Chicken Wings / Peanut Sauce - we did request extra peanut sauce - crispy and delicious
    Lisa M.

Angie was an awesome server helping with popular (not just the most expensive) choices. We went for drinks & snacks. Creative cocktail menu - but with all the staples. No skimp on my Bulleit Old Fashioned - it was a FULL pour cocktail!! We had yummy Chicken Wings (Peanut Sauce) / Fish Tacos / we split the Crab Roll with fries (expensive but worth it.) The Baby Boomer/GenExer muzac was nice as was the decor. We've been during live music - they have a perfect setup for a live band - but didn't do full menu that night. This visit was intimate; Angie (and all the staff) made it an enjoyable experience.

First and foremost the smell and ambience is what brought us in. Fries perfectly fried in rosemary and spices. The fish was crisp and the taste is something I can only describe as luscious. Fresh, juicy, crisp and mouthwatering. The drinks are so well made and presented I was actually surprised at the cost. Come down during happy hour for a perfectly made meal, a good drink on the cheap and superb service.

Overall, I thought we had a pleasant experience. We came for lunch on the weekend after visiting the Children's Museum. The atmosphere was chill. There was plenty of seating with open tables. Thankfully, we had the foresight to order the kids food first because they were hungry and food was coming out of the kitchen slower than what I expected. The ordering of drinks was a little clunky when we had one person sit down after us at our own table was offered drinks before the people who already sitting. Let's talk about the real star of the afternoon. The food was delicious. I had one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had in a long while. The side of fries was crispy and delicious. Our entire party enjoyed their food and overall, I'm happy we came here and I hope to come back soon. Outside of some quirkiness with the ordering and food timing, our actual Server was pleasant and I was quite happy with most aspects of the customer service experience.

Greeted at the door and seated immediately!! Hit happy hour at 12 which includes a selection of foods and drinks. Husband got the happy hour smash burger and I got the cup of chowder ..... soooooooooo goooood!!! I also got the crab roll and it did not disappoint garlic butter dipping sauce not needed but compliments extremely well. Perfectly crispy fries with a few dipping sauce options - we were a house divided as I loved the garlic aioli and my husband fell in love with the goop!! Ambiance was very breezy relaxed atmosphere and would highly recommend

Service was great and very fast. My sandwich was perfectly cooked and flavorful! Pretty sure the onions were left off, but it was still great!

Pretty pricey meal at $35 for me for my old fashioned lavender bourbon drink and pear goat cheese flatbread prosciutto. The food was good, yes. The drink was not my type of drink, but my friend, dulcutie, loved it. She especially loved the cherries, which I could see why if we just consider the aftertaste. I was just overwhelmed with the alcohol soaked in it when I took the first bite. Service was attentive and actively tending to the table. Went by pretty quick with the serving times, so kitchen was putting down like the waitresses were. Very dark hues to the furniture and dim lighting. High chairs, booths, and regular tables offered as seating arrangements, which is good for couples, bigger parties, and families. Bar counter included, too, which is best. Not tight between each table, which I appreciated. Plenty of street parking, especially if you come after 1800 or 6PM on a weekday like we did. No need to pay for parking if by then, too.

My daughter and I showed up on a Monday evening around 6pm to a very busy restaurant. We did not have reservations but still were seated quickly to an enormous wooden booth, best seat in the place in my opinion, I almost felt like royalty. The vibes were good, the service was great, everyone kind and attentive without being pushy and in our face. My daughter ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and a Mistletoe Margarita. I got the Prime Rib and a Rosemary Gin Spritz. We both agreed the food looked amazing, but was just ok in flavor. My prime rib was a little over medium rare, but perfect prime rib is very hard to find in Washington it seems. Our tab came to $91.97 which is average for what we ordered. I will be back with my husband so he can experience this establishment as well and I can try something else on the menu.

Delicious dinner. Stopped by for a quick meal and a drink in a Sunday evening. The Happy hour menu is long and available on Sunday until 8 pm. Love the upscale family vibe that is conservative on the wallet.

We went on a Monday night for a birthday, it wasn't packed but a decent crowd. Our server seemed disinterested in us and any requests made by my party. The drinks were delicious though! We got the Brussels sprouts and salmon dip for starters and those Brussels are one of the best things I've ever had. The salmon dip was good as well but the star was the Brussels. The kids chicken tenders are delicious and the smash burger was so good. The garlic fries were amazing! The salmon picatta was okay. I felt the noodles were too sweet but the salmon was really good. The ambiance however , while good when we started out it got Smokey very quick to the point my eyes were watering . Definitely needing better ventilation in there.

