Stay away from this company. I paid almost $300 for them to clean a townhouse that was almost totally empty. I cannot begin to tell you what a piss poor job they did. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned; the floor hadn't been swept and it appeared as if nothing had been done for over two hours. To add insult to injury they left a slushy in the freezer that spilled over. I contacted the Cleaning Authority via email, text and a telephone conversation and I forwarded them pictures of the shoddy cleaning. I was told that someone would get back with me. Needless to say that never happened. Whoever owns this branch of the Cleaning Authority should be ashamed. I felt as if I had been robbed. You don't deserve 1 star. I have nothing to say, other than team 4 did an excellent job today and they continue to strive for nothing but the best. Tiffany, Yuri and JyKeema (Team 4) were very professional and pleasant. I wish I had read these reviews first! If I wanted a sh*t job done on my house, I would clean it myself. I have given constructive feedback after every clean, but it does no good. They don't clean under or behind ANYTHING. I just get the feeling their only objective is to see how fast they can leave. Black mold left in the shower grout, pink mold left around the bathtub drain, dog hair left in corners, many many areas are never even dusted. They don't even wipe off the top of my kitchen garbage can. That seems like it should be included in a very minimal, cursory cleaning. read more

This was the worst company I've ever communicated with. They walked in my house and proceeded to tell me what they would and wouldn't do.

I will never use this service again "The Cleaning Authority - Jonesboro location". They never turned the water on in the shower, blinds not dusted, baseboards not dusted, glass smeared on the tables and mirrors not cleaned. The list that's used to sell the service is a good list but a total lie. There were four ladies in my house for about an hour. My house was already clean by their standards even though the house was very visible dusty. They moved trash cans and put them in the wrong rooms, they never raised the blinds to dust the window seals. If you want a half done job this is your company but if you want your home cleaned don't use this location.  A second crew came back to my home two days later to re-clean and agreed that the first crew did a terrible job. The second crew consisted of one of the ladies from the previous crew, this time they did a better job. I don't like standing over people to do the job they're being paid to do, therefore, I will never use this company. For $298, I should have had a spotless house, this was not the case, not even close. read more

My aunt and I hired them for my parents because my mother is battling cancer. We have been using them for at least two years. I am done. I have to check behind them. They use excuses like, "Our vacuums are broken, I can't find the trash liners, I am not allowed to dust above my shoulders." Well hon, I can see that. You do have swiffers for that. I have to call and have them come back out but this last week was the worst. They left and didn't vacuum. They didn't dust. They didn't mop. Basically, they took out the trash. Now, I am going to take them to the trash. Don't use them. Waste of money. I have to go back and clean every week after them. They did come back out after two days worth of calls. read more

