I could not possibly select a rating because none exists for this unprofessional approach to handle complaint regarding broken shelf left hanging off the wall, computer desk moved haphazardly and left in this positiioon. Master bedroom sheets untucked and sloppily made. The crew did not inform me of the above damage but when I reached out to their local office - 561-693-2592 in Lake Worth/West Palm Beach, Florida - immediately denied having left the damages above. Communicating with the office manager or whatever title she may hold was vulgar, combative and 100% in denial. I have a dispute ongoing with them but still unresolved. Sadly I can no longer recommend the cleaning authority. I've been a client since 2013. There were a few incidents along the way of damage, but always dealt with properly as that is expected. There were two recent teams since 2020 that cleaned my home that I had to ban. They lied about their cleaning time and did a poor job including the deep cleaned areas. Thank goodness for video. There were many instances where I had to have them come back out to re-clean areas with manager oversight. I have a model home, spacious, decluttered, no kids, so this is a very easy clean to execute. This also makes it easy to see where they didn't do the job they were supposed to do. Over time there was something I should have paid more attention to and you should too. For years I noticed kitchen trash bags from those large Sam's rolls that disappeared at a much faster rate than I could possibly use. I chalked it up to maybe they needed some for the next client's home and let it go. Right before Thanksgiving, half of the napkins were missing from the holder on the counter. Then I had missing trash bag rolls in both bathrooms. I would put out other cleaning agents for them to use since their eco-friendly products don't kill mold/bacteria that well or remove soap scum in the shower. In the case of the kitchen, pine-sol was left out and you know it has a very strong odor. My wife and I would come home immediately after a clean and the kitchen would be odorless. Yet the bottle would show dramatic emptying. This didn't make sense. Were they pouring it down the drain? Just a capful leaves that smell in the home. Then I noticed the dawn dishwashing liquid was nearly empty. That product is under the sink and never left out for use. We only use it sparingly a few drops at a time for a pet neutralizer formula. The strangest thing was a new bottle of 600 tablets of ibuprofen that was opened last summer. It is left in the kitchen cabinet right in front. The two of us may use a few tabs a month, yet in 6 months the bottle is nearly empty. My last bottle of that size lasted so long that the pills expired. Each of these things individually does not draw attention, but together, they indicate a pattern. The only thing I could think of is maybe the staff is taking things around the homes they clean and using them for personal use or to sell. According to staff reviews on indeed.com, they are offered poor wages. Could they be filling their own bottles with Pine-sol and Dawn? Otherwise, I have no idea what is going on. It's just the two of us and there's no one else that comes in the home. Unfortunately, I don't have cameras in every room so this turns into a he said, she said. That puts the owner Brad in a tough spot. All I can say is clients don't leave after 12 years unless there is a problem. So if I were you, I would pay very close attention to household supplies and make notes if any of them go missing. No one thinks about checking napkins, soap, pills, etc. If you notice it, then guess what, there is a pattern after all and my hypothesis is correct. I informed Brad about all of this, and other than defending his staff saying how moral they are (ignoring the liars I had to ban of course), he did nothing to keep me as a client. That's fine, trust has been broken and I don't want anyone from The Cleaning Authority in my home ever again. read more

Steer clear from this service. My initial clean was over $400 and the clean was far from acceptable . To make matters worse my favorite bottle of perfume disappeared the day they cleaned. No one but the people from The Cleaning Authority came to my home that day. Of course they tried to pass this off as me misplacing the perfume or some other service provider taking it. After we worked out an agreement where they would replace the perfume before the next cleaning scheduled they could clean my home again. We heard nothing from them until the day before they were scheduled to come back; saying they would be here at 8:00 AM the next day. The person calling knew nothing about the perfume. The next day I finally called them about 10:30 AM to see where they were. I was told they planned to bring the perfume with them, but that no one called me about coming at 8:00AM or following up on the perfume. Totally disappointing with every aspect of their service and honesty. For your own good never use this service. Brad talk about a liar, you take the cake on that score. I never lied to you about any of my experiences; including the perfume. Interesting you get a bad review and your response is to blame the customer. Why would anyone want you or your team anywhere near their homes. After you failed on all counts of cleaning, stealing and overcharging for the initial sub-par clean . my review is not the only negative on these subpar cleaners. This is a review of the process - not the cleaning. The owner came to my house for a consultation. He was friendly and professional, but his cookie-cutter set-up is not the exact service I needed. I needed someone to just clean my bathrooms, kitchen, and mop the floors and baseboards through my home. He was quick to tilt his head with a look and say he didn't normally do that, but could give me a quote and 'if I really needed it done that way.' I realized right then and there, I wasn't his ideal customer because I wasn't an every 4-6 weeks kind of person - and I wasn't a whole house deep clean which means the money I'd pay him wasn't going to add up to their normal job. He left saying 'he'd call me to get something set up'. It's almost three months later, and he's still not called to set it up. I'm very disappointed in this company. The promise of "hand wipe doors,door frames, baseboards,and knicknacks" is a joke. I have bookcases with several"knicknacks" They have never been dusted! Cleaning of doors etc. Is not obvious either. I think some of the ladies speak English but pretend not to...less work. A supervisor checked the work once. She wasn't pleased; asked the ladies to redo a couple of areas. After she left, they stood in the kitchen and talked for 10 mins then left! I admit my house looks better when they leave, but the company doesn't fulfill all their promises. Very upset with what I paid ($200; which he did drop from $260, but not even worth $200!) today for the job that was done. Today's "detail-clean" was focused on the bathrooms and kitchen, and then regular cleaning of the remainder of the house. The tile in the bathrooms still have soap scum on them, soap scum still under/in soap holder, dust on shelf in bathroom, they dusted my fan in MB but left dust chunks on the rug, didn't clean the entire MB floor, still thick dust in corner of the room, on the hardwood floor. Oven not wiped nor cleaned (kitchen detail day!) Microwave looked good . There was still trash and dog hair under island in the kitchen. Dust still on LR wall hangings. Blinds halfway dusted. The very few dishes in the sink were moved sink to sink while they cleaned it instead of loading in empty dishwasher. For the quote I was given of $260, I would've thought all this would be included, as I used to clean houses for a living and know what's expected from the customer. We expects what's sold to us at the initial quote! Don't tell me bathrooms and kitchens will be "detail cleaned" and then have this many misses. I understand missing a few things, but this was overboard! Way too many misses for that first impression. I would've hoped to have been given a better "discount" for all of the things I had to go back and fix. I will never recommended this company at this time. I have only used The Cleaning Authority for about 6 months, but I am canceling my service immediately. I have had the same experiences as listed in many of the previous reviews--no hand wiping or dusting AT ALL AS PROMISED. Workers speak very little English so they act like they don't understand instructions. Banged up furniture and baseboards with sweeper. Tile floors are still dirty after they mop. Items have been broken. When they get to my house, they sometimes sit in their car for a while and always sit in their car 15 minutes or so after they leave. Don't know what that's about, but I suspect I'm getting cheated out of cleaning time. read more

