Suzy the owner is very kind! I came here for the first time last week as my AirBnb has a washer but not a working dryer (womp). I didn't know that when I washed my clothes at the Airbnb that I couldn't dry them. It was almost 6pm and I didn't have anywhere to hang them And there was no laundromat in town in pleasant valley. Luckily We've Got Your Sock isn't that far away, it was the closest and I am glad I went there! i was able to dry my 2 small loads in 1 xl dryer very quickly. the dryers are HOT and i spent less money and time to dry My clothes thoroughly than ever in my life! At home my dryer never dried everything in less than 45mins-1hr, and for The last 6 months I had been living in an extended stay hotel that had bad dryers that took two cycles to dry. We've Got Your Sock is very very clean, well maintained and Suzy was so kind to let us eat our dinner at the front table since we had ordered it while washing our laundry not realizing the dryer didn't work at our Airbnb. We just kind of grabbed all our stuff and ran to We've got your sock in a hurry. Anyway, people complaining in other reviews about being asked questions -- Suzy is friendly and welcoming person. I am a very introverted myself but she made me feel very comfortable. And someone said something about thinking this place has an issue with races and I don't think that's the case at all-- my wife was with me whom is half African & half Hispanic. No Bad vibes here. Please stop being so fragile and stop projecting your fears onto other people who haven't done anything or intended anything bad towards you. Conversation is normal, and if you don't like it, just say so to someone with respect, address people like a normal adult, don't come on the internet to complain because you're too cowardly to speak the truth in person. Because of Yelp, we were able to find this wonderful laundromat! Suzy is absolutely wonderful as is her facility. It's bright, clean and everything you think a laundromat wouldn't be. They also offer wash and fold as well as dry cleaning services. They also offer pick up and drop off service within a 25 mile or so radius if you're a regular wash and fold customer that exceeds their minimum weight requirement. Suzy and her team were a great help to us. Our hotel dryer broke down and we needed to wash and dry towels and linens in order to stay open. Even though it meant the laundry staff working extra hours they were able to deliver our wash everyday so that we had no interruption in our business. As a first time laundromat goer, this was the best place I could have found! As soon as I walked in, Susie noticed I looked a bit lost, and jumped up to help. She gave me all the info, and got me started. She is so friendly, you feel comfortable right away. And this place is like hanging out in your own home doing laundry, with lots of places to sit and up to date magazines (anyone who has been to nail salons/doc offices with magazines from 2 years ago can relate to how rare this is...). Even the other customers were friendly! And if you don't want to hang out waiting, there is plenty to do in the plaza- walgreens, delis, nail salon. Did i mention she hands out candy? While I was enjoying my complimentary cup of coffee, Suzy came in the door with a new tractor and train toy for the kids to play with while their parents do laundry. As a former educator, she knows kids need to be happy while their parents do laundry. They can play with the kitchen or any of the other toys. The children's bookshelf is curated with classics and fun read alouds. The wall is lined with vintage clothing. It's a genuine clothing timeline! Doing laundry isn't always enjoyable, but stepping in here makes the tedium of laundry less boring. I used them for the first time this past weekend, driver came within time frame that we were given, for pickup and the delivery, he was courteous and efficient. They use the best detergents and fabric softener, our laundry smelled heavenly. Everything was folded/hung up on hangers perfectly. We had a small hiccup with some missing items and Suzie was extremely diligent at helping resolve the issue, not only did we get a credit for future orders we were given a refund, I thought this was extremely generous and thoughtful (my daughter was happy she went shopping with the money to replace missing items ). To be honest this laundry is too expensive. When you first walk in you will notice the vintage clothing hanging on the wall I wasn't there for 5 min yet before I started getting Interrogated by two women. Maybe it was the owners maybe not. They would ask questions like what side of town you live on, where you from, what you do for a living and the list would go on and on. I felt uncomfortable and altogether annoyed. I didn't seem rude while providing the information they ask for but boy did I just want to say mind your F business! I felt like they was judging maybe they thought I was a Bum on the street or some thug not sure why so many questions but I didn't like it. Then when I went to my car and came back I over heard one of the ladies saying how unsafe she felt and that's why she checks cameras. By the way I never been to jail In my entire life. I had to wash a bulky mattress pad that I couldn't get into my washing machine, so I looked on line for a laundromat, found this place and, based on the reviews, decided to give it a try. When I got there, Suzy immediately greeted me and helped me pick the right size washer, showed me how to use it and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed, and even gave me a cup of tea. The place and equipment are neat and clean, the staff is nice and there's a comfortable sitting area. I am so conflicted about this review. I want to give it more stars because ,Suzy, was awesome! She showed an outstanding customer service skill. Called me when my dress was ready. But.... I dropped off a dress that had a very subtle stain, she put a mark on it and was honest that, they might not be able to get it out (which is so strange to me but ok!) came back to get my dress, the stain was not gone, and had additional white powdery stain was on it??!?! She did offer to get it sent back, but I needed the dress for the next day, so I decided, I'll just take it, I can put jewelry to cover it. But the worst part is .... the dress smelled like, strong vinegar. She said, it could be the chemical they use to dry clean. Because dry clean is not technically dry clean! It's been 3 days, my dress smells horrible! Smells like food, vinegar, spices.... I can't tell! All I know is, it STINKS! And I was not able to wear it! I tried everything I can to air it out.... nothing works! I paid $25 for that dress to be cleaned! I don't have a clean dress, I have a dress with additional stain and a very strong unpleasant smell. It's Very disappointing, when the customer service was so amazing, and yet the service rendered falls flat! read more

