It has some comfortable seating around, so we ordered beers at the bar and sat outside. They had 12 (I believe) beers on tap - 10 of thier own and 2 NA ones from somewhere else. As a self proclaimed beer snob, none were really that great.

I can't recall the specific beer I had, but I know they were out of my preferred Porter. I didn't try any food, but it seemed like they had a lot of activities, such as scheduled bingo games. It seemed very team or family-oriented. The atmosphere was chill and peaceful, depending on the time of day. Parking is street parking , which I believe is free after a certain period. There are food trucks, but they close around eight, and I think the establishment does too. Be aware that if you enter from the Franklin street, there's no direct access, so you have to go around the building, which was a bit confusing for me. Other than that, I plan to return and check them out. They have some good drink options, but Olympia is quite a distance from Spanaway, so if I visit again, I might stay at a hotel nearby and enjoy the experience. I recommend checking them out.

But the inattentive and semi-passive FOH staff made it difficult…read more They're still a newer storefront in Oly, in time they may grow and reflect better customer service. Pros: Chill lounge/sitting area at the front corner with sofas, a low bar (accessibility friendly) and board games. Big tables to accommodate groups and various bar seating. Large brewery menu screens with large range and the food looked good. Tbh we came for brews so can't comment on food. The Wildman Beer brand was so-so. Some better than others! Cons: FOH staff interaction. Why we love pubs/breweries is because of the chill, friendly, conversational flow of FOH; their knowledge of the beers and/or cocktails, their passion for sharing it with new customers so they come back again and again ... this vibe fell short at Wildman. TL;DR Good for a basic group of people looking for a brewery experience in town with room for large groups. Not for those who are expecting an awesome brewery experience -- a la PDX, DEN, PHX, ATX or SEA.

But when I saw that they opened up a location in Olympia and Steve and I were going to Olympia for a show it made perfect sense to go to this new location. Downtown where our show was is super walkable and this brewery is right there. When we went in what escaped my attention at the Raymond location was that I was particularly impressed with their own mead selection. And the mead did not disappoint in the slightest. The first mead I had was their Oak Aged Classic Mead. Such fantastic balance in body and the oak flavor was truly impressive! I got another mead from the list, the Sneaky Bastard Meer. It's called meer I believe due to the five different kinds of hops they put into it. Great floral and honey flavored highlights! Our experience here was excellent! Steve enjoyed his drink selections as well! Definitely returning for more mead enjoyment!

To begin with, the buffet was single sided which created a long line to get food. When we got to the buffet, they were out of plates and every pan was empty. Other tables around us were waiting for plates and food also. When the food finally came, it was underwhelming. Avocado toast wasn't toasted, just sliced avocado on bread. The chicken for chicken and waffles was dry and the waffles were empty every time we went to check for more. The eggs Benedict was bland and not warm. If you are going to do brunch, please plan ahead with enough servers and have a plan to keep food out. Having to continually wait for food and then to find it flavorless was disappointing. Our server didn't take our plates and it's a good thing because they were always out of plates. I guess we had hoped for a better experience. I'd recommend passing on brunch here. Maybe their other menu items are good but based on the limited options we tried, I doubt it. Save you money and even more so, your time. Go elsewhere. I'm sorry I had to apologize to my mother for this experience.