Do not waste time calling this "company". I left work early one day to meet Brad Ayers at my house so he could give me an estimate for bi-weekly house cleaning. The estimate was reasonable and I like what was promised with TCA services. I called Brad the day after we met. Long story short- I have left 4 messages to begin service. I have not had a return call. This makes me think they would be very difficult to work with and potentially cancel or reschedule cleanings. I would not recommend anyone even taking the time to get an estimate because they apparently will not follow through with actually cleaning the house. read more

Rude, argumentative, and downright unpleasant. I spoke with the owner but I think I am going to move on. We are a new customer to TCA - OKC and so far are pleased. I met the ladies cleaning our house this month (Maria and Sonia) and they were very sweet. They did a nice job and our house looks great. My only hesitation in a 5 star rating was that the house does not have that "clean smell" when they are finished. That may be due to the environmentally safe products they use when cleaning. I have been using this service for a couple of years now. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the overall service. The cleaners are very professional and thorough. I had an issue one time with something they missed. When I called about it they immediately offered to come back out and correct it. Carolina and Suky cleaned this week. I was out of town and when I came home it was a wonderful feeling to walk in and have everything so clean and neat. I saw in other reviews a complaint about language barrier but I have never found this to be an issue. If the cleaner doesn't understand you they have someone available at all times by phone in the home office who will translate. I have found that they make customer satisfaction a priority. read more

I wish I had better things to say about this company, but I sadly don't. We've been using their services for about 6 months now and we only stay with them because we don't want to start over with a new company. The owner, Brad Ayers, seems very nice and the services seem insanely good at first... But that's not how it stays. The ladies that clean the house are slightly lazy in that they clean around anything that is on the floor. I know it's not their responsibility to pick my house up, but they could at least kick the item out of their way. They also have broken many items around the house. Do you know how sad it is to find that they've broken something that your 18 year old made when she was 5? They almost never speak English, which makes it extremely hard to communicate with them. I once asked if they could dust the staircase and they said no because they didn't understand what I was asking them. If I ever call to cancel a cleaning due to various reasons, the company argues with me and tries to talk me into keeping the appointment. If I'm paying a cancelation fee anyway, why does it matter? Less work for you! Customer service is horrible and the cleaning is half assed. Try somewhere else. read more

I have used TCA for several years and have been pleased with their work. It is great to come home to a clean and usually sparkling house. The girls are conscientious in their work even though I am not always at home to watch them. They seem to work well without supervision and I could not be happier with their service. I am amused by the way they rearrange the items on my bathroom counter top.and sometimes I leave it the way they rearranged it. I had tried other cleaning services and finally decided to give it one more try with TCA. Most of the months my house is a pleasure to come home to after my monthly cleanings. If I ever do have a problem with anything, I email Brad and things are taken care of quickly. My only request is that I wish the same ladies would come each month. It starts off really good-but does not stay that way.I have been using them for the last 9 months and all the stuff they say about rotation on cleaning different things each time is just that- stuff they say. The owner Brad is very nice and is good to try to work with but does not follow through on promises. I have a chair that sets kati-cornered to a wall. I pointed out 3 times that they were not getting between there when they swept and mopped. I was told it would be fixed and never did. Also when dusting they do not remove the items from the shelf or table they just dust around them. I had a receipt setting on a end table and they sprayed and got it wet , did not move it and got it stuck to the table. Now I have a warped place on my end table.I was told almost every time I called with an issue they said they would give me a discount on my next cleaning which never happened. When I called and canceled my service with them they still showed up and came in my house. Luckily I was home and called or I am sure I would have been charged for there services. read more