Walked in at 8pm on a Sunday. It looked pretty slow, so I asked if the kitchen was still open, they said yes. Bartender said I could sit anywhere I'd like. Most of the booths along the perimeter wall were dirty and hadn't been bussed, so I must've just missed the football crowd. Found a table, and a large party of 8 came in, right after me. After taking my drink order, the server says I have 10 minutes to order because they're closing the kitchen. They close at 10pm. The server comes back with my drink, an opened bottle of ginger beer and says sorry I had to use half of your ginger beer to make another drink, I won't charge you for this one... it was flat anyway. I ordered a half a salad, no complaints. Ordered Fish & Chips, asked for it to be a little crispy; fish comes out like jerky. I get the check, and what a surprise, the ginger beer was on the bill. No use wasting energy pointing it out, because it was clear they couldn't care less. Unfortunately, this is a one and done; service was terrible, food was not great.

Enjoyed Cove. Was quiet on a Sunday afternoon but was excited to find that they had a Sunday afternoon happy hour menu. Will be back to check out Brunch sometime as well. Cute space and staff was pleasant.

To my surprise, the place was packed with customers on a Sunday afternoon. I expected a slower pace, but it was anything but. The atmosphere was lively, with people playing pool and enjoying themselves. One of the unique features of this pub is a table game that many of you may not be familiar with. It's called Table Shuffleboard, and it's one of my favorites. I've played it a few times in Alaska, and it's a great game. To play, you simply request the pucks from the servers, and it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. We ordered a couple of beers, which were fairly decent. I had the Irish Death, and my friend opted for some of the commercialized beers like Blue Moon. They also ordered some wings, which they said were very good. They recommended that if you want extra crispy wings, you should have them fried hard. The sweet potato fries were cold, but the bartender was quick to take care of that. She brought us a fresh batch in a matter of minutes. The customer service was excellent throughout our visit. I'm giving this pub a three out of five stars. I'd like to come back and try some of the food, especially in the game day environment. I'm a vegetarian, so I didn't eat much of the food we had, but I'll definitely come back and try it again. I'll also come at night to see how it is before I consider upgrading the rating. Overall, I'll be returning to this pub for a second experience.

Now I was influenced by all the tik tok videos I'd seen of this place.i thought ooo this place looks good! I wasn't prepared. Not at all. My husband and I went around10:30 on a Friday and checked in at the front, signed our name up and waited for maybe 3 minutes. Got seated very very fast and started spying on the tables around us, you know " a fact finding mission" Need to see what others are ordering and saying. They have a large menu and a really good variety of breakfast and sides as well. This was great for me because I wanted a waffle. A big waffle with butter and syrup.... Plus to try something more adventurous. They brought us out a sweet cornbread with I think Marion Berry butter. So so good. I ordered the Beechers brisket hash and the side waffle. Chris ordered the strawberry agave mimosa and the BBB. Food came out within 10 minutes and was hot and smelled Devine. Look at the photos. I mean, what else needs to be said? Everything, every single thing was phenomenal. There was no weak dish. Hashbrowns were cooked to perfection, brisket melted in your mouth. The hollandaise sauce plentiful and delicious. The waffle was huge. They actually asked how I wanted my eggs and listened! Best over hard eggs! I love that the syrup is on the table because I covered that waffle in syrup and when they give you those little mini things of syrup it kills the vibe. So River of delicious maple syrup aplenty, I do appreciate the little containers of butter as I can't be trusted with butter and waffles I'd have gained 20 pounds from the butter alone. Smart guys very smart. Our sever was fantastic, they were busy busy but he took the time to listen to us try to express how impressed we were. We were mid food coma at this point. I don't think we were forming words, just excited food nosies. Now, the 3 pound cinnamon roll. We took this bad boy to go. My husband is big on cinnamon rolls and considers himself essentially an all knowing cinnamon bun being. 10/10 they are sweet fluffy and smothered in frosting. ( I am unfortunately allergic to cinnamon but he assures me it was the best) Prices, honestly I thought it was going to be way more expensive. The plating of the food alone looks expensive. The food was so good I forgot we did eventually have to pay the check. But when it came my flabbers were gasted. $60 for 2 very large breakfasts, a side waffle that wasn't a side at all it was huge Belgium waffle a mimosa and the 3pound $14 by itself fyi cinnamon roll. We took probably half our food home and had dinner and breakfast the next day. It was tons of food. I even joked to my Husband that I might not leave this review because I don't wanna make it busier than it is so we could keep it quiet so we could come back all the time. This place is worth waiting for. It will be a regular stop for us moving forward. If you are reading this, do yourself a favor and just go just go and experience it for yourself. It will not disappoint.
