We hired them to clean a house we just purchased that was totally not cleaned by the former owners, and probably hadn't been since we first saw the house and made the offer (even though they were still living there and it had been a couple of months). We especially wanted the kitchen and bathrooms cleaned. We filled out a form on their site and they got back to us pretty quickly. Unlike another company that required a guy to come out to see the job for the estimate (and then wait 3 weeks for the appt), we were able to get an estimate over the phone and schedule them to come within the week. A team of 3 cleaners showed up and they did a great job. They pretty thoroughly cleaned the kitchen top to bottom including counters, flooring, inside cabinets, vacuuming in drawers, and cleaning the refrigerator. They did a good job on the fridge, even finding food in the fridge from the previous owners (EW) and throwing it out. It was much cleaner afterwards but there was one spot of some kind of brown sauce or something that wasn't scrubbed out of the track of a bin and I was a little disappointed about that. However, I understand that they had kind of a big job and had they spent more time seriously scrubbing everything, the bill would have been a lot higher. They cleaned all 3 bathrooms top to bottom and I was much more comfortable going in them and touching everything than I had been. In addition to what we wanted them to focus on, they dusted everything, vacuumed all the floors and carpets, even on the stairs. All in all, they did a good job and the estimate we received was the same as what we actually paid. read more

My family had a huge party so we called this company. we saw it was affordable so my mom booked it. The ladies who came to our house were both very nice but they were not supplied with the correct cleaning tools. the job wasn't done good and the company is unprofessional. i urge you to choose someone else. read more

We have had this company cleaning our house on a monthly basis for the last year. We have had some issues the last 6 months in the quality of cleaning they've completed and had addressed the issues appropriately with their team- but they continued to come in and do a quick job without much care. The last cleaning they did was the final straw for us to cancel services - I actually second guessed if they even came that day because of how poor the job was. They refused to refund our payment after we sent photos of the job they did - which the company agreed was unacceptable. They would only refund our account, but we had made it clear we are not interested in services moving forward. It also took multiples emails to get them to respond to me. This is an extremely unprofessional company and I would not recommend. Issues: -hair and debris on upstairs bathrooms floors, clearly weren't swept or vacuumed so assuming not mopped either. -toilets don't look cleaned -all bath counters had debris (toothpaste soap and dirt) left on them so if touched it was a quick swipe -master glass shower doors weren't touched -soap smudges, dried water, mildew -the kitchen floor wasn't touched whatsoever - we walked in and were walking on crumbs everywhere -kitchen garbage and recycling wasn't touched, -crumbs on kitchen counter -oven covers put back on incorrectly -multiple lights left on in the house -bathroom garbages were emptied but bags weren't replaced, which I asked to be addressed multiple times -office bathroom was disheveled, rug swept to the side of the room, towel wasn't touched -finished basement was an add on to be cleaned - floor wasn't swept and there were cobwebs in corners This wasn't a one time issue - we continuously gave this company second chances asking them to please take out the garbage when they cleaned, address the kitchen floors properly, etc. If you use them, pay with a check so they can't charge you after a horrendous job. read more

I have been a customer for this company since December. I was very satisfied at first, but in the last month or so, things have gone downhill. They had ignored any requests that were specific for the rotation they were doing. Last visit was the final incident that made me cancel my account. Floors were not cleaned, lots of dirt and debris on top of cabinets... unacceptable. And this is not a cheap service. Awful! read more

Nothing but problems. We hired the TCA early this summer. Their website sounded amazing. Prompt, insured, thorough cleans, organized... Too good to be true. And it was. The 1st deep clean was not done properly so a 2nd crew was sent out & did a much better job. We were told this crew would stay with us. The owner worked with us & tried to rectify the many issues we encountered but it was one thing after another. One day no one showed up, without any call of notice or to reschedule, we had to call them to see what happened to our crew that day. They did end up sending another one days later. But an entire room got missed, garbages weren't emptied, the kitchen sink not wiped, bathroom floors not cleaned. The following cleaning our regular crew never came but a new group of strangers. We tried being patient because we knew there were staffing issues due to the pandemic, but this time 3 rooms were missed entirely, some floors never done, among other things. We were told over the phone, due to previous issues this clean would be no charge, but our account was still charged for the full amount. We waited for a call back from the owner who conveniently forgot the conversation and denied our refund. Offered the next one free, but how could we continue this after months of nothing but negative experiences. They kept our money. We were left with a half cleaned house (yet again), the feeling of being lied to, and over-charged. I have no words for the level of unprofessionalism we experienced on almost every level here. And very sad to see business owners in our community lying to customers and repeatedly providing half an agreed upon service while charging debit cards & denying refunds. read more

