Don't work here. Joe will shorten your checks and will not pay for full time work. Also, I was sexually harassed inside a home on the clock and Joe continued to have that man work there and continue to put me in the same house as him after he knew about the incident. The Cleaning Authority, specifically Joe Roth's team, did a good job cleaning the house. We only asked for the main floor to be cleaned. Mr. Roth thought we needed 3 cleaners for this job even though we agreed on 2. On the day of the cleaning, the cleaners showed up 15 minutes before the agreed upon window showtime. My 10 month pregnant wife was not ready to let them in yet. Mr. Roth ended up charging us for those 15 minutes the cleaners had to wait and were not actually cleaning. Also, the cleaners made sure the clean took an hour because they were slow rolling. There is no way one floor took three cleaners an hour (and I was charged more). I hired this company for bi-weekly cleanings. From the get go they were very unreliable. They never showed up for the appointment, then called afterward and apologize and reschedule for another week. Again at the time of appointment never showed up. They never called ahead, no communications, nothing. They wasted several weeks of my time. I would not recommend this company. read more

Unreliable and very poor communication. For the first five monthly cleanings, the crew showed up only three times. They cancel at the last moment and make no effort to re-schedule. No one returns phone messages or emails. The crew does a good job if they show up. The problem is the management. If the owner reads this review, I hope he contacts me. read more

Tried to set up a cleaning with the owner. First appointment was canceled and he was an hour late to the rescheduled appointment. Had to wait 3 weeks to schedule a cleaning. No one showed up and no one called. After we contacted owner, he said no one was coming. Very unreliable, very unprofessional and I would not recommend this company. read more

We were looking for a company to do a quick clean of our home every two weeks. After calling a few I was contemplating whether it would be better to just do a once a month clean to save a little money. Then TCA Des Moines' flier came in the mail and they were able to do a biweekly clean for much less than the other companies-the clincher being that each time they come they deep clean one area of the house. They do it this way to keep costs down. I appreciate each person who has come to clean and Angela and Elise have been here twice and done such a quick and efficient job! The owner of the company is also very helpful and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this company if you're looking for the best price and a basic clean! read more

My husband and I currently use this company to clean our 2 bedroom apartment. They come twice a month and do a pretty decent job. I like the fact that they leave a checklist of the items they've cleaned so that you are reminded what you're paying for. This company focuses on surface level cleaning of your bathroom, kitchen, and living room. That would include taking care of your toilets, tubs, dusting some items, vacuuming, and cleaning out the microwave. They do not wash dishes or laundry, etc. You would need a maid for those tasks. I've not had any issues with them. They do a nice job of communicating when they are going to come and I haven't had any issues with theft. read more
