I was told that Tammy would be arriving at 9am on Thursday. The company was kind enough to send me a reminder on Wednesday at 4pm to confirm. Fast forward to 8:21am, day of, and the office calls to cancel. I've already paid for and sent to the grandsons to a babysitter for the entire 8 hours today, AND it's going to take 7-10 business days to refund my $648 I prepaid for your cleaning service. You've cost me money now. Your customer service was very friendly, but it's nothing when it only adds up to trouble and frustration for the customer you said you'd provide a service to. while going through some things mentally and physically i really let my house go, especially the…read morekitchen. i was talking to my sister about it and she referred Ebonie at Above The Barr Cleaning LLC to me. i told Ebonie that the kitchen was a total mess and was informed that she'd take care of it. i asked for the 'deep cleaning' and was sent a list of things that a deep cleaning entailed. She came, I showed her the kitchen, told her what i wanted done and showed her where things should be put after being cleaned. i fell asleep and the next thing i know she was waking me up and telling me she was done. my mistake was not looking before i paid her and before she left but i wasn't feeling well that day and took her reviews as word. by the time i got up and went to check her work i was mad as fuck. other than the half washed, wet dishes she put in my cabinet she put nothing else where it was supposed to be. just left everything either in the dish drainer or on the cabinet. she didn't wipe down all she was supposed to. everything was greasy like she'd dunked the most greasy items in the dish water first then just dunked everything else after, silverware, plastic containers, pots, pans, tops and anything else she was supposed to be washing in the greasy water. most things you can tell she didn't even use the dishcloth or either of the Dawns (i have both regular and professional) or the clorox bleach on. all cleaners were sitting under the cabinet. i showed her where everything was that she needed to use. i wrote her and told her how disappointed i was with the job and asked for a partial refund. she sent me $38 from a $138 payment and had the nerve to let me know she didn't think i needed to use some of the words i did but that was ok. i guess it was ok, she still kept $100 of my money for work she didn't do. i had to let her know that i didn't like her telling me she was a professional cleaner and didn't know how to wash dishes. there is so much more that wasn't done as she stated she would do but i'd be writing for longer than i want to. not telling anyone what to do but i'll let these pictures help you decide. this is what you get when you try to support Black owned businesses