Called had appointment with manager Tony. Was informed someone would be in touch to set up cleaning date. Five days later, I called the business thinking there must be a mistake, as I heard nothing. I was told I would hear from someone within an hour and a half to schedule cleaning. The next day I received call-message left to call to set up cleaning appointment. I called business to set up appointment and was told someone would call me. I was never called. Rating should be zero stars, but not a choice. Where do I begin? This company is awful. We hired TCA to clean our house, they have a bunch of good reviews somehow and everything sounded great. It took a couple different crews to get one that could clean halfway decently. The company was responsive at first and tried to make things right. However, each time the house was cleaned, things were missed, simple stuff like garbage cans not being emptied, living room carpet not vacuumed, etc. As time went on, the cleaning actually got worse, more stuff was missed. Then, our cleaning crew did a no-show. Despite the fact that TCA knew about this (short on staff for the day) we had to contact THEM to find this out. We were told our usual crew would be coming in a few days. Turns out, our normal crew wised up and quite TCA, which we found out after an entirely new crew showed up at our house a few days later. I'm not sure what they even did in our house for an hour, because nothing was done. I called and complained, and was promised the next cleaning would be free. The next cleaning day arrived, and a whole new crew did yet another horrible job, so we fired TCA. Then, they billed us for what was supposed to be a free cleaning. No one would return our phone calls on the matter, and I've paid them for doing nothing. This is a garbage company, don't hire them. read more

Completely unprofessional betrayal of my trust. Several weeks ago, I scheduled a Cleaning Authority cleaning for today, because I have a party tomorrow. In the past, I have always received a confirmation call the night before. This time, I got no call, so I called them this morning. Only then was I informed that my scheduled cleaning had been moved back 2 hrs. Fine, extra time to prepare. Then the rescheduled arrival hour came and went. No cleaners, no call. After 10 min. on hold with the national call center, and another 20 min. for the Rochester office to call me back, they tell me at 3:30 Fri afternoon that they won't be sending cleaners today -- 24 hours before my party time and FAR too late to make other arrangements! I will NEVER use these bums again. Too bad: their cleaners do decent work, but their management is garbage. read more

My husband called for a quote in October 2021. We got a quote the next week. We stated that we needed at least two cleans done before Thanksgiving. The owner Tony said that could be done and someone would contact us shortly. It took 4 days for a scheduling phone call. The girls name was Michele. She gave us only one available date before Thanksgiving. We related what Tony had told us and Michele said she would contact Tony and ask. She did not call me back, so I had to call her. She told me that Tony told her he never said that. I said okay then I guess we are only booked for the one available date. Michele said she did not secure that date for us and had to check to see if it was still available!! What!? She said she would not know until the next morning for sure and she would call me. Guess what? No phone call again. Unreal!! I would not recommend or even think about using them in the future. read more

Overpriced, hired young girls who don't clean well or just don't want to, charge 150 for 2 hours work, house left half dirty.

The first two cleans were good and we were satisfied; never overly impressed after the first deep clean but good enough. Then the cleans declined in thoroughness, a lot was being missed and for $158 a time it was not seeming worth it. Our clean this week was a joke; hardwoods (the priority I asked for them to clean when the owner did the initial walk through) weren't touched at all, one of the bathtubs was still dirty and it appears they started to clean it as they left suds and their sponge in the tub. It appeared nothing was cleaned except one of the bathrooms had appeared to be wiped down and a few area rugs vacuumed. Based on our assessment it is estimated to take 2 hours for 2 cleaners and our outdoor camera showed they were only in the house for just over an hour. I immediately called and spoke to the owner after I heard from my husband that the house wasn't clean. The owner mentioned there's been other noted problems with this team of cleaners and said that he would send someone out to clean the house a different day. Once I got home from work and saw for myself how poorly a job was done and learned they had cut their time short at the house I felt uncomfortable continuing with the company - we had already felt dissatisfied and this lack of cleaning felt drastic. I could foresee in the future having this happen again. I immediately emailed the pictures of our house to the owner and let him know, based on how drastic this was I did not want any further cleanings and we would be looking to get a new service. I was surprised when I saw that I was still charged the full $158 for this "clean." I contacted the owner and once I heard back he explained that he could not refund my money because he had to pay royalties and sales tax on the service provided. Since my house was not cleaned I did not understand what service he was speaking of and how he "could not" refund my money. He continued to talk over me and blamed the specific team of cleaners but I pointed out that the last months clean was poor as well and that was a different team of cleaners. I tried to work with him on this and said I would pay part of the money for the few things that were cleaned but he suddenly lost his cool, became rude and said he would just refund my money and made a few off hand comments like "you can just go spend that money any way you want." I was shocked by a few of the rude things he said and how he spoke to me. Incredibly unprofessional. It didn't have to end like that but it further solidified our decision to no longer work with this company. In summary, I would be hesitant to use this company as it appears they will send their stronger teams initially and then after a while you will get weaker teams and be faced with wasting time making phone calls to get get "re-do" cleans. I also want to note that I probably would not have been motivated to take the time to write this review had the owner not acted so unprofessionally over the phone. We are now sticking to referrals for a cleaner through our family and friends. read more
