It was clean, empty, for the most part at 7:30 AM on a Monday. The woman running the place was an awesome, sweet lady. She had someone come in to work, cleaning up the bathroom and machines already in decent shape. They even provide detergent if you forgot yours. There's a snack machine and a change machine, there's no need to get singles either. And even better? Sonny Side Up Breakfast and lunch in the same area so I could get a coffee and an overpriced Bacon, cheese and egg croissant (I'm sorry, $9.60 for that?!) In any event, the laundromat has plenty of machines and they are FABULOUS ones. 100% recommended!

They also seem to know all the regulars. They do have something I've never seen before; loads of children's books, jigsaw puzzles, and things for them to keep busy while you're doing the laundry and keep them occupied and out of mischief. That's especially helpful if you have young children that you can't leave at home alone. The staff even engages them in conversation while they are doing the drop-off laundry for someone else. Although they're not a bank, they can break larger bills so you don't have to have $20 in quarters come out of the change machine. There's a couple of restaurants nearby we can get a quick bite while the laundry is in the machine.

But I walked in , the very nice manager immediately engaged with me, told me the rules and asked if I'd be coming on a regular basis before I could get a card. Geez, the pressure of committing. But I'm in it now. My loads are bubbling away and I have nothing to do but sit and Yelp about it. So here's the bad and the good: The Bad: Old rundown building, dirty floors and machines. Do not listen to the other reviews because this place has definitely seen better days. The Good: the woman was very helpful, put money on my card using my credit card, no problem and no fees. She showed me how to use the machines and wasn't offended as I clorox'ed them down. She probably appreciated the help. She offered me fresh coffee twice and it did smell good, but when I looked at the old pot I refrained. Bottom line: I'll get my laundry done for this week and it will be fine, but I'll be looking at alternative options in the future, card or not.
