Please remember that it will take some time to get your pieces back, as it requires time to dry and then bake. They estimated 3 weeks. They ship or if you're local, you can pick up your pieces. Showed us the basics of making simple things like bowls and cups. Then walked us through making our own creations. This was a perfect 9th year Anniversary date it was in a great location, off of the beaten path, on a big hill overlooking the beautiful woods of Tennessee :). I honestly could have spent HOURS here just continuing to learn and play with clay. We did a "private event" for our anniversary so it was just us. I've taken the ceramics classes here with a focus on wheel throwing and I love it! Becca is an awesome instructor and allows the class to be free to create, but also helps to steer you in the right direction. I'll be taking the summer class here in May. I've been throwing on the wheel off and on for about 15 years now and the intermediate class offered here is perfect for shaking off the cobwebs. They do offer beginner ceramic classes if you're looking to just dip your toe into the ceramic slip. The classes are about $100 for 8- 12 weeks and the cost includes your clay. For comparison other ceramic classes can start $300! I know I'm about to blow up my own cozy quiet nook of Nashville, but if that means the community discovers and supports this arts center... I'm here for it!

The Rare Prints Gallery in downtown Franklin is really awesome. The place is full of a gorgeous…read moreselection of ornithological prints, and all kinds of other prints of foliage, whales, and scenery. The room is large with tall 20 foot ceilings. The prints are hung inornamental frames and placed all along the wall from the floor all the way to the top of the room. These prints are really worth looking at, you can get some of them for under $200. It's a great place to start your art collection, or get a gorgeous rare print.