3 weeks to schedule in person quote, then was a no show to our home after taking off work to meet them here. Called 800 number who said they were not answering phone or message so did not know what happened or why a no show but could see us scheduled. Never did get explanation or call back. This company is terrible and I still haven't heard back about getting a refund for this crappy clean that I paid over $100 for over a month ago! They haven't even tried to contact me about reimbursing me for a decorative bottle they broke. My next door neighbor and I met with Kandy one evening and scheduled our first cleanings for the following Monday (3/3/14). I haven't ever been so excited to come home to see the "miracles" they had promised to do for the $125.00 I paid. Let me make sure I tell you that I clean my house every day and only need the "extras" that I am unable to do because I've had three back surgeries. I explained that to Kandy in great detail. I also told her that I owned a cleaning service in Macon for 11 years and I knew the pros and cons of hiring a service. I've been paying an individual and wanted a company in order to get more professional service. Boy did I mess up!! I paid to have my home vacuumed. They went through my drawers, spilled MY cleaning supplies on the carpet, when the agreement was for them to provide their own supplies. I paid to have exterior cabinets, baseboards, doors, appliances, etc. cleaned and none of those things were touched. I dust, vacuum, wipe down my kitchen every day. I'm the OCD type person that what we wear today will be cleaned and put away by morning. My house doesn't look lived in. I am unable to work with severe back and leg problems. It's the small things like compliments on my beautiful home that I take pride in. I understand working people have different cleaning needs. I again, was assured by Kandy that they catered to each individuals needs and after walking thru my home she understood my needs; were blinds, baseboards, cabinets, etc. I didn't ask for linens. This company advertises to clean baseboards every cleaning....they didn't touch any of mine. I truly believe they walked in, saw a clean home, vacuumed...half way mopped and left. I will be posting pictures as proof. My next door neighbors house was dustier than mine before the cleaning and still is today. Furthermore, she found this morning they STOLE from her. She didn't notice it on Monday but this morning she went to put on her Orgami Owl necklace....it's gone. Now she has to file a police report. Please people beware!!! We both immediately called Monday repeatedly, no one returned our calls. I did get an email on Tuesday asking me to call them. I now have to have the blue pine sol cleaned out of my carpet tomorrow. We were also told that if you aren't satisfied they would send someone out to look and re clean the next day. Really??? We couldn't get anyone. I left messages begging someone to come out. I wouldn't even cook or let the kids shower hoping that they would come back. The employees did the sorry cleaning job but even worse the management didn't live up to their promise of coming back on site to "survey". I was a customer for 2 years and was very satisfied until I decided to move out of my home and rent it out. I called the Cleaning Authority to do a "move out" clean. The home was completely empty and the carpet was cleaned prior to them coming out. When I arrived at the home after the clean, I was surprised to see the refrigerator had not been cleaned on the inside, the bottom drawer of the stove had not been touched, the floors in the closets were dusty and the inside of the cabinets (kitchen, bathroom) were not cleaned. I called them the next day to complain, and they sent another team out the following day. I was so positive the work at been completed that I asked my tenant to meet me at the house a couple of days later to do a walk through. That was a BIG mistake. This time the refrigerator and the bottom drawer of the stove were the only items touched. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE OTHER ITEMS I MENTIONED????????????????????? I was so embarrassed with my new tenant standing there. I had to drive to the store, buy cleaning supplies and come back to the house (with the tenant there) and clean it myself. I miss Doryanna (sp) after she left. She was on the original team that cleaned my house. I am not saying the company does half-a** work, but the teams they have working for them now are LAZY. read more

I scheduled cleaning service for 0830AM every other Wednesday to begin on April 1, 2015. One Wednesday it was 10:00AM and no one arrived. I called the Office to find out what happened. Angie told me that they had a meeting. I asked why no one contacted me. Angie became very indignant and said they frequently have meetings from time to time. I ignored Angie's rudeness. But today, July 22, 2015, when no one arrived by 10:00AM, I again called the Office. I was told that Angie had stepped out. Candy told me that I was scheduled for the second cleaning team of the day at 10:30AM. When I questioned why my schedule was changed after 4 months, Candy said that no one had ever input the 0830AM timeslot in the computer. Although Candy was very polite, I told her to just cancel my service completely. This company is unreliable and undependable. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I had this company come clean for me once. And once was enough. I am a very clean person but had surgery so I couldn't clean my own home. I guess it depends on what team they send out, but my team was horrible. All the mirrors looked like soap had been smeared all over them. I gave him windex and asked him to redo them, but that never got done. She dusted the front tops of my dressers but didn't bother with the back tops. All the window sills weren't done. Hair was left in the shower drains. It looked like she emptied her vacuum in my kitchen garbage can and missed the can. Grit and sand was left all over the floor in front of the can. This wasn't there before they came. Crumbs left on hardwoods in front of my toaster. They were suppose to wipe down my kitchen cabinets, which wasn't even touched. Black grunge was left in my kitchen sink drain. I would never recommend this company. She lied and said that she already cleaned my laundry room sink. I did it. She had planned to leave without cleaning the laundry room floor. I had to remind her. Terrible company. read more

I had the Cleaning Authority clean my home for about 8 months. My son just had a birthday and received $200 from his grandfather. The Cleaning Authority cleaned my home and within two days we noticed his money was missing. No other individual had been in the home, nor would have had access to my son's room. The Cleaning Authority at first seemed to be taking care of it. I was told they would refund my money and the employee would be released. I never heard from them again. I called a few times and ironically they ignored my calls and messages that I had left. I guess they decided to sweep it under the rug and hoped the complaint/ issue would disappear. It is very concerning that they are still in business and probably still have those individuals working for them. Customer Beware! Who knows what else might have disappeared without our knowledge. PS Cannot prosecute unless you have a video of individual taking belongings. My home is not wired for that. Needless to say, my son is terrified to have any other house cleaning service in our home. He is 9 years old and was devastated from his loss. read more