The amount of effort Suzy puts into this place keeps me coming back it's always very clean and the decorations are adorable! I don't feel like I'm in a laundromat when I'm here. There is free WiFi and cable TV. She's always offering cups of coffee to the customers. There's comfortable places to sit and a tables space. I have only been to this laundromat once but I can honestly say this place is great as far as laundromats go. The gal who runs it is super sweet and her main goal seems to be making you comfortable. She helped a buddy and I choose the machine and settings that best suited our needs for what we were washing. The price per load seems pretty high for the washers BUT they're double, triple, or quadruple load washers so it all evens out. Definitely where I will be going from now on. Today was our first time doing laundry here since our washer just blew up. My husband and I have never had such a great experience doing laundry and especially out of our own home. I had the pleasure to come across this place when I was out running errands yesterday. Not only is it a really clean location (which is important when you want to wash a white comforter) but one is made to feel very comfortable and at home. They have a great seating area, as well as a library. I was particularly interested in all the artifacts and historic curios that the owner had curated throughout the location. We ended up having a great discussion on the history of cleaning clothes and I learned a lot (and will be trying to track down some bluing for my white shirts.) read more

Worst dry cleaner/ laundromat I've ever encountered in my 20 plus years of getting my clothes dry cleaned. I dropped off several shirts to get dry cleaned that had no stains or marks whatsoever on them, and Susie, the curt and abrasive owner, took them, promising they would be clean in four to five days. She also told me that she could do it in less time if I was willing to pay an extra $18. I find it interesting how this was never disclosed when I called and was told there was a two day turnaround on Drycleaning. Refusing to be shaken down for additional funds, I picked my clothes up five days later, only to find stains all over my previously spotless Hugo Boss button up shirts. When I confronted Susie about said stains, she acted as if she was dumbfounded, tried redirecting blame and saying it must have been my fault, then finally 'offering' to re-clean the shirts.When they came back there were still the new stains that weren't there previous to using this shady business. I told her that this is not what I had paid for, and I wanted her to either get the stains out, or replace my clothes that she had damaged. She instead got indignant with me on the phone and hung up on me when I questioned her about running her business with integrity and dignity. Evidently integrity and dignity aren't in her limited vocabulary, because no business owner with either would ever act this way. So now I am reporting her to the Better Business Bureau, and about to enter litigation with this classy 'lady'. Also worth noting is the fact that she offered to give me $30 for my $200 brand new shirts if I let her keep them, quite the little racket she has going on. I'm not sure which is more appalling and grotesque; her attitude and overall demeanor when confronted with a crisis that her own negligence created, or the damage that my brand new clothes acquired under her care. Either way, avoid this sketchy dump at all costs. read more

I live in millbrook and travel 25 minutes for this laundromat, the owner is a great women and does her best to go above and beyond in the customer service aspect. You are treated right when you walk in and the place is always super clean!! She offers free coffee or tea anytime you arrive and they have a card that once you cost 10 times you get a free small load!!! Where else do you get that?? Exactly nowhere else. If you have kids they have toys and books and a little play laundry area as well as a tv and vending machine for drinks such as tea, water and soda well because kids don't want coffee unless they are my 10 year old Highly recommend trying this place out.... read more

I recently moved out of my comfortable home when my marriage (15 years) ground to a halt. My new home is a rental without a laundry room - and no place to put one. I don't have the time or inclination to do the laundromat thing and searched everywhere for a wash and fold drop off laundry service that I could use - there were none to be found and the laundromats I visited turned me off. It feels like a family affair. Look no further for a laundromat - this is what every laundromat should be like - Suzy has raised the bar and set the standard. In fact, she could probably franchise this business. The only problem would be finding others who care as much for their customers and make you feel good about this thankless chore. As a traveling musician I'm often away for weeks on end but I'm comforted in knowing my clothes are in good hands. I always get a call letting my laundry is ready for pick up - usually much sooner than expected- and if I'm away on business it's always, "No worries, it'll be here when you get back." We've Got Your Sock is child friendly with books and games and a comfortable sitting area. It's homey, and somehow it doesn't even smell like a laundromat. It's an unexpectedly pleasant and friendly place. Who knew? If you give it a try, I'm certain you're going to be back and you'll think twice about buying that washer and dryer - along with the planned obsolescence that comes with it.
