Best Pizza in town. Cold beer. Good pool tables. Friendly patrons. Clean bathrooms, casual atmosphere. Worth the visit.

I had honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten here today! First off, the focaccia…read morebread was a time amazing - soft, yet sturdy enough to hold the immense amount of goodies inside, I'd truly eat that bread every single day if I could. (Pro tip, they sell it separately and had I realized how incredible it was before I left I would have brought some home). Secondly, the vegetarian fillings were fresh, perfect avocado, fresh tomato, lovely red peppers with a nice slice of Swiss and some fresh lettuce. It was heavenly. It's maybe a tad expensive, but considering the freshness and the bonus blueberry bread and chips they included I did not mind at all. The guy worming was very nice (and made an incredible sandwich) but the woman, who I'm guessing was the owner, seemed a little put off to have to make stuff. I'm only docking them a point because of the somewhat awkward feeling and slightly stale atheistic of the place. But honestly, it was clean and they are clearly putting out a bunch of fresh, homemade goodies so I can absolutely look past that all. Next time I'm in the area I'll be back and I'll be loading up on their fresh bread...and probably a pastry or cookie or something else yummy.

Well I for one appreciate a ruggalah this far from home. This place must have a history and I yearn…read more to know it, but I probably never will.

Then I saw their TikTok last night, and let me tell you, that video had me craving it instantly. The scrumptiousness was living rent free in my brain all night, so today my son and I had to stop in and see what the hype was about. We ordered the Sour Diesel, the Fire, and the Afgoo, all on their toasted jalapeño cheese bread. First of all, the female employee who helped us was so friendly and welcoming. We do not eat out much, so we were genuinely excited and maybe a little impatient to try them. When they handed us the sandwiches, I immediately noticed how heavy they were. And the smell in the car on the way home, oh my goodness. Pure torture waiting to unwrap them. Then we got home and opened them up, and I was honestly shocked in the best way. There was actually a MEAL on that bread. Not one of those sad sandwiches that's 80 percent lettuce and air. These were loaded. My teenage son even commented on how good his was, and trust me, teen approval is not handed out lightly. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and each sandwich was totally unique and delicious. I can confidently say I have found a new favorite sub spot. Total hidden gem if you love a good sandwich that actually fills you up and tastes incredible. I did not grab a shake this time because it was freezing outside, but after seeing all the flavor options on the menu, I will absolutely be trying one next visit. Highly recommend in every aspect. I love when you try somewhere new and it completely exceeds expectations. This one is a must try.

The food is outstanding. Their gyros are fantastic generous portions of tender, flavorful meat (lamb or beef), fresh veggies, and that perfect tzatziki sauce wrapped in a warm pita. The fried rice is spot-on too: loaded, well-seasoned, and super satisfying with great texture. And don't sleep on the sandwiches--they're fresh, hearty, and made just right every time. Everything tastes homemade and comes out quick, which is perfect after a long day. What really sets this place apart is how convenient it is for grabbing small grocery items on the way home from work. They stock all the essentials without the big-store hassle, and the prices are fair. The super friendly family who runs it makes every visit feel welcoming they're always smiling, chatting with customers, and genuinely happy to help. It's that small-town warmth that keeps people coming back. If you're in Belfair or driving through Hood Canal area, stop in you won't be disappointed. Great food, friendly service, and a handy stop for everyday needs. Highly recommend!

Bonus: this spot is kosher! Potato Latkes (5/5): These latkes are thick boys and fried up so they're piping hot when they hit the table. Because of their size, you really get the contrast of the hard crunch on the outside with super fluffy potato inside. So good we immediately turned around and ordered more. Chocolate Babka (2/5): This was truly the only miss I've had here. Unfortunately, the babka just really dries out after it's been sliced, which is a shame because it's just gorgeous with generous swirls of chocolate inside. Reuben (5/5): I really thought their pastrami couldn't be beat, but the brisket is dare I say better? Just as tender and feels a bit less fatty, so it's a little more crushable. Tip: go for the seeded rye over the marbled rye; something about the marbled rye just falls apart a bit more with the juices of the meat, though it's still delicious! Black & White Cookies (4/5): I expected this to be cloyingly sweet, but this was actually scrumptious with some fresh lemon flavor in the cookie itself. Absolutely massive as well.

Do you happen to live in Washington and miss said pastrami sando? My friend, I have good news for you. Dingfelder's pastrami is a dead ringer for that sandwich: huge slices of melt-in-your-mouth pastrami, regular and half sour pickles, and all the other accoutrements you'd expect from a legit Jewish deli. This place doesn't screw around. If you want a great, hearty, flavor-packed sandwich, this is one of the best places to throw your money. But, as others have pointed out, it's no cheap date: expect to pay over $20 for one of those mighty pastrami sandwiches. This isn't Subway so you're not saving money by eating here, but after one bite of their pastrami you'll understand why you're paying so much. Quality isn't cheap. I'd say this place is tied with Tat's Deli for the best sandwiches in Seattle.
