of mazapan in it with such a strong flavor and nice kick of caffeine. I recommend!

This simple little drive up kiosk in the wilds of Salem serves up boss Mexican food and coffee. It made us so happy. My cell phone sadly died and I drove from Lincoln City to drop of the corpse and back again a week later to pick it up.I was accompanied by my hungry 22 year old and his sole focus was, where are we getting lunch, Mom? I had seen reviews of this place a few times online, so I knew where I needed to go. I miss delicious Mexican food so much. I got a quesadilla al pastor for $7.99 I asked for sour cream and avocado salsa which she said they would put inside ( it came next to it, which was fine). The quesadilla almost made me cry it was that good. It had that savory orange Mexican food grease like I grew up with in Arizona that sounds bad but if you know you know.It was grilled perfectly. The avocado salsa was terrific. The pastor and pico inside were yummy. They have iced tea on their menu but actually haven't served it in years, she said. Ok. I got a $2 diet Pepsi because I am avoiding sugar. The coffees looked good tho' The kid got a Cowboy burrito with carne asada and all the toppings and a chocolate horchata. We were given a handful of red and green salsas, both tasty. He was very happy with both his picks and the salsas. Our total was $27. I handed her $30 with $6 in my hand ready to tip her. After she put all $30 in the till and shut her drawer with no comment, l I figured, well, she got a $3 tip then. On our second visit ( what? You think we would go to a new place?) , I got the same quesadilla again, not asking for sauces, and kid got his same horchata but loaded tater tots covered in toppings. She asked, red or green salsa? Green! She gave us our change. I tipped them. We drove away. Kid loved his tots and horchata. My quesadilla was good, not quite as grilled to perfection as the first one but still good. But our bag had zero salsas, which was tbh such a bummer. ( So check your bag before you drive away, you wanna make sure the salsas are in there). We will totally go again next time we are in Salem, but we wll be asking for the change and double checking for salsas in the future. I am gonna get chilaquiles next time! If you'd like to eat there I spotted some picnic tables out back, FYI.

This was fallnin a cup! And iced caramel horchata chai. It was delicious, quick service and the drink didn't last long. Similarly priced to places like Starbucks but it was still really tasty. I will say I expected more coffee and tea options based on the name I thought coffee bean but there were more taco options.

Tried out The Chubby Bean in Salem and it hit the spot! There's a parking lot if you want to walk up and order at the window or you can go through the drive-thru. They have a couple of tables outside if you want to hang out and eat there. The staff were friendly and our food came out really fast. We ordered for two and got the following- Marzipan horchata: it was sweet and nutty with a hint of cinnamon Chilaquiles with carne asada: big portion that could easily feed two. Al pastor taco plate: it came with 3 tacos, rice and refried beans. Everything tasted authentic. Both entrees came with a spicy red salsa and a milder green one. It's a great spot for a quick and tasty bite.

First time at The Chubby Bean drive-thru and we were seriously impressed! I ordered the chicken taco plate, which came with rice and beans -- everything was incredibly flavorful and so satisfying. My husband got the wet chicken burrito, and it was packed with flavor. He also tried the dulce cold brew and loved it! We found this spot on TikTok and made the drive all the way from Portland -- totally worth it. If you're anywhere near the Salem area, I highly recommend checking this place out. Everything we tried was top tier!

Hard to order because the speaker was hard to hear. Ladies were just very dry and not very friendly. Or maybe it's my own fault for being such a Dutch girlie.. We ordered 3 different coffees, one was mazapán strawberry, one was duvalin blended and a duvalin iced. I asked for the strawberry mazapán blended and my order was repeated back and I confirmed blended and it was given to me iced. When I asked her if I hadn't ordered blended she said no, and I know I did because it was repeated after order was taken. The drinks were very similar in taste and the mazapán was nowhere to be found. Also upon getting my drinks handed, the cups were overflowing and no one even bothered cleaning them before handing them to me. I had to hunt down napkins from my glove box to wipe them myself. The little girl working at the window was very clueless about taking payments and wiping cups down. I had very high expectations as it was all over my fyp on tik tok. Visiting from Bend I had to make a stop. Honestly not worth the hype.

I found this place through tik tok. I was so excited to try all of their drinks, they looked so tasty and turns out my drink was amazing!!! I told the lady I had never been there before but wanted to try a drink. She went through all of the drinks with me explaining them and asked what I liked. I told her they sounded all amazing, so I said just surprise me. She made me a Dulce De Leche Cookie Butter Latte and it was sooooo good!!! While I was waiting she gave me a sample of mazapan candy to try, as I told her I have never had that before. They were so nice and friendly and drink was delicious!! I want to go back and try more drinks and their food! Please go support this local business!!

First time going and definitely not gonna be my last! It's a drivethrough food stand for reference! Boyfriend and I tried some tacos ($2), a burrito ($10), and a strawberry horchata chai and a mangonada. Everything was literally great! Drinks were super tasty, tacos and burrito were very well portioned & packed with meat which is appreciated. Salsa verde was perfection. My new favorite salem spot for sure. Variety of food and drinks on the menu, excited to try other things next time. Service was super quick and friendly.

First off!!! That Pumpkin spice Mocha was bomb!!! It's a must to try!!! We always get blessed with them carne asada chilaquiles, Chubby Dub, tacos and drinks! Y'all just need to try out their bomb menu!!! Highly recommended!!! Excellent service!!!

I've been to the chubby bean a few times now & I will be back for more! This last time I got their asada burrito 10/10 and the horchata latte 6/10. The drink wasn't my fave and I don't think I would get it again, but they have so many drink options I will be back to try others! The service is very quick from the moment you order to when you get your items. The menu can be a little overwhelming but that isn't a bad thing, there is something for everyone. There is only 1 picnic table outside so this is very much a drive thru and eat in your car or at home situation.
