She knows a lot of vendors in the area, and was able to get us deals that we could not get on our own. She did all of the research and presented us with 2-3 options for each vendor that fit both our preferences and budget, so all of the stress was taken out of wedding planning. She also helps create a budget at the very beginning and helps you stick to that budget. She also creates very detailed timelines and makes sure the day of goes very smoothly. We picked out the location where my daughter had her heart set on and as the day approached, the weather was not looking good at all. The day of the wedding, it showed strong thunderstorms to begin about the time guests were set to arrive, so they had set everything up for the back up rain plan, which was still beautiful. About an hour before guests were to arrive, the radar was showing the rain would move just around where we were for the time of the ceremony. Knowing how much my daughter loved the original space, the owners Shelley and Shawn, got straight to work and moved everything to the space she had her heart set on. They went above and beyond throughout the entire process to help in any possible way you could imagine. Everyone had a wonderful time and couldn't stop gushing about how beautiful everything was! The venue is amazing and working with Shelley and Shawn made it that much more amazing! The venue features two distinct, yet cohesive spaces with an outdoor open-air ceremony space with rows of seating and a backdrop of a small pond and then a large classic white barn featuring a large indoor space, a covered patio and a fire pit area. The barn itself is spacious, bright and warm. The table set up and table settings are gorgeous and perfectly manicured for the event at hand. Bathrooms are easily accessible and there are multiple entry and exit points, making for a nice flow during the event. Staff was friendly and helpful, and always available. They were directing traffic, guiding folks to their seats, pointing folks to the restrooms, cleaning up or just being available when needed. Parking seems to be ample, but does fill up very quickly, so best to be early to whatever event you are attending. Entrance to the venue is easy to miss, so be careful when looking for it, especially if it is at night. The road is windy coming in, and opens up to a beautiful landscape with the outdoor venue straight ahead and the barn up on the hill. The backdrop for the venue is excellent all around. If you have never been to Beechgrove before, be prepared and make all your pitstops before getting off the exit. For a few miles, the only things are this venue and a nearby Shell station. I had hoped that having a twelve year old, and myself, monitoring the younger children and immediately stopping them from throwing the balls out of the play boxes, as well as picking up the couple that actually got out, would have been most adequate. Unfortunately, what they offer is not even close to being worth having 2 1/2 year old children screamed at while an idiot shakes a finger three inches from their nose. Seriously! My 2 year old child was TRAUMATIZED! She not immediately backed off after being addressed by me (my 12 year old daughter was also shocked and speakless) after I ran to stop the abuse. I am not able in good consicious to return while that abuser works there! I have video (several) and pictures that clearly show that one of my 12 year old twins were constantly monitoring each of my 2 1/2 year olds and that I was almost constantly going back and forth monitoring as well, with an occasional break to sit by my wife. We do not understand what that womans issue was, since the children did nothing significant. They simply got into the boxes with the featherweight balls and threw one or two each, on two occasions, while the 12 year old monitor immediately secured tiny hands and I picked up the balls that got away.
