We have used The Cleaning Authority for the last 1.5 years. Cassie and Kailie do a great job. They are on time as promised in the text we receive. Once they arrive, they get right to work. They are pleasant and have a great attitude. Most importantly, they do the tasks described in the days rotation. One of my pet peeves is streaky mirrors. They do a great job cleaning the mirrors without leaving streaks. They let is know when they are leaving with a have a great day greeting and call out when they arrive so we know they are here. I would recommend them and the Cedarburg Cleaning Authority to anyone. They are cost competitive and a good value. read more

One of their employees stole a diamond necklace from me. They have no insurance or anyway to recover the loss. The police went to the main office to question them and interviewed the three women who cleaned my house that day, but nothing ever happened. The company is a sham! read more

I have used this service for over a year now & it is so nice to come home to a clean house. They are always pleasant if I happen to be home. I dislike dusting all the knick-knacks & have quite a bit of carpet to vacuum so getting it all done at once feels great! Rachel, Lori, Bonnie & Kristin are some of the cleaners that have been here and they don't miss an area ever. I have added extra cleaning dates around an event in my home & they are always able to accommodate my schedule. read more

We contracting TCA to clean our ranch home. The local franchise owner came to our home and explained to us how they work and manage the cleans and I was very impressed. We utilized their service bi-weekly for about 9 months and during that time had to ask that they return to fix some missing items that were not cleaned. When we would arrive home we never truly felt like our home was that clean. Often times we would find that the trash was not even removed from the cans. I would recommend other services over TCA. read more

The Cleaning Authority Service itself was "okay" in the sense it was better than doing it myself. I very frequently found actual marks on the floors that weren't cleaned, they didn't do specific things I'd requested like clean the glass patio door (owner said he would add this to the cleaning form the clearers would get), sometimes I would wipe the floor down when I got home and it would be really, really dirty, the sink was never cleaned well, they often forgot to dust or clean certain things, and part of the sales pitch included them changing the master br sheets which they only did about 60% of the time. However, like I said, it was "okay" cleaning (better than me doing it!) Then, I had a hole appear in my shower the morning after cleaning. They refused to pay for it arguing that even if their cleaner had dropped something on it, it only broke because it must have been improperly installed. The service that fixed the hole did not agree with their assessment. Either way, they probably would not have lost a customer if it weren't for their rude, defensive attitude from my first report of the hole, and their failure to communicate anything about what was going on with the process, which took over 2 weeks for them to tell me (with much prompting from me) that they weren't paying for the hole. Also funny, is that they lost a customer over what I pay in one month for cleaning. As much as my husband adamantly wanted to pursue small claims court action, I didn't think it was worth it from a cost or timing perspective. In the end, all I asked of them was that they delete highly confidential information related to obtaining access into my home. Initially they refused, and upon my follow-up they just stopped responding altogether. You (like me), may feel like using a cleaning service is safer and more reputable....don't do it!!! At least not this one.... read more

We have used the Cleaning Authority - Cedarburg for about 5 years in 2 different Homes. The thing that I love most about it...Tiffany and Brittany. For the most part, we have the same 2 people come every week...we know them well. They have gone over and above for us on many occasions. They are both friendly, respectful, and love to clean. The management team has always be good in adjusting cleaning times or days to meet our hectic schedule. Double inflation cost increases. Cedarburg owner was original salesman that signed me up stating they do random inspections at the houses after being cleaned. The only inspection I have ever had was the very first cleaning almost 3 years ago. Came home to a pet's broken leg a year ago among other broken items along the way. I stuck it out because of the convenience as both my husband and I travel for work and have two small children. After a recent notification of over 10% increase of cost that I questioned, they lowered it to a 4.25% increase. I then notified the company that I will be looking to discontinue service once I find a cleaning replacement only to be called a couple weeks later being accused of soliciting there cleaning people to clean for me on the side which was false. I notified one of the ladies since I was home that day that I was leaving cleaning authority to look for an independent cleaner like I used to have and I was looking for a local person. Never solicited them to clean my house on the side. Unbelievable. Horrible experiences. I would not recommend TCA - Cedarburg read more

After initially contacting them, they asked me to send pictures of my home so they could evaluate the cost of the service. Following several exchanges via email and phone, they scheduled a team of two cleaners to come to my home for an initial cleaning, which was intended to be repeated bi-weekly. When the team arrived, their demeanor felt uncomfortable from the beginning. They seemed somewhat cold and distant, and I felt as though they were looking down on me. While my home certainly needed routine cleaning, such as vacuuming and dusting - it was not cluttered or excessively dirty. There were no conditions that could reasonably be described as hazardous or unsanitary. I asked the team to use my personal vacuum cleaner rather than one brought from other homes, as I prefer not to use equipment that may have been used in houses with pets or children. I also have a high-quality vacuum cleaner that works very well. They agreed and began cleaning, though their reserved behavior continued. At first, I assumed they were simply quiet or reserved by nature. However, the situation changed when one of the cleaners entered my bedroom and saw a photograph of my stepdaughter, who is Black. For context, I am Asian. After seeing the photograph, the cleaner suddenly said, "I can't deal with this. I can't do this." When I asked what she meant and requested clarification, she simply said, "All of this," and walked out of my home. Shortly afterward, I received a call from Jennifer from the company, who said, "I'm so sorry, it didn't work out. This is more than we were expecting." Because the cleaning was not completed, I asked about the charges, and they assured me that I would not be billed. The behavior of the cleaning team was shocking and deeply upsetting. I left the interaction feeling as though I had somehow done something wrong, even though I had done nothing inappropriate. After this experience, I contacted Two Maids, and Ivette coordinated a team to come to my home. Their team was kind, professional, and welcoming from the moment they arrived. They had no issues using my vacuum cleaner, in fact, they complimented it. They cleaned my home thoroughly from top to bottom. I was extremely pleased with their service. She stated she did not have sufficient staff to come at the pre-arranged time but would try to find help to come later and would call in 2 hours. 3 hours later without a response, I called back and she said she might be able to come the next day -which was the day of the party and too late to be of use. She agreed to return my deposit the following week. After several weeks and no refund, Paypal took over the dispute and credited my paypal account $200. To be fair, she also offered a free hour of cleaning for the inconvenience but what's the point of scheduling if no one shows up?

TCA Cedarburg has been cleaning my home for several years, either monthly or bi-weekly. I have usually been very pleased with each cleaning, and the crew is friendly and professional. The one time when I wasn't pleased, I called the office and the charge for that cleaning was reduced by half. Megan, the manager, is understanding and helpful when I need to make changes in my schedule. This week on Thursday April 12, the team included my regulars, Carron and Lori, along with Juan, a young man who Carron was training. They all did an excellent job. I have used many cleaning services over the years, some great some not. There was not really a consistently good service/team. Then, finally, Carolyn Jones from The Cleaning Authority came into our home! She is always friendly, professional, and courteous. Plus, she cleans so professionally that I would never use anyone else! Plus, she is a pet lover and my bark-because-I'm-scared-of-everything dog loves her (ok, Carolyn brings her treats every time!). We have used The Cleaning Authority for several years and I'm very happy with the way Tara and Carron clean my house. They clean just as I would do it and that means a lot to me...I'm kind of picky! I would give the ladies 5 stars, but 4 stars reflects that I have had to adjust the number of cleaning day per month to offset price increases. So far it is working out ok.
