I asked if we could sit on the porch and she just shrugged and walked off. This hotel needs a good cleaning. The porches which should have been inviting at this time of year were fifty. The carpet in our room was worn and dirty and our shower had mold in it. We stayed the entire weekend and had breakfast and supper there. The breakfast was really good and the suppers were okay but not what would expect at Red Boiling Springs. The other two historic hotels appeared to be much better. We did the entire spa which was one vibrating bed and one heat bed and a mineral bath in footed bathtubs. It was very pleasant and relaxing. After this the hosts were more polite and seemed to be happier than when we arrived. I do not recommend it.

Once we settled on things, it only made sense to have them cater brunch the following day. On the day of the main event, I was there while they were setting up and they seemed to be operating like fine machinery. They were quietly setting up, everyone seemed to know their role and things got done very quickly. The food was absolutely wonderful! Everyone enjoyed the buffet style meals, the dessert station and they also provided staffing for the bar, and she was also awesome! Then, they came out of nowhere to clean-up. They quietly did their thing and you barely noticed their presence while they got things done. The following day, they delivered brunch, along with all of the wrapped up left-overs from the reception. We did not have to worry about packing anything up and getting it to our house, they just brought it all out with brunch and it worked out perfectly for us. Okay, but can we just talk about that hash-brown casserole for a minute? OMG! So good!!!!!!!! Everything was so good. I love this place. You get dinner with the package. The first time we had baked chicken & veggies and it was pretty good. This last time I'm just going to say the meals need some improvement. This was a treat and I loved every minute of it, most of the staff was amazing. I went with a group of friends as a last minute stand it and I will go back. The younger man (I think he was running it) came up on stage with so much energy and gave us a lot of tips and pointers to look for! The food was good, you could tell the kitchen staff knows what they are doing. The only complaint I think I would have is the older woman that checked us in, I couldn't tell if she was drunk, high or both and she was definitely not personable.
